I have been meditating and reading many books by Paramhansa Yogananda including a translation of the Bhagavad Gita and hope to learn and practice Kriya someday. Kriya Yoga cannot be learnt online, and must be learnt in person from teachers authorized by the Gurus. There are many Kriya Yoga ashrams and centers across the world. Please check out the location page on www.Kriya.org and find a center you can travel to

Kriya techniques are not documented in books and other media. One has to go thru the process of initiation and learn the techniques from a teacher in person, remember and practice. www.kriya.org
You learn by initiation. Contact the centers and look for an initiatiin you can attend.

The thing hard for me is patience. So when yogis speak, they are never in a hurry and I lose patience. It is my problem, not theirs. I have to work on that if I want to attain another level of myself. Imagine how wonderful it would be if most people were on a similar path of trying to attain a much higher level of knowing, of feeling, of being, of not being. Is politics necessary? Are governments necessary? I don't know. I know nothing, really. Does it matter? Is it enough to search? Do we have a chance to attain the highest possible of ultimate bliss even if we do not know anything? Keep on learning and talking.
Just breathe.

Hard to overcome I stayed half year in a Buddhist monastery in Taiwan it helped I still struggle with patience
Take your time... go fast, go slow, try hard, don't try, you have to go through this journey in all the shapes and forms your soul desires, and eventually the patience you seek, you will realise, in truth, you already have and always did. This is to say.... just be... keep being, worry not of yesterday or tomorrow and simply be. Eventually all things are realised. You are loved, you are love and we are all that same love. God bless you, you are already perfect 🙏🏾

And, what if i can't find any Gurú nearby?

I can't travel to India, or USA, or any country right now, so that kriya yoga is nothing but a mirage, an ilusion on the dessert, always on the horizon line, something that doesn't help at all
Gonzalo, the Creator knows the desires of your heart ♥. All that is required of us is that we strive to do what is right, be merciful to others and walk with a humble heart before our God. In the meantime we can prepare ourselves for what we anticipate.
We need not be enlightened to discipline our lives so that the blessings of life are the necessary consequences. We can do only the things which are life enhancing and
life transformitive. And as they say, when the student is ready the teacher appears. Moreover, you might ask yourself questions like, is my diet a healthy diet, do I have proper eliminations, am I getting the proper rest, or am I balancing rest with the proper exercise? Moreover, until you do find a teacher who can initiate you, you can practice resting in the silence for 20 or thirty minutes a day. If you do this continually your mind will come under your control automatically without even having to be initiated into some technique. So, you see, Gonzalo, all is not lost; the same God who is in your Guru is also in you right now even as I text this message.

Can you practice Kriya Yoga without a Guru ? I live in a western society and Kriya Guru's may not be present. I've been practicing Paramahansa Yogananda's book on Kriya yoga without any guru initiation.
Google kriyayogainternational. On the website look up the event near where you live. Look for an initiation retreat Because of COVID, you may have to check back a few times but I am sure you can find one near you in the next year. If you are initiated at an initiation retreat, this guru will be your guru. The blessing of a lifetime.

You can search for videos and techniques on RUclips . They are lots of them
@@nivla6607 hmm NO. Kriya is not something you can practice looking at videos and books. Please do not misguide people. One has to be initiated first and then learn the techniques, remember and practice. There is no substitute for initiation at the time of which some energy from the teacher is infused into the student.
There are many lineages of Kriya. You can find someone in WB or you can visit Prajnana Mission website for more information on Kriya yoga as taught by Baba and Shri Gurudev Baba Hariharananda ji.
