Many bands have tried to mix traditional music with modern music, and it rarely works. Wagakki Band is somehow able to create a fusion of modern rock and metal with thousands of years of traditional Japanese music. And they do it seamlessly. It also helps that many of them are considered "masters" of their instruments in Japan. Hey Angie, never stop yourself from feeling the power of music. That's what music is supposed to do - connect us with memories and feelings. Much respect Angie - keep being you!

This song is inspired by the covid situation. The original video is animation depicting people from different side of the world, their common lives and feeling. The song is meant to be optimistic, but i cannot help but get this dramatic feeling from it. Also Yuko's voice can make you cry any time. Yes i know Angie wasn't crying exactly because of that.
On the contrary of previous comments, their ballads are AMAZING! It's just they have plenty of joyful music too, catchy, pop, or bad ass rock performances. The band is willing to explore any genre.

Welcome back Angie!!!! You were missed. I love the traditional instruments mixed with the modern instruments. This band is very interesting and thanks for introducing me to it. Rollen has been holding down the fort while you were gone and was very entertaining, as usual. This song forces you to feel but that is ok.

Sorry it hit you in the feels that hard. Homura would be a better song for Angie because it’s higher energy with solos on the bass, guitar and the one she noticed. Great reaction and song. 🕊🚌⏸⏸⏸❤️‍🔥🎼🎵🎶🎸🥁🎤❤️‍🔥

Tu no escuchas la banda verdad?? Solo has visto las 200 reacciones a Homura, Homura y Akatsuki no ito son distintas, las tocaron en vivo juntas porque son canciones cortas.

If she loves Amy Lee... you HAVE to watch Bring Me To Life... from the same show as this... They play Amy's song... with Amy... and the traditional instruments. It's the best thing I ever heard, I get goosebumps every time.

Again this isn't all that representative of Wagakki Band's range, the Amy Lee collaboration whilst pleasant enough, kinda clipped the band's wings a little and dropped the tempo & energy a fair bit. I'd recommend the following live video of "Kishikaisei" from 2017 for something that shows off all the instrumentalists.

This is another song I would not recommend. You are missing all the good songs. I feel like anything with Amy Lee in it, ruins it for me. If you have Yuko Suzuhana singing, you don't need anyone else up there. The only exception to this would be if Yuko wants to sing together with Asami from Lovebites... then I would be all for that! Stop letting the algorithm choose the song. You need to do: "Sun Wheel", "Sasameyuki", "Homura + Akatsuki No Ito", "Reload Dead", "Aria of Life", "Senbonzakura", "Yoshiwara Lament", and "Hakushu Kassai".

Well said about Amy Lee. Particularly with the dreadful Bring Me to Life collaboration. You would think after all these years of singing the same song she would be able to make a decent stab at it.

I think several of us have listed several video links that truly showcase Great Wagakki Band performances. Hopefully they will check them out as it takes lots of time to type all the replys with one finger on a phone. lol

Basically a repeat of CyberMantis's comment. You will get recommended the Wagakki Band and Amy Lee, singing Bring Me To Life. As someone who is only slightly musical, i can only ask you do not choose the song. It makes my ears bleed to hear Amy Lee, struggle to hit the notes and match Suzuhana's singing. Here is a good song from the Wagakki band to watch: ruclips.net/video/BSDzyP-2LbA/видео.html
