I've found out about Wagakki Band couple months ago and now these guys are my newest favorite musicians. Because of them I discovered the wonderful sounds that's coming from shakuhachi, koto, shamisen, and wadaiko... I adore Yuko' shigin, and honestly fell in love with shamisen Beni... Greetings from Indonesia

This is such an amazing blend of traditional japanese instruments and musical stylings that's still very evident in the tune and Suzuhana's singing, with a metal sound and AMy lee's unmistakeable goth influenced vocals. 🤌 Not to mention the clever Simon&Garfunkel style interspersed 2 seperate lyrics. Also, that Shamisen intro...dang

I've seen concerts with mosh pits (Babymetal) and others with people waving and jumping and cheering (Sound Horizon, etc.), but they do culturally maintain the respect of not using phones and giving coordinated responses, which can be helpful to actually hear the entire performance the performers intended to communicate, and not distract others with recording on phones and the like.
I admire how they managed to fuse such iconic aspects of each style, merging them in a beautiful masterpiece! So glad to be alive in the same time as these amazing artists

And flowers fly away to reach to you beyond the ocean…”, “I will find you again!!” This will be the source of goose bumps, I guess…
Such an incredibly talented group of people. Every instrument is amazing and the voices...can't even put it into words. This band with a western orchestra and Evanescence is my music heaven

What a singer Yuko is. I am sometimes blown away by her talent.
I really prefer yuko hitting high notes with full voice like this 1:32 instead of her falsetto.
