Fly over the lip of the worlds widest volcano with lava lake Nyiragongo

Filmed during an expedition earlier this year where we rigged and successfully descended to the lowest terrace to the lava lake half a Km down. A quick overview of the campsite and lip of the crater.

I made two descents to the lowest point possible, the first to rig the lines and get footage, the second, a few days later, to collect lava and rock samples with another climber from Japan.
