My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.
The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.
I totally agree; I am 66 years old, recently retired, with approximately $1.2 million in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, I didn't do all this alone, but with the help of a financial advisor. Having one is currently the best way to trade in the stock market, especially for people nearing retirement.
Finding financial advisors like Melissa Terri Swayne who can assist you shape your portfolio would be a very creative option. There will be difficult times ahead, and prudent personal money management will be essential to navigating them.
There's a big difference between a good company and a good stock.
Thank you every time, Paul. I have learned a lot from you! Thanks!
You are welcome my man - GC
Wow you think this clown knows what he is doing? Do you not follow his recommendations they are terrible. He cherry picks stats. Google is the cheapest of the biggest companies right now. 😅
The longer I invest, the more I appreciate this channel. Thanks Paul for the quality content!
Very kind of you to say. I appreciate it. This is Paul. Happened to catch your message. - PG
As far as I’m concerned MSFT and GOOGL are 2 of 6-8 companies that you have to have in your portfolio. It’s fine to overpay for them. If you know you’re overpaying make sure you have funds to buy more if it drops. Not owning is a mistake. Sometimes they just don’t pullback and you never get the opportunity to own.
Absolutely...long term play for revery portfolio - GC
I prefer V, hope that’s in your 6-8. It has a premium, but I’d argue better value than google or Microsoft right now, due to more people watching those two.
These are only two stocks in my portfolio
Buying more INTEL stock!
Best of luck to you .AP
Thank you EM for this video !! Listening to you over here on the big island of Hawaii🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Thanks for listening! AP
Intel is dead. They aren't coming back. They dont have the tech, and they're too far behind to catch up. This is the issue when you only look at the numbers and dont understand products. Nvidia all the way. 🚀🚀
I sold 150 shares for 200 dollars a little over a year ago. It hurts so bad right now’s.
I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.
I work with Camille Anne Hector. Investing with her has been a different ball game entirely so different from the stale methods of managers I’ve worked with in the past. last year was my best ever because I'm over 1m which I really never thought I could reach at the start of the year.
I started buying NVDA in the 2022 Bear Market. I bought several stocks at discount, and becauae i was smart when others have panicked, i now dont need to work and i can do this fulltime.
Recently, people were talking about AMD like this, then they released Ryzen.
right now im binging on google and apple because they are the only fairly valued companies
Good choice - GC
You are such an under rated channel man. Keep up good work.
Thanks, will do! - GC
He isnt - He is mostly off on tech. INTC is dead and only propped up by those wishing the stock will turn around. Chips are exploding. Intel isnt recovering and it will not. They lost their way a long time ago and are slowly dying a death. His silly tool implys potential - when he runs his tool on NVDA and AMD you get lower values,

why does paul like QQQ more than VGT? QQQ has twice the expense ratio

PAUL: How about analyzing some new companies? EMN, JCI, CRM, ADBE, LMT, TMO, GS, MU, TT and the like....
We do in the software ! AP
Intel gets 8.5billion in direct funding from the US taxpayer and still must guide down? Can’t capitalize on the AI boom while NVDA crushes it, and AMD turns it up, as well. They are attempting to compete with Taiwan semi’s foundry service? It’s sad. They should have NEVER fallen this far. For a long time, I thought they would regain their former glory. This ship is still taking on water even with the taxpayer bailing them out! That said, I have maintained a very small position, because I can’t believe that management of a company that has the name recognition of Intel can’t figure out how to fix the damn thing. If I weren’t already in, I’d avoid this thing like the plague.
NVDA is far from crushing it😂
Just cause stock price goes up does not mean they are doing good.
Guess what they will also get 10 billion from the German Taxpayer for their Foundry in Germany
Cool...tx for sharing - GC
They haven't gotten any money YET..infact they lost funding from dod. Also tsmc is also getting similar amounts as Intel for their USA plant
Everyone remember, Google was dead when ChatGpt came out. Idk what the bears were thinking...
I know...like GOOG wouold just step aside - GC
I cut some of my google position. I still think it was the right decision. Lets not act like there's no risk to Googles search. currently 10% of searches are now done with LLMs. This will only grow.
@@JPHolling Never bad to take a profit, but LLMs don't warrant enough of a threat in the foreseeable future for me to have cut my google position at all. Let's not act like google doesn't have the same/similar cards up their sleeves with LLMs and plenty of consisten cashflows to subsidize being "late" if they were. As many claimed during peak chatgpt fears.
@@ImBeneficial They are late. and they haven't built the infrastructure. Also lets not forget their current models with obvious issues of just ignoring historical facts to seem more inclusive. They were a top 3 holding of mine and I dropped them to 8. It will be an interesting couple of years.
INTC at 19.99 feels crazy with an estimate with a Revenue Estimate of 81.38 Billion in 2027. Market Cap currently is 82B.
intel earnings update?
PYPL and TOST. Biggest upside and acquisition potential (hyper-growth). You’re welcome
Thanks for sharing - GC
Toast is nothing sexy like AI and you wouldn’t think an all encompassing POS/processing system would makes waves in an already legacy sector, but the “stickiness” and love of their services is apparent with staff, managers, and owners of restaurants across the country. Restuarants with contractual obligations with Lightspeed, Square, Four Payments, Clover, and NCR, all move to Toast. Just something to watch out for. Remember, Amex acquired Resy when no one thought it was just another reservation system (but the data they provide across the food & liquor industry is invaluable).
Happy I bought more Google when the stock dipped on the woke ai nonsense 😂
Good stuff - GC
Or you could dollar cost average in you favorite companies longterm?
Yes you could do that too .But what if you are wrong , on you valuations .AP

@@CorporateShill66 Yeah, and Paul was close to buying Google under $100, and admitted he missed it.
I remember him recommending it back when it was in the $80 range a bit over a year ago, when I bought for $86, wewf that went up a lot fast.
QQQ VS VOO whats better long term play?
I don't know , that's a personal choice .AP

Why playing intel if I can buy nvda on a dip
Why not both? Intel is a great long-term bet imo.
@@vegbeg9170 it is a bet exactly but not a good solid investment.
@@vegbeg9170 intel is literally worst company to invest in lol. They are literally declining during an era when the chip business is EXPLODING. Not only are they declining..... they are unprofitable!!!!!! they are losing billions of dollars on declining revenue!! absolutely stay away from this company
Strategy - GC
I agree, INTEL is a great long-term bet!
I always laugh when people say Intel needs to come up with ways to raise that revenue. Apparently those 3 foundries they are building are just for making popcorn.
Popcorn? I thought I’d was all a psyops so people could keep making articles and news reports on it, ya know the REAL MONEY media.
You are not wrong , am not fully aware if they finish building , and started producing , but if this goes well , they will do good , if not , well might be done for .AP
Would love a look at CVS, back around $67 a share

When will alibaba start moving from 70’s ??
stop it... i dont understand the hate i think even paul entered the investment with a potential that the stock will be flat for next year
China is unpredictable. No idea why he's hyping BABA over Tencent, though. The latter has been going back up, and has virtually everything you could want in a stock, at a low valuation.
Try to forget to look for a year
Whenerver the stock is ready....no one knows - GC
nobody knows. Its hard to predict that considering whats going on in china. its going to take patience with this one
Did Mo quit?
No hes in Florida .AP
Any thoughts on China's plan to "Reunify" with Taiwan and effects on INTC? It becomes a national security matter at that point.

I feel paul you should put PE for top 50 company higher, like 30, since that's the norm now
It was the norm for companies to have PE of 50 and higher in the year 2000 and you know what happened next, right?
