Her vocalization comes from the traditional Japanese singing style of "Shigin". So it may sound different from so-called Japanese rock and pop music. I think that is one of the reasons why it is in harmony with Japanese musical instruments

Welcome to the world of Wagakki Bands
Senbonzakura is a Vocaloid cover by Hatsune Miku. Although Hatsune Miku is a virtual person, she has given a number of live concerts in Asia and London.
This is from WagakkiBand Premium Symphonic Night Vol.2 Live & Orchestra in Osaka-Jo Hall February 2020. One nigh show only. The acoustics in Osaka-Jo Hall are very suitable for orchestra, so they held the concert there even though WGB is in Tokyo.
Evanescence vocalist Amy Lee joined WagakkiBand as a special guest. The song before this they performed "Bring me to life" where Amy Lee and Yuko sing it as a duet.
Machiya (the guitarist) said in an interview that the first two years were trial and error before they figured out how to do it.
WGB constantly puts together big shows, One of Japan's most popular bands at the moment. Everyone is professional on their instruments, All songs are good, no one is equal, Metal, rock, jazz, ballads, funny songs, sad songs, etc.
WGB is an 8 piece band:
Yuko Suzuhana - Shigin, vocals (Founder of WGB)
    Machiya - guitar, vocals (Arrangement)
Beni Ninagawa - tsugaru shamisen (Three strings (guitar looks like))
Kiyoshi Ibukuro - koto (Japanese National Instrument)
    Asa - bass
Daisuke Kaminaga - Shakuhachi (Bamboo Flute)
    Wasabi - drums
Kurona - wadaiko, Taiko (Traditional Drums)

I red about after the video was filmed. Thanks for the info.
As I understand, Asa, the bass player is a Vocaloid producer also.
      Anyway, fuckin' very good band.

Amy Lee was in another song of the same concert. Japan has so many great bands. Wagakki band, Band-Maid, Lovebites, and many more! I hope you do more of them and try out some Band-Maid live.

And let's not forget Glim Spanky. To me they are so good at the classic rock/blues genre. Remi's vocals are just astounding, sort of a mix of Janis Joplin and Grace Slick, and Hiroki's guitar work is stellar.

"Wa" of Wagakki Band means "unique to Japan" and "Gakki" means "musical instrument".
The Japanese musical instruments they use have been modified, such as increasing the number of strings, to match the Western scale.
The Wagakki Band is made up of top-notch musicians who agree with Yuko Suzuhana's (vocal) idea of "I want to convey Japanese classical performing arts to the world in a more pop atmosphere."
The first thing they did was to make a cover album of Vocaloid songs. The members were reluctant to use vocaloid songs that did not consider humans playing and singing, but Yuko Suzuhana forced the project.
When the music video for the song "Senbonzakura" recorded in the completed first album "Vocalo Zanmai" was uploaded, it attracted attention not only from Japan but also from all over the world. Currently, the music video for "Senbonzakura" has been played 150 million times and has become their representative song.
WGB ended its contract with Avex in June 2019 and signed a global contract with Universal Music. After that, please note that any MV owned by Avex other than live video will be blocked if you use it as it is.

      thank you for your reply.
If you are interested in the chanting method of Shigin, there is a video in which Yuko Suzuhana himself gives a lecture on how to sing "Senbonzakura".
It's explained in a very unique way, so it may be helpful.

      I have another favorite band.
As you may already know, it's a female metal band called LOVEBITES. Check out "Swan Song," a perfect blend of their metal and classical music.

I think you guys would enjoy the entire concert. It is done to perfection, from the Overture, where Yuko does an outstanding job on vocals and piano, straight through to the end of the concert. The show also has some of the best acoustic performances I've ever heard. Overall, there is nothing to complain about in this symphonic concert. And if you enjoy Yuko's use of shigin, check out the video of Sabaku No Komoriuta from this concert, it is the most beautiful song I have ever heard, it echoes through your mind.

You guys need to check out Sakura Rising (right there in the end thumbnails). Great blend of not just instruments and vocalists but styles and languages as well and a great concept, right out of 2020 distancing. Also lets you hear Yuko and Amy together in a more substantial duet.
I loved the tiny bits of info. Makes the reaction worth it. Thank you!

@@soundland.channel ok i did. Here is what you should do if you wanna been blown away ! I give you a small list of doubleheaders live and its on you what to hear first. "Kyoukasuigetsu" + "Tsukini sakebuyoru" - live from REACT tour 2019 with engl. subtitles. ruclips.net/video/aWlMc-pbDc8/видео.html This performance shows you what Wagakki is all about. Putting on a show your money worth. "Ikusa" + "Hakushu Kassai" live from Dai Shinnenkai 2018 at Yokohama Arena ruclips.net/video/Kli0M-dmoeo/видео.html You wanna see energy and a lot of Taiko ? Thats what you get here. The last one shows you why Wagakki is so beloved. Its the encore chant song "Akatsuki no Ito" live from Dai Shinnenkai 2021 ruclips.net/video/eKR-5Wo3TTg/видео.html .
I saw Wagakki 3 times live and only Rammstein with their crazy pyroshow came close to these guys. Even Nightwish or Slipknot are nowhere near this level of performance and i saw them all live. Last friendly advice. If you wanna check out more Wagakki go to Frank Garcia or CCW RUclips channel, they both cover the whole palette of Wagakki and never get blocked. ENJOY !!

At the moment, there is no other band, combining this many traditional instruments, as successfully as Wagakki band. At least in Japan.
Don't be fooled, they have heavier music.
Hmm I'd like to see you go further with them.
    - Hotarubi (at Heian jingu 2017)
    - Kyoka suigetsu and Tsukini sakebu yoru
    - Sun wheel (there is pure shigin here)
    - Howling (shigin also here)
    - Kagerou
    - Reload dead
    - Eclipse
    - Strong faith
    Instrumentals:
    - Homura (has many variations)
    - Chie no kajiatsu (some uploads are combined with Somosan seppa)
    - Tonno monogatari kyuu yon (the longer upload has two part instrumental)
    - Tomodachi ninarouyo

Fyi: Japanese doesn't have tone, in their language you can describe or express any level of emotion or respect/disrespect without any tone or facial expression at all. Mandarin and other languages from china are the tonal ones.
but I love this reaction and your opinions!
