Thank you for listening! You might also enjoy Tournemire's sixth symphony, a Mahler-scale choral symphony that one could consider his symphonic magnum opus: ruclips.net/video/K_2T7QW5EjQ/видео.html And feel free to check out my own music as well :)
Like that of many other excellent composers, I think Tournemire's orchestral music was simply forgotten after his death - he was "just another composer". On the other hand, he's still quite well remembered as an organist, due to holding one of the most important positions among French organists during his life; in addition, his contributions were pivotal for the organ repertoire.

thanks pranav!
I arrived here via Dave Hurwitz, and glad I did.
Great new musical discovery, and now to explore your channel 👍
It seems a soundtrack for an American movie of the 40's and 50's. A brilliant but forgotten page of the symphonic repertoire.
Indeed! Check out his later symphonies as well (I've uploaded all eight on my channel), fascinating mystical works
Terrific symphony, probably my personal favourite. Though his 6th isnt far behind. Love to see these scores.
Really loving your videos and discovering all of these composers I’ve never heard of. Thank you!

It is a famous composer, but for organ.
I’d never heard of this before Dave Hurwitz - why is this not in the Standard Repertoire?

Finally!!!
The first and second symphonies will be coming soon! (I hope)
fantastic! Thank you!
This score had to influential for John William's soundtrack SPACECAMP.
