Full Bamboo Scaled Model

This is a mini-tour through the HUST-Anji bamboo scaled model (1:10) during its construction. It was crafted in 3 weeks and it's made out of bamboo only. The full model covers an area of almost 2 sqm. You can seat a baby on it, without a problem. Model-making is best for bamboo design, but for organic shapes, we better also calculate them through FEA Finite Elements Analysis.

Incredible that you guys took such a great idea and couldn't spend 10 minutes on the design of the "concrete" blocks that would work as anchor points. A real shame.
