  • Presented by Spirit of 76 and AM Pyrotechnics, featuring Galaxis G-Flame flame projectors by Ardvark Vulcan FX.
One of the best shows I've had the opportunity to see in person - I wish I could have gotten the camera a little further back, but the site is unfortunately cramped on good filming positions.
Those salutes at the end were sketch AF, and should not have been on the track in my opinion...

Absolutely wonderful, this show gave me goosebumps, perfect selection of effects paired to the music. A 10 out of 10. Thanks for sharing this video!!!

This was amazing, not overdone (like some people), the right fireworks in the right areas, the mines were very good and dense, a very thick glitter effect. (I've not yet done my 1st show but will be doing once this year, been watching videos from pyros and joined a local pyro group, this stuff fascinates me and is amazing what people can create with it. In your opinion, how far should Salutes be from the audience, back with those other massive shells that went off throughout the show ?

300 feet for for 1.4 fireworks. As for the salutes, you can't by them without a 1.3 permit/licence, there is a lot more involved with 1.3 fireworks as in permits, insurance, transportation, ATF involvement...the list goes on.

It's the size (diameter) of the shell/salute that determines the distance, not the fact that it is a salute. However, per NFPA it is 70ft/inch of diameter. Those were rocking like 3-4" salutes, so they should have been on the back berm at the very least, preferably behind the fence just to be safe. The year before the GPD had a small consumer sized (but not consumer grade) salute fired in volleys on the track, but again it was a smaller diameter and less dangerous.

Tons of work and great job, I would love for a designer to stop following just beats and bumps and include lyrical meaning as well as vocals and true musical interpretation. THIS IS NOT A SLAM, just most incredibly talented pyros just do not have a true musical background. great job to all!
