Purple and blue don’t necessarily clash, it depends on the type of purple and type of blue and how much of each you use. Analogous schemes can be just as good as complementary ones.
I’m glad someone mentioned this! I think the main key with colours is to limit them in some way, have a set colour scheme going in and try to keep them harmonious
Purple and blue can go really well together if they're the right shades. Personally loving to match them
If I remember correctly from working with pigments, which may be diferent than with rgb, i think there are two factors on what clashes and what doesnt in color theory
There is saturation, or how red is a red
Luminosity or how light or dark is a red, at some point is going to be so light or dark that is going to be indistinguishable of white and black.
If the colors have the same saturation they're going to clash, because they have the same intensity, and in a sense make your eyes don't know what is the focal point.
In the case of luminosity the colors are going to start to blend, and again the focal point is lost
If I remember correctly, there might be a third one, but i can't explain it with certain degree of confidence
I think that purple and turqoise is the most beautiful and magical colour combination ever.

@@YouKnowImOnMyPeriodYah Neutral colors are boring on their own and meant to be combined with other colors. Luckily if you're only using neutral colors you can throw in just about any non-neutral color and it'll look good.

@@mnazhiya i’m sorry, i’ve never fathomed someone aspiring to play the sims and i’m a little taken aback by it. this shows that you understand you’re not the intended audience for this game. most sims players on this app try to remain “family friendly” cause they want to make money off of their videos, and they edit out instances where they use swearing. but there are also channels(this being one of them) that appeal to a more mature audience. if this type of content offends you, then it’s not for you. i’m assuming you’re smart enough to have come to that conclusion.
For console, you can use A and B for your alt or X and O to place wherever you want
For raising and lowering objects, you can hold both LT and RT while pressing either up on the D-pad or down on the D-pad. The same applies to resizing. Just use left and right on the D-pad

@@teeheee888 they dont see colors thats why color blind. When ur blind u dont see anything at all. If they have for example “Proton colorblindness” they cant see red and green and just see world in black grey white yellow etc

@@somebody3150 if you have a decent pc and the patients to find out how to make it work, go and play the sims 3. Even if you only want to get 1 EP, the sims 3 EP's are soooo much better then any sims 4 EP (yes even showtime).

@@somebody3150 that’s honestly a really good idea, you can also get the sims 3 when it’s on sale and it will only cost you 5$ (ON STEAM!!!) bad thing is though you can’t play it on Mac. :)
For console
hold down both LT/L2 and RT/R2 and then:
- press up and down on keypad to raise or lower objects
- press the left or right arrows on keypad to size up or down objects
And also whilst moving an object you can press LT/L2 to change if you want objects on the tiles, on the half tiles or to move completely freely

Lmao fr. I was so happy when the Better Build/buy mod got an update to edit the colors in build/buy
This was one of the funniest videos I've seen in a while. The way your voice has a shaky quality to it ("oH my goD", "ooOoH", "that's a scHolng") is comedy gold in on itself. Also the tips are great as well. I did everything beside the lights and the cabinets so I'll definitely add that to my game too, thank you!

yeah probably because you saw the thumbnail of it. if you didn't pay attention to the thumbnail then on the thumbnail there's a bedroom that has purple neon lights

I REALLY struggle to build in the sims 4. Sure there's more freedom for movement but there's less STUFF to fill it with and it still feels really restrained and to be honest I've kinda given up trying to build a new house and will just edit pre-existing ones at this point. Guess Newcrest is never getting filled.

Sims 3 basegame technically had less furniture than 4, but it _feels_ like real furniture you'd see in everyday houses. Sims 4 furniture is just way too stylized and over-specific, so I default to the same 3 couches that tend to look normal in most houses.
Do you have all the packs downloaded, have you used the hidden objects and live edit objects cheat, aaand have you/can you try cc? Maybe that could make it more fun if you haven’t 😊
@@missundies yeah! When I just had the base game I used build cc! Now I have some more packs so I dont use so much anymore. But I'd say its definitely worth it!

Console controls: hold rb and lb and move the right stick to rotate objects freely
Pressing Lt sometimes will make you able to put objects freely
Hold Lt and Rt to; d-pad left and right: increase or decrease size; d-pad up or down: lift or lower objects

They hot keys for changing the colors of objects was enough for me to have watched this video. Nobody talks about that hot key, and it’s hard to find. I think you’re right about the lights too, I never quite understood the color changes for home use before.

You can use the more complex move objects (size up etc) cheats on console, you use the bumber keys and the d-pad buttons (up and down to lower/raise items, left and right to size up and down). You can also rotate items on any angle using the bumper keys when you select an item and the analog sticks
Usually I find NONE, and I mean, N O N E of fakegamergirls videos helpful.i just find them funny.

I recommend the red shelf cc (dont remember what it's called sorry) it can help you with putting things on surfaces that cant go on, like if u have a plant or something and it doesnt go on the surface just use the ref shelf and it'll work (most of the time).

@@SirSproutsALot to pull up the cheat bar press all four shoulder buttons (L1, L2, R1, R2). Type in any cheats you need. To size things up press L2 + R2 and use the right and left d-pads. To raise things up use the same thing but with the up and down arrows. If you need anything else/are confused I’ll be happy to help!

Decided I wanted to build on every single lot in the Sims 4, quickly realized I was VERY bad at decorating, and then literally the next day this video showed up so I think YT is monitoring my sims games now too and saw how much help I needed

some tips I have are-
try and decorate to the sim's hobbies or age- like a teen may want a study area and clothes everywhere, and a bookworm sim may like loads of bookshelves. like, loads. and clutter is key, but make sure you put it down nicely. hope this helps!

Me, sees thumbnail: "how can that be ugly? It's warm, homey, and cozy, the purple one is an eyesore, it's a disco, a love hotel, it's less pleasant"
Free rotation can be achieved on consoles by holding both shoulder buttons (not the triggers) and moving the right analog stick left, or right.
Resizing furniture can be achieved by holding both triggers and pressing LEFT or RIGHT on the directional pad, with left making the obeject smaller and right making the object larger.
Neither of these require BB.Moveobjects, but the command prompt for such a task can be achieved by pressing both shoulders and triggers in tandem (at once) which will bring up the window.
Causing objects to float or "levitate" _does_ require BB.MoveObjects and can be done in the same manner as resizing the object, but instead of using left and right, the directional keys are UP and DOWN for obvious purposes.

The biggest problem for me is furniture stats. Yes, this chair looks great but it's counts as "uncomfortable". And also you sometimes can't use furniture cuz of moving it of the grid.

1:04 for PS4: if you use bb.moveobjects cheat to make things bigger i believe you hold L2 and R2 and navigate he size by the left and right d-pad buttons. For free placement, when moving an object click R2 till *free placement* pops up in a white box. other options are full tile and half tile. to raise and object do the same thing as sizing up just use the top and bottom of the d-pad. Now if you want to free rotate an object hold L1 and R2 and use the left joystick to turn the object freely. hope this helps :) sorry if i got something wrong!
