Marcus King introduces his Orange signature model MK ULTRA
The Marcus King MK Ultra Created in conjunction with guitar phenomenon and Grammy Award nominated singer/songwriter Marcus King, the MK Ultra is our first-ever Amplifier designed and built in the USA. Using the highest quality components available, including American-made custom Heyboer transformers, this hand wired 30 watt all-valve guitar amplifier represents a marriage of classic vintage American and British tonal sensibilities. Make no mistake though, this is not a copy of any previous vintage design with some slight modifications. This is a completely unique design that offers a new approach to the classic Orange sound.

Im a Marshall guy thru and thru, but, this is a phenomenal sounding amp, especially to be so minimalistic in the features. Really cool circuitry design that the "sing" acts as a treble booster ahead of the volume and the "deep" acts as a tone thickener behind the volume, rather than just treble and bass in a normal EQ preamp.
Very potent sounding for 30w! The price tag is a lil harsh however lol but it IS American designed and built which is awesome

Met Marcus King at a gig recently, great guitar player. He truly plays with so much heart and soul, happy to see Orange recognizes that too and worked with him on a signature amp! Just one thing, is there a clean channel?? Or do you just roll back the volume on the guitar to clean it up?

Ive been waiting over a year to see this thing and I feel like orange USA set Marcus up to fail with this amp. 3 knobs on a 3300.00 amp that only a few people will buy. And you released it the day after taxes were due? Come on guys. Ade Elmsly is probably laughing at orange USA right now. Marcus’s fan base is smart enough to know a rocker terror 15 with a couple pedals will make the same sound at less than a 1/3 the price. This amp is priced in the professional player’s range and those guys aren’t looking for signature amps. They’re trying to develop their own signature sound. A terror series like the Brent hinds or Jim Root would have been a much more plausible option for guys really trying to capture the MK sound like myself. This amp is a big swing and a miss for me.

6l6 30 watt Orange Amp made in USA for €3k! Interesting. Similar to Orange Custom Shop 50 I wonder but with 3 controls and 6L6’s. Didn’t know Marcus, a blues artist was an Orange amp user. What amps was he using before this? Fender/Marshall?

MK Ultra is such a cool name. Not sure if this was intentional, but project MK Ultra was the code name for CIA's clandestine experiments in the 50s-70s where the US Govt tried to harness the powers of mind control and which ultimately led to the introduction of LSD in the US. I realize MK is Marcus King's initials as well as a strain of weed too. All in all, what an epic name for an amp. Props to Marcus and Orange. Hopefully the amp is as cool as the name.
