Jumping in to just say, I really only look for your videos for travel now. You are the best to explain every detail I’d like to know, and you’ve just got the voice, and personality that I find so inspiring, and enjoyable. Thank you 😊
I just got back from Holbox and enjoyed watching your video. Great info! Only thing I would suggest is a slightly longer stay. 3 nights in my opinion is the minimum, I was there for 8 nights (part of a 4 week vacation) and thought it was a good amount of time to relax and enjoy the island.
I was there for around 9 days and needed the break after travelling to various towns by bus and hostels and getting away from hurricane warnings etc ! It was a nice island with a good vibe.
I'm coming for 2 weeks on Holbox next May. I hope there's still horses to ride as I'm from Montana and have ridden all my life. I'm so excited and am counting the days. I don't mind a little seaweed. 🌊🌊🌊🐎🐎🐎🏖🌴🌴🌴
OMG…you’re the best! Such a super informative video. I plan on visiting in June for my birthday, and this was everything I needed to know. Short simple and right to the point. Thank you! Definitely subscribing.
Hi! I have very important question regarding the drones. I have read that you cannot fly drone in Mexico if you are not citizen. However I see lot s of videos from tourists flying the drone in Holbox. I really want to bring my drone with me, but not sure how strict are they. Could you advice?
Enjoyed your video..very nice info and great footage! What month did you go there...is it a lot of rain in January on the island? planning to go with family last week of upcoming January ... best regards!
The greatest reason to go to Holbox is to search for whale sharks who come to feed in the summer months… I was there 17 years ago when it was an even smaller “town”… it looks likes it’s grown. 🦈🦈🦈🦈
Question 🙋♀️ are there any medical clinics, doctors, and pharmacies on Holbox? Planning for Feb, but with my condition, I have to be able to access medical care, or at least a pharmacy.
Sounds fun. But I definitely do not consider Isla Mujeres a "mini Cancun." Maybe about a 1/4 mile of Av Rudea Medina right near the ferry. Not sure where you are coming up with that, but other than that, nothing about Isla says Cancun. In fact, I have never gone back to Cancun or anywhere else on main land Mexico on I discovered Isla.
Just arrived to Holbox and I think my expectations were way too high. I don’t know where the turquoise water that I saw in videos and images is but the beaches I found here look like swamps with very murky water nowhere near as the images. Unfortunately very underwhelming
Been to Holbox, and it has to be one of the most overrated locations I have ever been to. The beaches are nothing special, green and murky. The town is a mess and, in parts, a complete rubbish dump. It is far from being an eco-friendly, car-free location. The taxis they use are bigger than most cars in Europe, and there are very large pickup trucks everywhere. There is standing water in the streets, which contains a mix of sewerage and cement. The whole place is a prime example of somewhere which has been damaged by uncontrolled tourism.

Agreed! The more time the better when you're in paradise!
Thank you for that lol. I’m planning a vacation for a week. It seems like small island. You won’t ran out of stuff to do.
Did you find the waste and mosquitoes a problem?

How long does the bus ride from the airport take? (ADO bus and what are the other option ?)
Is there a Mega, Chedraui or Aki on Holbox? We like to cook for ourselves when vacationing in QR.

How was traveling with a drone? Any issues? Any tips? I’m going with a mini
Do you recommend buying the ferry tickets when you get there or pre book? How did you get back? The shuttle picks up at the same drop off location?
I just booked as I went for ferry and it was fine.
I'd sure like to see the other side of the 🏝 island
Would it be best to pre-order the ADO bus from cancun to chiquila? Or are they easy to find and can just anyone hop on?
Either or - if you know your schedule I would pre-book, but we just bought tickets at the bus stations since we didn't know when we'd be arriving

Isla Mujeres is more like a mini Cozumel
