So I read The Only Good Indian and was absolutely blown away by it. I wanted to read MHisC but there were enough negative reviews that I changed my mind. But it keeps popping up on booktube. I didn't know it was part of a trilogy, so now I'm really interested.

I liked Chainsaw more than Indians. Mongrels is still my favorite SGJ book, so far.

Glad you loved it. This is my favorite of the trilogy. Angel of Indian Lake is certainly worth a read because it’s the culmination of Jade’s journey but, as for it’s individual plot, it’s the weakest of the three (and it’s not close). More time spent with Jade is always time well spent, however.

Jade is a character that I’d like to have seen carry on for many more books.

Don’t Fear the Reaper really is shaping up to be the SCREAM 2 of the trilogy where Angel doesn’t touch the humor of Scream 3 but the intensity level. Less than 2. Less than 1. And 2 is more than 1.

I've not read this author, but I may have to check him out. You highly recommended Robert McCmmon when you opened The Seven Shades of Evil. I read Swan Song and was very pleased. I also can't forget about Tyler Jones that you recommended last year. Both are amazing authors, but I have so many unread books yet?
What would you recommend for a start on S.G.J?

I think the sure bet for a Stephen Graham Jones book would be Mongrels. That was the first one I read, and I loved it. I haven’t loved every book of his that I’ve read, but I’ve loved more than I didn’t.
