Finally someone agrees with me that julian bleach is actually handsome, Ive been in love with this guy ever since i saw him in The Fall...everyone said I was mad! He's a brilliant actor! I got into watching the Borgias, bcause of him and evern though Parts of it give me nightmares, I can't get enough of Machiavelli!
Damn you can say whatever you want about this show, it may be inaccurate, you may not like it, you may hate it etc.. BUT for fuck's sake this guy is too perfect! perfect acting and a perfect portrayal of Machiavelli. I always think about this guy's face whenever Machiavelli comes to my mind after the show.
This vid is flawless. Machiavelli stole this season. I actually paused mid-show to rewatch his scenes. Despite his 'with a face like this' speech he has got it goin on.
He has always been my favorite, since I played assassin's creed, though I knew abut him long before that. Now they did so well with him on Borgias. Well done
I agree Julian Bleach does Machiavelli far far to well. Not only is his interpretation exactly like I have always imagined Machiavelli, but he Became Machiavelli. As for your video... I dont know why I fits. I cannot put my finger on it. I think it has something to do with both Machiavelli and the singer despising and being thrown for a loop by the state of the world. I love all your Borgias videos! I think it's great you took the time to make one about Machiavelli, he's such a great character in this series (sadly I've never read his books).
Having seen The Borgias first and Borgia second on Netflix I've found myself preferring the performances of the latter in most instances. However Julian Bleach as Machiaveli in the Showtime version is definitely one of the ones I strongly prefer not because Thibaut Evrard did a bad job, but rather Bleach was just so damn good at the role. If anything Machiavelli deserved more screen time.
Dirtbag359 Unfortunately we don't have Netflix here in Poland and I saw only first season of Borgia, so I can't compare the performances, but for me Julian will forever be the one and only "true" Machiavelli, if you know what I mean. He was absolutely stunning and if not for anything else, they should have gotten season 4 for more Machiavelli scenes, preferably with both Cesare and Micheletto because they had amazing dynamic...
