I've been a mechanic for decades. I'd have said it needs a new cover from a yard, if it's a common color you might not have to paint it. I've learned to fix them with heat guns from pro videos but this was very enlightening. Two amateurs in about three minutes? You ladies are great, just going at it, right after it happened too. Thanks for a great video. I wish you were neighbors!
Excellent..a lot better than the heat gun method as you know its not going to overdo it and melt the plastic...but pour the water on first slowly..then get under the car...just worked on mine a treat.. couldn not use the the sink plunger method to suck on over the dent ...but used a rubber coated hammer handle to push it out...thanks girls...its a really wet day here in the tropics in Australia..and thats one job i got done today..looks much better..thanks
Just did this on my niece's car! Two chicks, boiling hot water & a pry bar. Thank you! Your video totally inspired us to give it a try before paying $300.00 to a dent removal guy! You are awesome ❤❤❤
Awesome. Still VERY grateful that you taught me how to fix my wife's window regulator on our van. Now.... I wonder... how well will this work on the dent on the back of our lift gate on our red Town & Country? If I take the interior panel off and carefully disconnect all the wires and use hot water or a VERY careful use of the heat gun (and new body repair suction cups on the outside, with someone pulling the cups) will it work. Hmm??? There is a slight single crease which may not come out but I think the big dent ought to. Perhaps I should wait for the August Virginia heat to help me out. Anyway. Our kids have always been that helpful. I thank God for them every day. Happy and safe New Year to y'all.
One time, many years ago, I had another dent in the rear left bumper. I went to the grocery store one day and left the rear end pointed toward the sun. By the time I came out, the dent was gone! So, it's possible. Although I think your method could work too. Perhaps the biggest key is to keep the heat consistent for long enough. Maybe try that first, without taking the whole back interior panel off, and see if the heat alone makes it work it's way out.
It was cool to see that it works. However. Unless your mother has a dent on herself. I'd highly recommend waiting after the water is poured on the bumper before you go under the car.
OMG, on my dog walk tonight I saw a neighbor's car that has gotten dented in much the same way. It looked like it could be easily popped out and now I know how to do it!!! Can't wait to tell her! Thank you for posting this!!
Great result! I was hoping you would go underneath a bit, and allow us to see. It stands to reason that a strong push should help push it back out. Thinking of using the boiled water was a nice touch. In the 80s, I had a car made of metal, so used the moistened toilet plunger treatment, which worked like a charm. I am not sure if this would work on plastic or not. ,
I backed my old Toyota Tundra knock around truck into my wife’s car in the driveway…if I told you guys what it cost to fix her car you wouldn’t believe me. The headlight alone was 2500….aces
Omgg! Thanks so much! This literally happened today. And I somewhat tried it, it was an epic fail. But what’s to tomorrow! I’m will do it again. ❤❤❤ Until I get it right.
I did this 20 yrs ago on an old Nissan maxima, same type of dent, your daughter still poured too fast and she stayed in one spot instead of side to side slowly. 🤠
Excellent and getting old isn't fun ~ it's not for "sissies" is it !!! I always have my wife put on the serpentine belts. for some reason she gets it without very little effort=play to your strengths excellent video thanks☆☆☆☆☆.
I was amazed & never knew this could actually work! I'm hoping I dont ever get a Dent! But unfortunately I'm so short! God didn't bless me with height! But I always have a tendency to hit Curbs.....UGH! But I'm sure I can get under a vehicle like you did in this video 😂! So I definitely know if I ever do this I Pray to God I don't! But I will be playing the Part of climbing underneath 😆!! I had a friend while back people made fun of her being the only Female in her Class with nothing but all Guys there! When she went to School to become a Mechanic!! I said I wished I had learned I was a single Mother @ that time! My kids has kids now! But @ 1 Point I was always asking my Dad he knew how to work on vehicles he had his own Salvage then! Which played a big role on getting Parts to Fix!! I realized that after having Problems of running over Curbs jk 😂!! But he has Passed since (2021) a while after My Mother (2007)! But back then cars were completely different! I'm sure I don't have to tell everyone that by everyone finding out the hard way 😩! Everything were more Complexed but seemed like in a different way! Not being Computerized like it is today! Which not knowing the things there can be very difficult as well!! All I can say is Great job it proves Women can do it just as well as a Man!! & It shows its about learning!! Which any & everyone is capable of learning & getting the job done!! No matter who!!
Dang, love women who can get down and get dirty, even before it gets wet. 🎉 Great job. You are better than those men out there sweating hell and can't get the job well done like this.
Great job. A hair dryer or heat gun makes less mess. Next time! The sooner you get the dent out the better. The longer it sits the more it forms a memory.
Great job ladies, I have had 2 mechanics tell me it can’t be done, I need a new bumper and one said he will fix for $500. Haha what a load of crock, going to put on a pot of water now at 11:25 at night.
Two CRAZY Chicks!! Boiling water, no safety clothing, gloves - PPE etc.... I was having kittens watching this!! You both are amazing, but there could have been some pretty serious repercussions - scalds, loss of eyesight, crushed "boobs"..... You have never worked in industrial or mining industries, safety always comes first. But 10/10 for your achievements, but please add a warning and safety recommendations.....

This mother and her daughter brought me joy and made me smile. Congratulations! Greetings from Chile.
Thank you for watching! Exciting that you are watching all the way in Chile!

OMG! I needed this for the rear bumper on my car! I'm gonna show this to my hubby and see if he's game to try it!
It was cool to see that it works. However. Unless your mother has a dent on herself. I'd highly recommend waiting after the water is poured on the bumper before you go under the car.
Well done, ladies! Thanks for showing the underside of the crease before repair, as well!
Thank you so much! Worked like a charm. I drive a Jeep Patriot so I was able to reach down through the hood to push the dent under my headlight out.
I tried this yesterday and it worked! Thank you so much for making this video!
Awesome job, so glad it popped right out for you! This is the 2nd of your videos I've found helpful, just subbed. Thank you for the great content 😎
Thanks for the sub!
That was fantastic!! Way to go!!
OMG, on my dog walk tonight I saw a neighbor's car that has gotten dented in much the same way. It looked like it could be easily popped out and now I know how to do it!!! Can't wait to tell her! Thank you for posting this!!
Just curious did your neighbor try it, and did it work?
Great job ladies!!!!
Great teamwork 👍🏻
Amazing #❤❤ This is a healthy core memory for both mom and daughter ❤❤
I did the same thing but in the side door! Used hot water and a toilet plunger! Worked like a hot dam. and before hubby got home

,
I would have tried that if I couldn't push it from behind. Not sure I would have gotten a good seal on it though
You girls are extremely talented . We want to know more such trickes so please keep them coming
0:26 I need someone with her humor in my life
Great job, ladies ❤
Thanks for giving us your time DuuuvvvaaL county Jax FL USA 💞❤️
Great job from the UK🇬🇧
Team work makes the dream work 👏👏👏👏
That was great. Would love to see how you fix and paint or scrapes if you plan to do that yourself too ☺️
This car is 12 years old, so I doubt I will do too much with the paint.
Thank you I will definitely try this method ❤
Excellent job!
Wow, I'm impressed: good job 👍😅!
Wow, just wow. Do you realize how much money you saved for yourself but for others as well!?!? Cry in your coffee, auto body repair shops...
Well, there are still scratches. But definitely less noticable without the dent
I backed my old Toyota Tundra knock around truck into my wife’s car in the driveway…if I told you guys what it cost to fix her car you wouldn’t believe me. The headlight alone was 2500….aces
@@hokie9910😢
They would've charged her $2,500+ and most likely would have done the same thing.
What did he use
Great job! I'm going to try a heat gun, because the water is going to freeze on the ground here in the winter :)
what a legend, well done here from UK
Thank you so much
Does this only work on plastic parts or will it also work on the metal parts?
Muchas Gracias,well done!!
You can use a tea cattle to better cover the dented area.
Works 10/10 thanks!
Omgg! Thanks so much! This literally happened today. And I somewhat tried it, it was an epic fail. But what’s to tomorrow! I’m will do it again. ❤❤❤ Until I get it right.
You need to use a kettle to pour hot water, in that way you can control the flow
Thank you
I have seen that done with a heat gun, but you risk damaging the paint. Your idea seems to work better. 😊
Trying this now on my Tacoma! Thank you for the video :)
Did it work be honest
@@Black_Numba1 I think he is still boiling the water
@@UtubeAdviser I was able to get the dent out by hitting it from the inside doe but not with plunger and water.i hit it after the plunger and water.
I did this 20 yrs ago on an old Nissan maxima, same type of dent, your daughter still poured too fast and she stayed in one spot instead of side to side slowly. 🤠
drill a small hole through wheel arch liner then gently push out with something
That was awesome! Thanks!
Nice work, came out great.
Great Job!
I HIGHLY advise having a support under the car. Hope there's something wedged under front wheels to prevent forward motion. This operation is scary.
Excellent good idea👍

Thank you for the kind words!
I am wondering can you repair without the boiling water?
Such a wholesome video
Great❤ we tried, really worked well 🎉
I have the same car and someone hit me and took off.l thought about trying this.l will definitely give it A try.Awsome video.
Jajajaja 😂 good work . Bless you from Mexico

How do we make this go viral?..... I'm not on social media.....DIY Queen. You've got me beat with that one
Great job people!
Why didn't you try the plunger after the boiling water?
My daughter mentioned that, but I didn't think we would be able to get a good enough seal for it to work.
Dang, love women who can get down and get dirty, even before it gets wet. 🎉 Great job. You are better than those men out there sweating hell and can't get the job well done like this.
Dad said nahhhhh bye
LOL, he would have helped if I asked.
Wow that's awesome. Now I'll try mine
Great job. A hair dryer or heat gun makes less mess. Next time! The sooner you get the dent out the better. The longer it sits the more it forms a memory.
Who run the world‼️Girls🥰🥰lol Thanks so much for the inspo
Very entertaining!
Thanx for the vid I'm about to do this now

Nice, but I tried that this morning n still have a dent. I only used the hot water once tho . Thanks
Did you try it again and did it work?
wow. You did it.
Yeah Go Mom You Girls Are Awesome❤
Nice. Why didn’t you try using a plunger from outside!?
Hay Dad , when was the last time mom wiggled on the ground like that lol
I just love this. I swear we are sisters. I would totally do this.
Que buen tema lpm 🔥
Awesome thank you it work
Good day master I'm new here I'm from Ghana
Great job. New sub here
Heck yeah, just saved my outta town friend a heart attack, he got rear ended while visiting and we popped it out with a buff and g2g
Late to the party, but that was awesome!
I just successfully did this on a Suzuki swift in the UK
Girl Power 💪🏽
😎 job 🎉
I back into my sons truck I have a little dent I'm going to try that method
This is awesome
Pour it first slowly and then push it with your hand
Astonishing
For some reason Im getting early 2000s vibes, watching this video.
Wow❤, ill mine just now 😂
that was great, I think your daughter favors you
It's dangerous going under a car, can get your chest tightened by the weight of the vehicle
How about a toilet plunger???
Couldn't get a good seal with a plunger.
good very good...
This is like two girls & a cup
CANT BELIEVE SHE'S UNDER WHEN YOU POWER BOILING WATER OVER !
I wasn't directly in the path - it just looks like I was
Blow dryer.
this is actually much easier with a plunger.
Maybe, and I might have tried it if pushing it from behind didn't work. I'm not sure I would have been able to get a good seal on it though
Nice
Thanks!
Fact or What? 😂😂😂
