Is this physically challenging? I don't have great balance, no swimming skills, and fear to jump off a cliff. But I have done other activities in other countries such as hiking, zip lining, water rafting, rappelling and a few others
just got back to the US yesterday and it's exactly what the girl said it's worth the money. we were told by the flight receptionist it's something u must do. we had no plan but to enjoy thr resort.. I am not an adventurous person at all .matter of fact I was crying descending to the closed cenote. but I was glad. I did all the activities even jumping of all the rocks.. the food was amazing and the smoked salmon and the brownies were so delicious. there is turkey roast beef and other subs toppings. also don't get too full cause u need to swim in the last cenote..The people r so friendly and they go at your own pace. not rushing u at all. this is coming from someone in their late forties ans scared to death. my two girls 10 and 15 and my husband's enjoyed this and it was the highlight of our 4 days trip. and I want to to mention our driver Eliot papa Dolphin. I give him 10 out of 10. he was our tour guy and driver. he is funny. adventurous. soo knowledgeable. and over all nice.. the only downside was the price of the picture package. we did not bring phone covers and they have someone take pictures of u throughout each activities. and the price was a little high. $120 for 4 people. so bring a phone cover. water closed shoes. cannot wear makeup and sun blocks. ( it's community water they r trying to keep it as clean as possible). no extra items like sun glasses. u don't need it and no place to put it. u come down one end and come out of another end. book it and enjoy. worth every penny.
from reading the comments...we booked through Expedia. there was an agent at our resort who gave us packages options and we went withcthe cenote after it was mentioned to us at the airport...also I don't think u can drive there and do it on your own. I only saw the green bus. they give u swimming vest in all 4 cenote.
from our agent at the resort. it was around $370. and the tour driver picked us up at 8:50 and they picked up other groups from other close by resorts.. don't worry u have room in the van and my familt actually enjoyed the group. u get to chat with them and they became my cheerleaders when i was afraid of jumping off the cliff. they drop u off around 1730. it's all Dat thing. but there r other activities that r 2 hrs drive.. this specific cenote tour is 30 to 40 min drive..and all 4 of them r 5 to 10 min drive. our papa Dolphin Eliot talked to us and gave us heads up about the next activities...He was our tour guy.
They talk about hands free experiences so in the xenotes you don't need anything. You can leave a change of clothes, etc in the van. You use the same van all day. They provide a mesh bag and towel for the day.
Awesome video!! I understand there are no lockers on this tour. I see by many that water shoes are recommended. What did you video this with (Go pro, Phone)? I would like to know what I will need to bring with on this tour. Thanks
Yes I've been twice in hotel xcaret and I'm going next year to their new hotel, xcaret artes these two hotels are all fun inclusive that means they include food, alcoholic drinks and all their parks like xcaret eco park, xenxes, explore Fuego, xel-ha, cenotes xavage, ect......you will have a lot of fun and you will want to go back.
as long as you know how to swim, its fine. you gotta be able to hang on to a pair of monkey bars for like 10 seconds and you should be able to swim about 250 m. An 85 year old grandma was there with us and she was perfectly fine
You can, but they don't recommend it. You could lose it in the water. They have a photographer following your group and he takes lots of photos of you, including any photos you request him to take. The total price for all photos is like 85 dollars. Worth it because it's a flat rate and you can ask him to take as many photos as you want. Plus you don't have to worry about losing your phone. And his viewpoints will capture way better photos than you.
No. These are private cenotes that are only accessible by the Xcaret group. You have to book through them to gain access. The 4 cenotes are kinda far from each other. You drive to each one separately
Does anyone encounter an alligator or a croc in those cenotes? I've been in hotel xcaret twice and I've been in almost all their parks, but I haven't take the cenotes trip yet cuz I'm scared of the dark water.
Can children come on this tour? My kids are 11 and 8 and not afraid of water or adventure. What is the cost per person? Can this tour be booked through your resort in the Riviera Maya?
Rachel Dela Cruz there were kids in my tour but m not sure what the age limit is I think the 8 year old could easily do it as it’s mandatory to wear life vests at all times. The guide take very good care of you.
These tours have to come up with some better food than sandwiches. Your in Mexico to eat the food of the land, there are no Mexicans eating sandwiches outside the resorts. Where is the chismol, beans, rice, tacos, mole, etc.?
These cenotes are literally in the middle of the jungle, you can't expect them to have a full spread of authentic Mexican cuisine. There are times and places for that, this isn't one of them.
Just did this the third week of January 2022. It was definitely one of the best days of my life. Swimming is a cenote was on my bucket list.
Was the xenotes and xel ha the same park 🤔
🦋🌸♥️👸🏽 The most Beautiful culture I have ever seen 🌸🦋🌸♥️😘😘
I just got back from taking this tour last week. It was amazing and magical and I can’t wait to do it again!

@@eringuerrero3884the van picks you up from your hotel. You can't access the cenotes on your own. They are privately owned by the Xcaret company.

So all this is included when you stay all inclusive Xcaret hotel ?
Yes I've been twice in hotel xcaret and I'm going next year to their new hotel, xcaret artes these two hotels are all fun inclusive that means they include food, alcoholic drinks and all their parks like xcaret eco park, xenxes, explore Fuego, xel-ha, cenotes xavage, ect......you will have a lot of fun and you will want to go back.
Which tours / excursions are you visiting in this video? I'm going next month! ♡
It's the Xenotes park
Went in 2011 and now i see all this is new, sign me up
Is this something youd recommend for individuals around 60 years old or is it too physically intensive?
as long as you know how to swim, its fine. you gotta be able to hang on to a pair of monkey bars for like 10 seconds and you should be able to swim about 250 m. An 85 year old grandma was there with us and she was perfectly fine
how long is this tour?
Do you recommend for people that don’t know how to swim?
They have life vests, you don't have to be a good swimmer to be honest

Were there a ton of mosquitos on this tour?
Depends on the time of year. When I went in November, there were none.
Can you bring your iPhone to take pictures and videos?
