@R H Hey thanks for the message. You must be a mind reader, as I've also just bought black sapote seeds amongst others from Nick, and also having a go growing Lychee's :). Good luck with your plants, hope they grow well for you :)
I live in the tropical zone and these shrubs grow and fruit profusely. I have tried it with sour Lime, sour Mango (unripe), basically any sour fruit. It's really weird to experience eating a Lemon as sweet as honey. I love that the unripe mangoes would taste crispy and very sweet. I suggest you kind of like play the berry around your tongue for an evenly distributed sweetness. I'd definitely recommend eating these before you eat a sour fruit that you want to be sweet. It's really just out of this world.
You can buy miracle berry dehydrated in tablet form. I’ve done it a few times with friends and family. It is. Mind. Blowing. I have tried all sorts of food, lemon, strawberry, beer, vinegar. Strawberries are amazing. Lemon is mind blowing. All beer tastes like chocolate milk!
It totally works! We just got some here in Asia. We bought a lemon, took a bite, then ate a berry and ate the rest of the lemon and it tasted acidic and super sweet but not sour or bitter. The fruit tastes pretty good by itself too. There's just not much to consume. You could suck on it like a candy for a few minutes though.
The Ledidi Berry is a wonderous fruit. I take apple cider vinegar as a weight reducer and after eating the miracle berry, it tastes like soda pop. Very sweet and refreshing! Anyone trying to curb a sweet tooth should have amazing results with this berry. Cheers!
@@coffeefrog4224 I read somewhere that artificial sweeteners make the body believe it's taking real sugar and still respond as such. I wonder if the body reacts the same way when fooled with stuff like stevia and miracle fruit.
I don't eat grapefruit because I can only eat it with a ton of sugar. I tried eating one with the miracle berry and it tastes AMAZING! I have two plants, and I am going to try to germinate some seeds thanks to your video. Thanks!
We tried miracle fruit today at Tropical Fruit World (northern NSW). We ate super sour limes afterwards and they tasted delicious 😆 !! We brought a few berries home and will have a go at growing them. Your video was really helpful. Cheers 😄🌿
So cool! We tasted miracle berries and tasted a bunch of stuff after. Salt and vinegar chips were pretty weird, and lemon, vinegar. If I were to try again I'd give sauerkraut or kimchi a crack.
I had bought a small container of these berries. Once I got it I grabbed a lemon cut it into pretty thick slices chewed the berry for the recommended time 30 seconds while rubbing the berry all over your tongue making sure the entire surface area of your tongue had been rubbed/covered with the chewed berry. Then I took a big bite out of the lemon. It tasted like vary vary sweet lemonade. like 1 part lemon 3 parts sugar. It is like taking a swig of lemon juice and taking a tablespoon of sugar it was that sweet. Well for me anyways everyone's taste buds are different. But for me I will be using these for health reasons to completely cut sugar out of my life not including natural sugars you get in food like fruits, that is unavoidable.
Thanks for teaching us! Is coffee acidic? Offer grounds in soil I am drinking grapefruit juice after a miracle fruit . The fruits Re so very expensive. Will you sell some?
@miaracing that's awesome! Do you have your plant in the ground or in a container? What kind of soil did you use? I was able to start a couple of seedlings (I'm in Florida, too), but they died ☹️ I'm going to try again but need to do a little more research.

How did that 4th one do? Can you post an update? I planted about 24 seeds from my plant (they were older seeds) and only 3 turned into small plants. It’s been about 2 month now and one has 4 leaves while the other two have just two leaves and don’t look as good.
Hey, the 4th one never ended up coming up. My plants are still pretty small - I've found them to be very slow growing. I have mine under a cut in half bottle as they seem to do well with higher humidity. Hopefully some more of yours come up soon :)
@@TheKiwiGrower Nope, just the three. The others just corroded. I'm trying to save the three. I'm using more like house plants now as they seem to do better inside than outside.
Hi mate im from India & recently baught a miracle berry plant from a nursery and tody ive planted it into a 12 inch pot with cocopit(dust made of coconut skin ) & perlite and littlebit vermi compost and sandy soil is it ok ? and after 2 months what type of fertilizer u will recommend for this plant
Hi there, nice one. They do like acidic soil, so keep an eye on the leaves to make sure they stay looking healthy. Peat is one way to add acidity to soil if needed. Make you you keep them watered and in a humid area too :). These plants are quite sensitive to fertiliser so make sure not to fertilise when the soil is dry and not too regularly and use a water soluble fertiliser but not too often. Not sure what exact type is best. Also try to avoid using chlorinated water, rain water is best :). Good luck!

Try plain ypgurt, beer, wine, giant purple clovers, lemons, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, black berries, grapefruit as we say in the island ¡Buen provecho!
Hi I just bought some miracle berry seeds and I am wondering if they will bear fruit when they grow because most trees grown from seeds take 15 years to fruit and some don't unless grafting
I have miracle berry that produces a lot of fruits when i was in philippines. But i live now in canada. I dont know where to purchase seeds. Where did you purchase yours?
I found the sweetness they create to feel very artificial in the mouth. You don't taste it in the same area of the tongue as you taste sugar so it can feel very strange.
Hey Kalem, What happened to the coconut you sprouted before you took a break from youtube? I still have one coconut growing using your technique, Its about 2 years old and 4 feet tall, its still quite young and getting its bearings. It was my 2nd attempt at growing store bought coconut, both my first and second sprouted by my first caught a strange disease and died.
