- Jeanne's last performance was a keynote presentation for the National Speakers Association(NSA) Convention on July 11, 2021 at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Jeanne was a Past President of NSA and a recipient of just about every award given by the association. It is meaningful that her last performance would be at the NSA Convention. Over the years, she delivered many keynotes for NSA, her first at the Phoenix Convention in July 1979.
Her presentation was preceded by Judson Laipply, who did a version of his Evolution of Dance • Evolution of Dance . Judson, good friend of Jeanne and an NSA Member, was the very first RUclips celebrity.
Our beloved Jeanne passed away on August 21, 2021.
No one like this woman on planet earth. Such a gift I really miss her
There is no doubt that this world of ours is a darker place without this lady's sweet light and sense of humor
Yes your spot on.🎉
I first heard her on RUclips yesterday. Stayed up till 3 am in bed laughing worried I was going to wake my neighbors. Closed the kitchen came to bed and while trying find out about her life story saw she lost Left Brain and was so sad to see that she died shortly after. Now I am missing her as if she were a dear friend. I am almost 70 and she made me think about all I might accomplish. She was filled with God's light. RIP Jeanne my kindred spirit.
Her and her husband passing 2 months apart is a strange kind of beautiful. Rest well Jeanne ❤
Happens often and seen their age not really remarkable. But it is beautiful for the simple reason there is not much time to grief for them. There´s just a lot of grieving to do for their families, and that might be extra hard.
Jeannie, you’re going viral again!!! I bless your memory and thank you for all the smiles and sweet laughter❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰
Jeanne being 6 feet myself, I will forever miss your joy for life and for your family. Thank you for all your encouragement to love the life I live. You are the best clean Christian comedian-speaker. Many blessings to you both and your friends and family.
I so love Jeanne and to my sorrow I discovered her very late in her career. So I watch whatever on I find so I don’t miss anything. RIP , Jeanne you are loved!

How sad that I just discovered this precious witty woman tonight. I'm quite sure earths loss is heavens gain.
RIP Funny Lady💕
I still feel like I lost a friend. Rest in peace Jeanne.
Me too.
Yes! That's it I've lost a good friend.
I agree totally.
Such a wonderful lady!!!She will be sorely missed.
When did she pass away???
I feel blessed to have discovered Jeanne's humor several years ago. She will be sorely missed. And one day I will bake that 7Up pound cake in her honor.
My “left brain” made one with her exact recipe. It’s pretty good
Oh yes, one of my favorite stories...left brain went to the store to purchase the ingredients for her as a death had just occurred & the freezer was empty! He bought 1-.…..2-... ...3-... ... etc ending with 7-... ...! I am sitting here typing all over the keyboard because I'm laughing so hard rm'bring this story! God bless Left Brain! He dutifully bore the brunt of many of her stories! Thank you Jeanne for your wonderful sense of humor, & thank you Left Brain for giving her the stories!
😂! 🤣! 😭!
I'd like to think that someone made a 7-up pound cake in her honor when she passed. 😔
@@jackiemassie4264 my spouse made it like 2 weeks after she passed
Where can one find the recipe?
She was the best Aunt I couldve asked for. I come back to watch her videos so that I still have a piece of her.
After my dad passed away I watched her performance on the funeral - I don't recall the name - and it made me laugh. It brought some laughter and smiles to the family at a difficult time. It was great to listen to a comedian without all the vulgar language, and she always made me laugh. I was so sad when I heard of her passing. She will be greatly missed!
Jeanne was truly funny without any crudeness or profanity! A truly gifted lady! Thank you for the laughs🥰♥️🥰
She was brought up to be a lady. She would not be crude.
No

She was a class act and I loved her story telling. RIP - I know she has them laughing in Heaven.

When did she die? I was blessed with the opportunity to see her in 2004 at a convention. She was hilarious!!
I've always watched her on you tube ...when did she die,

Omgoodness I didn't know she'd passed away.
People are Sure going to miss this treasure of a woman. Laughter is exactly what we need now.
Gosh i love this woman!
She is hysterical!
Hard to come to terms with such a life force not being here.
But she's with Left Brain, where she'd probably rather be.
Rest in peace Jeanne and Jerry.
just learning this! Will be so neat meeting her in Heaven...hope she is as hilarious there!!
I didn’t know she passed. When???
I, too, just learn of her passing. I didn't know left brain had passed. I know they must be happy 😊 together ❤ 😄 in heaven. She is busy entertaining Jesus, God and all the people in heaven including the angels. I believe they're blessed being together by God.

I was devastated to read of Jeanne's passing, she has been an inspiration and made me laugh for years. I live in Australia and have never been to Southern USA but her humour has has always been universal. She will be sadly missed, even in Brisbane, Australia.
She was an absolute TREASURE. people from all over the world can identify with her humor.
Did you bow your head after saying "passed". Lol
Wonderful woman whom brought true joy to the world and our lives. The one element we cannot do without but what Jeanne gave without reservation to everyone everywhere. Thank you Jeanne.
Please come visit us in the South. I think you would love it. I live in Texas. Only don't come in the summer because it's way to hot.
Eunice Stone, your comment made me giggle!
I am so happy and slightly comforted knowing that Jeanne got a standing ovation when she arrived and when she left the stage! She left the world a better place in her own little way.
Oh. How fitting. She deserved that!.
@Jay Ess....Just curious....would that be Mississippi? We know people who know people.....(Lance family).
Merry Christmas & a very blessed New Year to you. 🎄⛄🦌

This lady is wonderful on telling the happenings of life in an entertaining way. I will miss her take on family.
Jeanne's wit and humor will be missed. Thank God that we have modern devices that will take us back in time to rediscover her wisdom and humor.
Jeanne is a LEGEND. She has brought me to tears from laughing so hard. On dark days I watch her videos and my spirit is lifted. RIP Jeanne. Continue to keep her family and friends in prayer.
Me too, to tears ! My sides aching!!

I was saddened to hear of her passing. RIP dear Jeanne. I know you are telling stories in heaven !!!
So sad to hear of her passing.
Her shows were uplifting. May God wrap the family in peace and comfort. She was a wonderful lady.
She will be missed by so many.

This is the 1st I heard of her passing. She may be one of the least known National treasures We've ever had the pleasure to have had. R.I.P. Jeanne 🥀💕
This is the first I've seen her! She was indeed a national treasure. Would have lov3d to follow her!!
I just found her yesterday on the internet! I'm so sad she passed, but I will find all her videos. She, her humor, her wisdom will live forever!
She reminds me of my mother! I will pray that they find eachother in Heaven. They will have the best time together!!! ❤❤❤
Jean Robertson got me through COVID!! I have made many of my friends and family watch Ms. Robertson's programs.
Jeanne was like a female version of Mark Twain. Her humor was down home pure. The world lost a little brightness when she passed. Watching her humor on videos again and again reminds us to realize life goes easier when you can see the funnier side of life and become better for it even to the point of being able to laugh at yourself. It is very unlikely we will see another humorist like her for quit a while. Jeanne is sorely missed by many.
The first story I heard of hers was about Left-Brain going to the grocery store to get ingredients for the pound cake. I laughed so hard I cried.

Are you the vet dr from scattercreek.
Same here and loved her ever since💖💖🌹

Oh one of my favorites!
I thank everybody for releasing Jeanne's final performance. It was quite a shock to hear the news of her passing. I am a relatively new fan of hers, only finding her earlier this year. I really enjoyed and loved her. I had plans on treating myself to see her in Clearwater, next May. I enjoyed her pop-ups and the Saturdays on the back porch. She was truly special. She made you like you were part of her family. You were in her house, you met her friends, a real friend. I really miss her. Loving thoughts goes to her son Beaver, the rest of his family and her dear friends.

I will miss her presence in this world and the laughter she made possible!
My mom founder her first and we ended up watching her as a family. My mom passed only a few months before left brain. She would have been devastated. We turned her on when my mom had panic attacks frequently. It always worked. Goodbye to this icon.💚💔🙏
I've been a fan of Jeanne's for many years. I'm so thankful that I found this last performance ❤🥰
I loved Jeanne’s performance’s
This woman is a legend. She is related to me. I only met her once. She and Jerry came to my parents house to play cards. She is just as funny outside of the camera and audience
What a wonderful thing, to have been related to Jeanne. Lucky you. 💕
She is/was always good for “laugh out loud” for someone who rarely laughs aloud!
What a great loss. I’m happy we can still see her. I love laughing with her! We miss you, Jeanne
Beautiful spirit
I miss her.
I cried after watching this. All those stories we'll never hear, the optimism in her voice, only to be taken a month later.
We need people like Jeanne.
We need lots of people like Jeanne. Her stories in her Southern drawl are just awesome. She kept laughter and smiles alive. Her recordings will also, but it just won’t be the same.
Agreed but we’ll always remember the stories she did. My favorite was vanilla milkshakes.
I feel so sad for her son to have lost them both so close together.
I wonder what she died of 😢😢
I noticed she wasn't standing as straight and had a widow's hump. After left brain died I think she gave up.
Yes we sure do. There
Will never be any
One else like her
I miss her. Thank goodness she lives on in these videos. I'll keep watching them to feel close to her.
What a gift she was to this sad world. God Bless.🌺🌺
Jeanne Robertson and Erma Bombeck - two of my all time favorite female humorists.
Sadly they have both left us.. but their humor will remain, thanks to RUclips and their books.
I also loved Erma! When I found Jeanne online I felt her again!
Loved Erma, she was hilarious
I first heard Jeanne on Laugh USA. I had to fight sometimes to keep the car straight I was laughing so hard. I remember reading Erma Bombeck as a teenager and my mother would ask why I was laughing. I would try to read it to her but I would be laughing so hard she couldn’t understand me.
@@donnanewsham4742 Me too, my mom and I really enjoyed her.
Ove both of those ladies. Miss their performances
Oh my goodness! How I miss her humorous stories! Don’t you know she is keeping the people in Heaven in stitches. I am so thankful Patrick and Toni are continuing to upload her speaking in these different venues! What a talent she had in finding the humor in normal everyday situations and sharing them with her followers! I don’t care how many times I watch one of her videos, they never fail to make me laugh out loud!!

Next, I heard the vanilla milkshake story... 🤗
She is brillant
Oh my goodness. With everything going on in her life at the time, she still looks fabulous and keeps us laughing. Sure miss the Beautiful Southern Belle.
She had me in stitches on more than one occasion, especially when her stories hit close to home, having grown up in the South. The tears came from laughing so hard, but they flowed when she passed. Jeanie, you touched so many people over so many years, right up until the Lord called you home. Rest well, good and faithful servant!
David Easterling Yes, she always had me laughing so hard & at a time I needed it so much I found her on RUclips. She was so loved by so many & will be missed by all. I bet she has them all in Heaven laughing too. I know her stories will live on down here, Still keeping us laughing. Love & miss you Ms. Jeanne & Left Brain too; together again. ♥️

It is August of 22 and i am just now able to watch Jeanne again. It hurt too much to watch when she graduated to Heaven. Just like so many others out there, she pulled me through some tough times. What wonderful life she lived bringing so much stress relief to millions
It is hard to miss brillant Heaven graduated like her. Me...I don't live in USA, and I discover her work today together with the fact that she passed already.
(lets put our heads down for a second ;)
It's May '24 and this is the first time I can watch her again since she passed😢
This must have been right before she left us. She mentioned that this appearance wasn’t physician sanctioned. She left roughly two months after, Jerry, so she definitely lived her life fully until the very end. We know this isn’t the end, and we will see her again.
Long-term, really loving couples, often depart this Life, close to one another.
Just over a month before she passed.
I’ve known since I was a child that heaven is going to be a wonderful fun place to live! Now that I’m soon to be 74 yrs old I know that my time is getting closer. My having experienced fun times, sad times, hard times and times of amazing miracles, I know heaven will be better than I could ever imagine. Upon meeting Jeanne, through the internet, about 4 years ago, I know I have an eternity of more fun and laughter ahead! What joy to be able to not only meet Jesus face to face but I look forward to meeting Jeanne and hear many more of her nuggets she will have committed to memory! They say we will have no more tears in heaven but I have my doubts when it comes to Jeanne’s talent of reducing me to tears of laughter! 🤣😂🤣😂 ❤️😘
She was really funny! I was sad when I heard that she passed away. RIP Jeanne. Heaven has received another angel.

What a special lady and outstanding performer. I had the privilege to hire her for two corporate events and she was certainly a big hit with our group. I count it an honor to have had the opportunity to get to know her and see her perform live.
Jeanne looked so poised and beautiful on the stage. I admire her attention to details and her willingness to improve herself and to teach others her craft. I am one of those who learned much from her knowledge and style. RIP
I could not agree more. Prayers to Jeanne's family, friends, and fans. RIP beautiful lady and may God be with all who are grieving. ❤🙏🕊

She reminds me of my Mom, so full of humor and laughter. As Mom and I got older, we got closer. Dad passed away and a few years later, my Hubby passed. Mom lost my one of my brothers to being still born. I lost my daughter to a severe asthma attack. I'm so glad Mom was the personality she was. We were both able to see the humor through the sorrow. It kept us going. I did not know that Mrs. Robertson passed away. I am just now becoming acquainted with her through RUclips, and I love it. I can identify with a lot of the "Ain't it the truth" funny stories that she tells. I wish I had known her to follow her since '79. RUclips doesn't give her the full time like they did in her finalè. Is there any place where I can purchase her recordings? ❤
It is always so refreshing that humor can be clean. It is rare that I hear one of Jeanne's stories that tears are not streaming down my face. Sadly we will not be hearing any more of her stories. Life is so full of surprises and it takes a gem of a women to make those life stories something common to every man and women. A true NC treasure.
I love her so much. She is missed, but her stories will be with us always.
I didn't know she had passed. 😭😭😭 She was truly special and amazing. Feels like losing a friend. Thank you to the Robertson family for posting this. She will be kept in many hearts and minds, including mine.
Thank you to the family for allowing us to watch her last appearence. She will be missed. She was a light that touched so many lives and brought laughter to anyone who listened to her. I tell anyone having a bad day to watch her videos. She helped so much.
My name is Sara-Jane Wilson and my husband is Kirby, I sadly came to Jeanne Robertson about five years ago and I have watched every video she has made. When I found out that Left Brain had passed and then Jeanne a few months later my Heart was broken. She has made me laugh until I was crying with laughter. I felt like she was my Very Best Friend and their will never ever be a Jeanne Robertson. God Bless You and enjoy Heaven with Jerry. You Will Be So MISSED.

Why did you "sadly" come to Jeanne Robertson? What was sad about it? Strange comment.
@@FigaroHey She meant she had gotten to listen to her for 5 years and she is sad that she did not know about her earlier as she loved her and will miss her since she passed away.
Hugs to you, good lady. I appreciate Jeanne, too.
I have been a Jeanne fan for years. I first saw the "viral video" Don't Send a Man to the Grocery Store. I fell in love with her humor and delivery. Jeanne kept me laughing. When "the covid" hit, I started watching every Saturday. My heart was thrilled when Jeanne would pull my question out of the bag and read my name - and even more one day when she was on Jane Tucker's back porch and just casually mentioned my name. Jeanne loved her fans and knew a LOT of their names - she even put some of them in her stories (with their permission) -like Christine and Lee from Tennessee.
I miss my friend.
I did not know until about 2 weeks ago that she had passed away in August. I was very, very sad as I have quietly enjoyed her work from the UK for several years now. As is so often the case, I had planned to write to her and thank her for making me laugh so often but I didn’t act on it and assumed I had forever. There’s a lesson in there somewhere. Jeanne (and Norma-Rose et al.!) entertained me enormously with her back porch shows during the early part of the pandemic - it was a great tonic.
This is the first time I heard of her passing too. I am also from the UK and I absolutely loved her shows, but about a year ago, YT stopped putting them on my suggestions list.
I must search for those I have not listened to.
Such a lovely lady. What a privilege it was for all those who were lucky enough to have been in her family or friends of hers.
RIP Jeannie.
They need to keep cause/suspicion quiet.
How sad! I had no idea... I watched a few of her back porch videos. Jeanne will be missed!
I count on us being able to remedy these considerations someday. 😔
I have enjoyed her stories so much. I will miss her.
Jeannie's death was like the passing of an immediate family member (even though I never met her). My buddy and I stopped by her home in Burlington on Sunday after she passed on Saturday. We were on our vacation to the mountains of NC. Patrick (one of her "bestest" friends) greeted us. He was so kind and understanding to us (who were strangers)! He was devastated as we. Jeannie will forever be part of my life. So untimely was her death! Thanks sincerely for posting this last performance!
So hard to imagine such a lively person as Jeanne, and her beloved husband, Left Brain, both gone, so recently and so close to each other. May they be remembered for all the goodness they brought to us in life.
Jeanne was my folk dance teacher at Judson College in 1972. I have loved her ever since then. And in this I find she was Mac Lipscomb's niece! Mr. Mac and his brother Mr. Lan were instrumental to my husband in pharmacy school at Auburn and were a very important part of our lives there. I look forward to the day when we will see all these saints in Heaven! Thank you for sharing this.
Such a beautiful lady who definitely makes a "statement " wherever she goes. I could listen to her all day. I am sure she passed away from a broken heart after losing her beloved husband. A wonderful gift to the world who will be sorely missed.
