I was young when this showed, but my uncle knew and loved Thierry Mugler. He would dress accordingly after the men's collection and taught me all there is to know about the designer to see this now is just emotional and amazing.

Original music was a very important part of the show, some of the tracks were exclusively mixed for the show, this new music not go with the show, the original make sense in the irreverent moves of the models, .... better quality video but sound just pityful
Pity about the music, but the image quality on this video is the best I've seen of this Heavenly show, which is absolutely my very favourite Mugler - and that's saying something!!

Of course, I love all the outfits and the great hair and makeup looks, but my absolute favourite is Simonetta's at 2:17
But then I so love that glorious hobble-dress at 22:37 , those three wonderfully flirty dresses at 22:04, the fun dance outfit at 28:26 ; the dramatic number at 27:32; Jerry's and Claudia's fabulous furs.
Not forgetting, of course, the wonderfully dramatic capes and hats!
So many dresses, so little time!

I realize just now what was Mugler's mistake: he let his most spectacular outfits to the Old Hollywood glories, instead to find the new ones. I m watching Cyd Charisse in black feathers and horsehair, something like that looked better on a Rhino contemporary starlet, because Cyd was already retired! Anyway, the show was epic!

Great show - poor music - however I'm guessing due to copyright and licences style.com can't use the original soundtracks but them saying that turn the show isn't raw?! FashionChannel haven't edited there shows as much as most are raw footage.

Stop picking on them! Yes the music is awful, just mute it, but at least this fantastic show is still up. I'm sick of seeing things deleted as fast as I add them to my favourites. A whole half hour show for example will be deleted because some corporate arse in their Dilbert cubicle spots a 20 second sampling of their music in a show, as though they would make money out of it otherwise!
The music is part of the show though. The show isn't just the garments but is the package of the lighting, the music, the choreography and the garments. It's a package for the artistic intent and meaning.
