Nice video, unfortunately my Kenmore 106.54603300 doesn't seem to have anything on the right side of the ice door spring assembly (and there is a ribbon cable in that area as well). Afraid to apply force to the right side of the spring, so I just put it back together. ☹ Tried to paste a picture, but no joy.
No, sorry I left out that the issue is at 3:56 into the video, where the ice shoot hinge shaft is lifted/pried out of (apparently) a bracket of some sort. I see no such bracket (or shaft mount of some kind). At least the ice shoot is operational even though the large paddle has broken off, so I don't want to permanently ruin it during the attempted repair.
