I enjoyed your reaction to the kayakers that just cut through where you were fishing. A lot of people are getting on the water these days and are lacking in etiquette. This is true at the ramp and with inexperienced boaters all over, I try to politely ask them if they would like help if they are clogging the ramp. My old man says, "Just because they can buy a boat doesn't mean they bought class." Also having some days like this is always a blast even when they are small. The craziest night I ever had was up in northern Wisconsin with my Dad and Uncle. The fishing was poor, and a quick squall moved through and we relaunched the boat. We caught 13 fish on our combined first `13 casts, My 5 best were 2-17.5's", 1-18", 1-19," &1-21." My dad and Uncle had similar "stringers" (we were catching and releasing). It was one of the craziest evenings of fishing I have ever had.
Yessss!!! Wacky & numbers all day! That musta been a blast! Not even Captain Kayak with his super powered butterfly stickered helmet can stop Debo the Dinkmeister & the mighty wacky rig!!! Keep’um comin!!! Great vid!!! GO HAWKS!!!
I was killing on the wacky rig all summer, I had mornings of 15-20 in a few hours but now they are bitting it anymore. I found them again with a cranckbait last weekend and going back for more, great video
Fairly new to the game but I've found the wacky is the ultimate best set up. But I also think for me, the less I do the better. Great video Debo, watch everyone. Thanks for making your video both fun and informative.
Most of the time I'd rather have a numbers day. On almost all my numbers days there's a couple decent ones that pop up. Just seems more fun to catching right and left.
Looks like a seriously fun day Debo - dinks or not! Those wacky rigs sure are the truth out there in IA. Wish I had that kind of luck here in SoCal -- the urban ponds are a bit too pressured for numbers like that.
Nice job Debo. You and Randizzle caught a lot of fish. I use the wacky setup on my dropshot rig. Works great. Keeps the bait off the bottom, and it's easy to adjust the weight. Now I need to try those RI Pocket Rockets. Seems like you don't lose many of them compared to the Senko. And they appear to work just as good. Thanks again for all your content. Love it here in the PNW. Maybe you can come to Oregon to fish sometime. I would rather catch numbers, than 1 or 2 big ones all day.
Debo the dink slayer🤘 In my experience and opinion, any Debo video is quality content. 1 fish or 50 fish, its always entertaining and I especially appreciate your honest no push approach to tackle and gear review. 💯💪
Wow Mr. Debo. A whole lot of fish. I love numbers, like @Joseph NY Wayfarer I think that a couple nice fish will pop up. The Wacky Rig is my #1 lure if I’m not fishing live worms. I’m really digging the Wacky Vids. Thanks for the vids
I've been killing it with a wacky rig either in morning dawn, different variations of green pumpkin and flakes with the tail dipped in chartreuse or black and blue. Never really tried it cause i mostly fish around a bunch of vegetation so i never bothered but it's been way more productive than the texas rig. It's definitely one of my confident baits now.
Thanks for your tips... I caught my largest large mouth bass ever using a wacky rig in 15 minutes at a pond I never even had bite at. Only 2 lbs, but gotta start somewhere.
Fun day on the water man. Great work! I'd say my favorite finesse is a Ned rig but, I also really enjoy throwing a weightless Zoom Ultravibe craw. They work wonders here in my local ponds and lakes in Missouri. I'm down for a day of dinks and big numbers. Always hunting for a real toad but, I'll take numbers any day. I'm new to bass fishing this year so, that may change but not any time soon!
I actually had a great day Sunday morning looking back, even though the bite was very slow for a couple hours. Then threw a weightless t-rigged senko on and boom, first cast-a Debo dink came my way! Then a couple more solid ones near 2 lbs not too long after
I like quantity over quality. I need to get my hands on some of those Tramp Stamps (bait that is)!! Glad to see the Big Ten finally starting up this week! Better late then never!🎣🏈
Tough choice Debo. I think the most I’ve ever caught in one day is 8 (I never fish for more than 2-3 hours), so I’d pick quantity. Having a day like your’s catching dozens of fish, would be a blast!! I went out two weeks ago and caught my PB (3.5lbs) and another 2.5lb. That was fun, but I think I’d trade it for catching a bunch.
Golly...........sorry it was such a slow day for you guys😜. Looked like a blast from where I’m sittin’. As far as your question de jour...I like catching numbers, catching a few good ones and everything in between. If I’m fishin’ it’s all good! Great vid 👍👍👍
Great video! I would rather catch a million dinks than just one giant. I love those days when as soon as the bait hits the water the fish are all over it.
I just hear the dinks.."It's my turn!!! Weeeeee!!!" Debo Wacky Ride running overtime! Numbers like that is a blast. I'll take a bunch of lil ones over a skunk anyday. Always looking for that next PB but catching every cast is just fun
Tramp Stamp has to be one of the best color names I’ve ever heard. And of course dinks love RHCP, who doesn’t love RHCP? I’m definitely a QUANTITY guy, just due to the fact that I have limited time to fish so when I do, I’d simply like to get a little bend in the rod. 🤠 nice vid DEBO!
In the pond I have just transitioned the kids to a Texas rig because they’ve gotten bored of bluegills. Personally, I want one big. The kids also want big but their excitement when they catch any size bass is worth it.
This is the most fish I believe you've ever caught in one episode not even including the ones from yesterday's vid! Nice job man!👊 Definitely a numbers guy myself.
Great content u guys were catching all the fish lol. Fresh water fishing has been tough here in Louisiana so right now I would prefer a numbers day but also at the same time because it's tough right now I'd be happy just catching 1 fish lol be it a monster or a dink
I need help, if I show up to a lake that has seaweed all over what should I throw . Started trying to throw a crankbait - treble hooks got 1 foot then snagged seaweed. Tried the whacky worm with weed guard seaweed galore Texas rig Ned rig .. seaweed Whopper plopper seaweed lol Help
Great video! Question… I got some of that Kastking Kastpro (blackout) in 30lb (I saw your video on it). I love the line itself but my blackout faded so fast that it now looks ghost gray and was curious if you had the same issue and has it effected your fishing if yours has faded as well. Thanks for the time.
I'd Sharpie/permanent marker it over in black, dark green, or dark blue. Once ya find a color ya like just re-color the tag end a poles length every so often as is fades away.
Yeah, mine faded too. I have yet to find a braid that doesn't fade. You can use a sharpie to color it. You can also get a spike it black marker too. That will also add scent!
Honestly I like both kinds of days.. I caught my pb in FL in 2017 and it was the only fish caught that day (none of my 3 feeshin friends caught anything). But I also love those days when I'm out in the kayak and I'm catching a bunch of dinks. I just love being out on the water
"Chunky dink and Tubby dink" I will take numbers any day. I went out this past Saturday. Windy as can be. 19 Whopper Plopper bass. 1/2 were over a lb and the rest were under. Fishing on the wind blown side. Got a backlash so bad just had to cut it out😡. A very good day for me and a good video for you!
You two killed them , even if they were dinks it is still fun. Everyone wants the biggie but catching a bunch is great. I have still not had great luck with the wacky rig but I will keep trying. It will happen for me sooner or later... I hope.
You know... MLF anglers made zillions of bucks for a lot of 1 lb-ers.... heck, my memories of better days over the years aren't about the giants...its the family or friends and the constant action. Congrats on a good day and yeah... my wacky rig is close... I use the Big TRD from Zman. Mostly I'd rather use moving baits...but ya gotta have a slow down option and the wacky is hard to beat.
I was really hoping to see you get into a fish on that glide bait. Dang. They were my bait of choice this year for Wipers this however I couldn’t get much of anything else. One little catfish and a little smallmouth Bass. Nice to see you slaying on those Wackys though. I can’t believe how straight your line is one your reel. What’s your secret?
it is nice to catch a bunch, but big is good, too. best big bunch day was 6 over 10 lbs. biggest at 13lbs 15 ounces. On live shiners in St Johns river, Cocoa Fl.
Debo, appreciate all of your help in making us better feshing men. Can you tell me who makes the Swim bait wrap you were using for your glide baits? Thank you so much. Stan
Nice catches haha so many of them too. Amazing! How cold was it that day? What time of day? I have a hard time locating fish on a lake. Any advice? I fished under bridges and logs and no bite yes wacky or Texas rig style. Thanks for sharing!!
rather catch big ones! I caught my PB largemouth bass at 6 pounds with a swimjig attach to a craw. Fishing it deep. Oh yea even caught a nice size catfish too. But dinks are fun as well! Better than getting skunked
PS- You ever used the wacky saddle? I have been using your crossed o-rings trick... but these saddles or saddle style rings seem to rig the hook perpendicular to the bait in one step...
Hi DEBO ... what kind of elastic bands do you use for the Wacky rigs? The one I got over here seems to melt when I let them on the keitech bait for example ... or is this „normal“
I love numbers over 1 or 2 giants. Catching more always keeps you active and heart pumping.
Can't wait to try that wacky rig. Ty for the awesome videos.

Yessss!!! Wacky & numbers all day! That musta been a blast! Not even Captain Kayak with his super powered butterfly stickered helmet can stop Debo the Dinkmeister & the mighty wacky rig!!! Keep’um comin!!! Great vid!!! GO HAWKS!!!
Ok ok you finally talked me into it. I bought the stuff to do a wacky rig. Going to try it out this weekend.
Catches em all sizes, all year 🤷♂️ possibly the dumbest rig as far as what it looks like in the water, but, you can't argue with results.
I got wacky rig supplies about a month ago and haven't gotten to try them yet.
😂
Always a good go-to strategy when you get frustrated. Can save your day.
I’m bout to try it today
I was killing on the wacky rig all summer, I had mornings of 15-20 in a few hours but now they are bitting it anymore. I found them again with a cranckbait last weekend and going back for more, great video
Catching more fish makes an awesome day of fishing rather than just a couple!! Way to go!!
This is some crazy wacky rig inspo! Definitely getting out on the water ASAP and throwing a wacky rig!
Debo, watched this day before, went out yesterday and hit 8 fish in 2 hours on the wacky. Thanks for the reminder!
Awesome! Thanks for watching 👊
A numbers day would be great (for a change...lol). I'd be happy with 2/hour lately....thanx again for the inspiring video Debo!
And thank you for watching 👊
Fairly new to the game but I've found the wacky is the ultimate best set up. But I also think for me, the less I do the better. Great video Debo, watch everyone. Thanks for making your video both fun and informative.

I wondered if anyone would get it 😉

As long as we're catching, it's a fun day!
I love catching fish....... big, small doesn’t matter! Good healthy pond!!!

I definitely prefer the numbers day over the rare big ones. After this viDebo I will never not have a wacky rig at the ready!
Sharing the fun of fishing turns strangers into friends in a few hours.
Thanks for sharing this nice fishing...
And thank you for watching 👊
Welcome..
You have convinced me to fish the wacky rig. I would just like to catch something. I sit there and see other guys reel them in and me, nota!
GREAT Content !!!! THanks Bro !
Dinkfest 2020! I'd go numbers anytime! There's always a chance one of those numbers is gonna be a biggun.
That's for sure! Still fun just to catch em!

I’m a numbers guy just like you I’m usually on a time constraint when bank fishing thanks for the awesome footage
And thank you for watching!
Way to go Debo very good stuff its amazing how many was on that one spot you keep it hilarious as well
Gotta have fun out there! 👊
My brother and I fish mine land in Kansas... rarely ever hook anything big but man it is fun to catch 17 fish or more each! It is the best
Good stuff Debo! i'm just getting back into fishing, and this helps a lot!

Debo, the 7’1 length is perfect for a rod but you absolutely must try a extra fast tip. I have a curado rod that is an absolute beast wacky rig rod.
I actually had a great day Sunday morning looking back, even though the bite was very slow for a couple hours. Then threw a weightless t-rigged senko on and boom, first cast-a Debo dink came my way! Then a couple more solid ones near 2 lbs not too long after

Catching bigs is always the goal, but numbers always keep it interesting!
I love your videos, sir. You have taught me so much. I am curious what is the green combo that you are using? I love the colors.

I'm gonna go out and try that rig this weekend. Seems pretty simple setup for an old beginner like me. I'll take anything I can get even the dinks..
Dinks are a blast. I'll take number over a couple big ones.
Hey debo your vids are awesome, you're giving me nostalgia from fishing cuz I cant fish where i am. keep up the great work!
In the pond I have just transitioned the kids to a Texas rig because they’ve gotten bored of bluegills. Personally, I want one big. The kids also want big but their excitement when they catch any size bass is worth it.

Ooookaaaayyy! I’ll try the wacky! Lol and you rite.. catching fish is fun simple as that
You have a net! I saw the little net on your giant boat. *applause* hahaha
LOL, Dink Powers activate!! 💪🏼💥🦸🏻
VERY eventful day DEBO great fishing
I’m a river boy headed to a pond this weekend. I’ll give the wacky a shot I think.
Good luck man 👊

It's fun when you find a bunch of em!
“of coarse I catch the Brutus”. 😂😂😂 had me dying laughing. Still a fish though and numbers always takes precedence over weight.
Yep, still a fun day of fishing +
