the almost insectile movements of the models really leaves an impression. Mantis dominatrix . . . And yes, it’s so good to see personality on the runway. They had fun with it. So much more joy here than the glum blankness of the current shows.
I wish fashion show nowadays can be exciting like this. Models slaying the catwalk, guest clapping, lit music, UHHHHH. I miss shows like this, so much more fascinating
45 mins of show and one couldnt get bored even for a second . Theater , Fashion & music were well combined with fashion. Each of the pieces were so spectacular and well thought of , that they all fit into the theme just perfect . Kudos , youre my new Haute couture fav !
Returning to this after hearing of his passing feels bittersweet 🖤 literally the first fashion designer that made me get the point of fashion
For all you young wannbe designers out there, take a lesson on how its done and done right. This is the best fashion show I've seen!!!
back then they were able to express themselves and actually FEEL and SELL the product because initially that's what a fashion show is. nowadays models are prompted to walk like robots no expression no nothing . What the heck happened?
***** Once I feel into a stream And landed on a fish And the fish went up my skirt cause it thought it was a cave And I liked the way it felt So I wore it to church And the fish blopped out when I got my comunnion And is that bad?
Lust lustisH wtf
Have you ever seen a drag queen fashion show. They are similar to these type of fashion shows.
laic beugre really? :D I have to check one out then!
janellemstewartt models are ugly these days
Merci Thierry Mugler!
🙏
Great show!

Timeless, really. I like how the models have personality. They're really hamming it up.
I love the way he knew how to occasionally throw in some older models to spice things up. Monsieur Mugler truly understood beauty in women to be ageless.
yes, when fashion was interesting
and Diversity existed
Omg yes

4:10 gemini afterlife, as a gemini I screamed
41:21 is Jerry Hall, she was a bit of a muse to Mugler even thought historically as a model she was past her sell by date.
I love it!
Bravo I'm in love
I love how I can tell your interest by this list
There's so much to unpack here from the "oh no my rich old husband die and I don't know why" to the "alien/bug takeover"
You just don’t see fashion shows like this anymore! This is awesome!
Finally! These models look healthy and beautiful unlike the half-dead stick thin models in other videos I've seen. They really look like they know their business. This was a joy to watch!
your kind of right, the models in the alexander mcqueen shows are extremely thin!
Couldn't agree more, peggy
Peggy Staley of course the models are fantastic most of them are beautiful
transgender post operative models. Didn't you know?
Does it matter whether or not I knew?
I'm naturally thinner than most supermodels. Shut the fuck up.
Oh my god, this is my first time watching a Thierry Mulger Show, and I am so impressed. This is what I call a show. I wish more fashion shows nowadays were similar to this one
I have this fashion show saved in my favorite videos and I watch it once every year or so. The clothes, the poses, the music... this is a spiritual experience. A contemplation on womanhood. As a woman, it speaks to me so much, it makes me feel empowered, triumphant, bitter... Understood.
Это невероятное что то! Такого колоссального удовольствия от просмотра не получала давно! Смотрела, как завроженная! Какое воображение у автора, это живое фентези! Шоу потрясающее! Достойны восхищения все его участники! Браво!!!
Это точно!
Such a fantastic mind Thierry has. Not one duplication, just pure explosion of creativity. Thank you THierry.
I love how this suddenly pops up in my recommendations, RIP Thierry! you are a legend and I don't know how you create those that I can't even dream of.
Ok, so this was the first time I've watched a full Haute Couture show.
I haven't even paused it, I'm completely struck in awe.
He is a genius indeed.
this show is healing depression! it is way ahead than today's shows even.
i've never seen a woman walk so powerful, so feminine yet so tough . fascinating

6:20 she’s given us “I own 51% and don’t you forget it”
Haha, excellent
Loving the comments here 😂😂😂
I love her nose
I had the pleasure of meeting her, and she was the ANTITHESIS of her cat-walk persona: first to laugh, to welcome and give a new girl a word from the wise (and a confidence boost.) Total sweetheart.
@@garyonbroadway1919 how cool!
that dog clearly doesn't know how to catwalk!
I said the same thing! Lol
He catwalks better than Kendall or the Hadids
Poor thing he was in a state of shok considering how many people where there.😂😞
@@ΑναστασίαΚοντοπάνου-τ8γ Exactly. I feel terrible for the dogs who are made to perform in stressful situations. Dogs should Never be made to walk on stages where there is loud music and too many people.
ha ha ... he does the dogwalk :-)
И сейчас смотрю как новое шоу. Все актуально, креативное, футуристичная, неповторимо. И модно! Настоящее искусство.
Я оборжалась, особенно с этого украинца
The clothes are gorgeous and the beautiful models are almost actresses, they made the show very fun and entertaining. Also, this made me realize that hats hiding faces are so cool, it makes them look dangerous, mysterious and sexy.
A few of them were Hollywood icons as well as World Cinema superstars. Check out Winter '95 Couture; THAT put the LEGEND into legendary.
Amazing dresses and outfits. What a wonderful choreographed show. .. a masterpiece and it still looks amazing now more than 20 years later...well done genius Mugler!!!
Greetings from Wun Lung Gon Wong. :)
Такой восторг , редко можно испытать , как при просмоте этого зрелища 🎉 .Одни шедевры ! 💥💥💥 Как эту божественную красоту , можно было создать ! Браво !🎉🎉🎉

Yes biatch!!!!
😅😅😅😅😅
That hella made me laugh 🤣 yeeees!!
Yes!!! Mugler really gets the creative juices flowing.
After realizing that this fashion show will be about 46 minutes, I knew that I was in for a ride.
My heart jumped in pure aspiration between 1:57 and 2:18 when I suddenly realized that this was going to be a show that should be up for an Emmy, an Oscar, and maybe even a Grammy or two.
Over all, this has got to be the best fashion show that I have ever seen.
Bravo!!!!! 😎
name's model please
Who is the blonde model?
@@urqueen4745 Erica van Briel.
Ugh SO GOOD! ❤️❤️❤️ This was back in the day when models had musicality and rhythm and DRAMA! I loved this era of haute couture! These models were SO THEATRICAL ❤️ nowadays models can’t even walk on tempo, they all slouch and look like they can’t be bothered… it’s a shame because that takes away from anything a designer puts on them.
Damn! This is some truly crazy drop dead fashion! I love this stuff!!!! These ladies are wearing the hell out of these clothes! I haven't seen anything that can compare to this show. Love it, love it, love it!!!!!!!!
( 9:00 )I call this part of the collection: The wealthy widow that certainly did not kill her husband .

Konari I LIKE BEING ENTERTAINED AND I WAS. THANKS T. MUGLER. U ARE CREAM OF THE CROP.
this is surprisingly relevant today, in 2023. shoulder pads and 90's-inspired looks are coming back ~
Back then, the models had character. Now they are just a moving hanger
Well thats not true at all, different designers call for different styles
That's a lie.
tell that to sora choi, adut akech, cara delevingne...
@@cgm530 yeah ig but they still pale in comparison to this
I went to an audition one day, we were actually told smth like that. Like the model shouldn't overshadow the clothes, so we shouldn't do anything extra but walk. I thought that was normal with models lol
Every single model is THE MAIN CHARACTER!!! Love it
I used to say I'm not into fashion but after seeing this, I take my words back. This is magnifique
Fashion is so boring now :(
don't you mean sensible
oooooooooooo
I think it's a reflection of the economy. This is DEFINITELY more interesting, and unique, however there was more disposable income for even designer to indulge more than many do today. It's just a thought
helllll yeahhhh!!!
you are crazy, that is so FUNNY
20 years on and this is still ahead of its time.

this is such a good show. the whole "models walking plainly down the runway with a blank face" thing needs to die out quick
The music is amazing....

this randomly came up in my recommended and i’m so happy it did! every single look was STUNNING😍 and the models really know how to properly showcase these beautiful pieces of work👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@Marie I think those are just body building normal women
@Marie Marie, don't get carried away. THREE of the models were transgender. One, two, three. I worked the lighting-the women (models, actresses, and Hollywood icons) were all female. Trust me.
@@esquirroupetitossau-iraty2822 Esquirro (great name, btw), these women were/are extraordinary in so many way ways. There s NOTHING normal about them, but bodybuilders ain't one of them. Have you ever seen a live runway show? They are extremely tall, their beauty is other-wordly, and there energy (here, anyway; today they can move like somnambulant mannequins.) But they are thin. Some of them are ripped and workout (yoga, Pilates, ballet) but pumping iron? Very rarely. It's there presence that lends a pumped look. But they are not bodybuilders. They wouldn't get hired if they were packing too much muscle.
Magnificent. Genuine haute couture. Mind boggling the amount of work involved in each piece.
Absolute chefs kiss! Mugler was the king!
His models were as if his fashion illustrations came to life, and each one had her own personality.
