love this place, the sunset was the most beutiful I ever seen, the Bioluminescence expirience was good, but when you are floating, watching the sky, enjoying de thousands of stars that´s magic, it´s priceless.

Holbox is about as laid back of a destination as you will find anywhere in the world!

The cartels know that many people live from tourism, so they agreed to each other to keep Playa del Carmen, Cancún and the touristic zones as a clear zone, this also applies to stop raping, kidnapping and killing. All this stuff does happen around those place but you won't see it. Most of the touristic attractions and hotels are own or shared the investment with cartels and big leage mafia tho
