The CD Haute Couture with John were the best fashion shows the world has ever seen before and almost since. Wonderful story telling, very uncomfortable and disturbing at times reflecting life, it's not all flowers and sunshine, there's a darker side both out there and also within each of us.
What a waste.. This shows a decadent from some old world that will eventually sit on a museum pedestal or not?? hum.. Kinda like PANAM from the Hunger Games. It also kinda reminds me of something Thierry Mugler would put together, but without the theatrics behind it. I do remember on very wonderful collection by him "Spring Summer 2011" where he payed an homage to René Gruau's illustrations.. wow what a stunner. I see that he is developing his taste again in Martin Margiela -- perhaps it will be geared toward the future, verse the past.
Pre hunger games looks. I am certain someone from that movie took a snap shot of this collection and copied. As John we into the history books and copied.
