You were not kidding about this was super interesting, Bujo. It took me two weeks to really grasp this scripture in a sense there were so many kings and places to remember that was important to the scripture for me to understand. Just have to correct you here about Bela. Bela was a place that was run by Zoar, not Shemember. What I got out of this was power can be a strength and weakness for kings. Kings seeked more power hence why you saw kings battling each other at the Valley of Siddium in the end. The king of Sodom, Gomorrah, Shinab, Zeboyium and Bela got tired of being ruled by Kedorlaomer, and wanted to run their own kingdom hence the power battle. What I also got out of this was Abraham's faith towards God shows up here as Abraham used God's counsel to help form 318 army in rescuing Lot. We can learn good things happen through faith towards God as we saw in this scripture with Abraham. I love what you said about the trials and tribulations Abraham went through along with Noah with their faith towards God. You can say the same thing for us with God. There are going to be ups and downs with our relationship with God, and that we are going to have good days and bad days. The important thing is we make sure that God is our foundation for life.
I wanted to add something. I am reading a study Bible and the King of Salem, who blessed Abraham was also called The King of Righteousness and ruled over the city where in the future would be the city of Jerusalem. Here is a part of the note in my Bible : The first blessing to God's people came from the King of righteousness who reigned in what later became Jerusalem - a beautiful foreshadowing of the blessing that was to come in Jesus, the eternal King of righteousness. I hope you find that interesting and inspiring like I did. 😊❤ I love your Bible study videos and I enjoy them so much! Keep it up!!
Psalms 37:25 I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. Giving back to the Lord unlocks blessings ❤
I love the way you study by writing a summary of the chapters! I am reading the bible again and am on chapter 14 of Genesis. Going to be writing summaries too now. Great work!
@@BibleBujo Seriously just bought my first bible journal from my local christian book store. got to start my yearly bible read over so i can summarize like you did. thanks for the inspiring videos and ideas.
I seriously appreciate you! You have helped me so much to understand everything I read. You have broken everything down for me to be able to understand. Thank you so much. May God bless you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼♥️
Wwooww! Really appreciated. Thanks for the dedication and your valuable time, which you used for us to make us understand. Really it's very easy to understand. May GOD bless you and give more wisdom and knowledge about BIBLE... ❤️
5:24 sorry i know this video is old but i just recently found it literally by the grace of God and it has been a HUGE help and honestly has saved me on my Bible study journey as i was at a frustrating and uncertain state before i found these videos! I'm soooo grateful for you sharing these and all the time and love you've put into them... So much so that they are touching and changing lives for the better even years later! With that said i do have a question... Here you mentioned that Abram declined the kings offers of the good because he swore to God that he wouldn't accept any gifts from Sodom and im wondering where and when did he make this promise with God? I'm not sure how or why i completely missed that part 😔 I'm trying my very best to be as accurate as possible when growing my knowledge of the Bible so even the smallest points i try to understand. Thank you again for the videos and i Thank you in advance if you do take the time to answer my question 🥰🙏
Thinking back of Genesis 14 when Abraham with the help of God's blessing assembled 318 soldiers to destroy Kedoralomer's army, how much you think this was more of God's blessing then that Lot choose Sodom over Cannan that help Abram avoid the fate Lot had?
@@BibleBujo I thought that way just going over Genesis 14 and thinking about it last night. So instead of saying Abram got lucky that Lot bailed him out, we can give praise to God. No wonder why Abram gave thanks to God in front of Melchizdek.
@@jaecubed592 I am learning that now with reading Abraham, and I can apply that with my job situation. I was fired last month, and now I got hired by FedEx and I am having the time of my life there. That itself tells me God exists and God does have a plan, and we have to live by it.
You’re blessed with amazing understanding, God has really opened your mind 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 thank you for these bible studies !!!

It was not allies that Abraham called in, these were all men from his household.
Mind if I ask what kind of bible are you using 🙂
NIV 😊
@@BibleBujo okay thank you 😊 was asking because I have a KJV and mine says Chedorlaomer as yours says Kedorlaomer lol
King James version

I definitely think it was God's favor and blessing over Abraham's life that helped him avoid the same fate as Lot
