This book looks terrific. I almost bought it before summer on ebay but then seller refund me and told me they didn’t have it anymore. It’s too bad because I got it at a pretty good price also otherwise! Maybe I should try again!

I love Burnt Offerings! This is one of those rare times when i actually like the movie better than the book. I do like the book too though. I have the older hardcover, first edition, had it for a long time. Im glad that's not your kitchen, it's ugly. 😂😂🤣📚

Unfortunately for me, I have to use the Kindle or Google Play for my books. I was in a life-altering accident in 1989. It left me in a wheelchair for life, unable to use my hands. I can't walk either. How am I typing to you, you ask? I'm using the Force. Haha! No. It's a program named Tobii Dynavox. It follows my eyes. I have an onscreen keyboard.

I haven’t read the Geishas book but have read Homer…way back in the 70’s in school and parts of it again in college. I haven’t read the geishas book.

Great video! I considered brodart years ago for my books and ended up deciding not to. Now you have me thinking it might be worth it. If I could ask one question: Have you ever seen people use clear tape on the inside or does the plastic wrap just stay on because as it sits over time it gets fitted and formed to stay on?

Tim, you're correct about the plastic protecting the dustjacket, but I just can't use them. The feel of a book in my hands is wonderful and admiring the dustjacket art without a shiny barrier is a must for me. Of course, I always remove the jackets before reading so as to not smear them with my greasy hands! Some new books have protectors already installed from the publisher, and I keep those on, being how I received them. I respect you for taking the time and money to protect your collect how you deem fit. Either way, I may use this video for future use if I would make an exception for a book. Actually, I did suggest to Jerad a protector as an extra option to be offered. That Ghost Story dj being protected didn't bother me too much, especially since I'm not going to reverse it.

Have you ever read Burnt Offerings by Robert Marasco, Tim? That’s a very good “haunted house” story.

These are indeed utterly gorgeous! Only issue is it's not the complete canon of Sherlock Holmes. Still, I think the Amaranthine Books editions compete with the Folio Society editions for the best quality editions of Sherlock Holmes! The Folio Society editions are complete though.

I’m hoping I have time to head to B&N Wednesday to pick up that exact copy of Home Is Where the Bodies Are. It’s not available online but it says in stock at store. Sucks it’s not a dust jacket but that cover is too sweet! Good haul as always!

I have the book…same cover dust jacket but cloth bound. No tray case and got it from ebay not long ago. I’m still reading Queen Of Bedlam! Congrats on your purchase. I’ll have to see if mine has illustrations.
