Just wondering because many crystals can't go in water...learned that the hard way...Are you just using regular salt? I use black and pink sea salts and place satin spar sticks(sold mostly as "selenite'...real selenite is rare and hard to come by but is absolutely beautiful) all around the crystals and salt and just found this ...so look like there's going to be a new addition to the routine 🙂✌💛🙃

Once a week you can cleanse your black obsidian. You have a few options using sage, salt or sound to cleanse the negative energy. The frequency of the sound bowls helps calibrate the crystals back to their original frequency, you don't need to do anything other than set your intentions and allow the frequencies to do their job. After the crystal is cleansed, you can express gratitude for the cleansing.
the vibrations and frequencies help to kind of reset the vibrations of your crystals! I read somewhere that it’s the only science backed theory abt crystals or something but that might be wrong 🤣 if you place your crystals by a speaker and play this or something with high vibrations on it and you can feel the vibrations yourself when you touch the speaker or the surface it’s on then you can put your crystals near the speaker and it kind of charges it! ofc it’s better to have the bowls bcos of the range of frequencies and it’s a better experience but for the ppl who can’t this works too!
