Mmmm...Sun Drop. Very useful for dealing with 8 AM classes. Used to be a healthy-ish part of breakfast...choke down a deli sammich and chase it with "The Intimidator", then hit orchestration class at MTSU. Fantastic feats of caffeination going on in that green stuff. It's even illegal in a few European countries due to the caffeine content, supposedly. I can see that, yep. One was fine to keep things running. Two, however, would put you in a mindset where clawing barehanded through sheetrock would seem like "recreation"! I.E.: kicks Mtn. Dew. Hard. In fact, if you live somewhere where you have both Dew and Drop, only noobz and people who believe everything the TV says drink Dew. Everyone with a lick of sense (and high tolerances to stimulants) is chugging Sun Drop...and the Mtn. Dew drinkers are wondering how the Sun Drop loyalists can do things like, say, vibrating their way across the room. Nothing like it. Nothing.
Well, the name was introduced 11 years before Mtn. Dew, but it wasn't released into the market until 1949, nine years after Mtn. Dew was released in the market.
Looks like an awesome place to dine and have a fine time. 😊
It is.
GOD 1ST ALWAYS Y'ALL MEMPHIS TENN SAYING
I've been there before. It's a neat place.
Always enjoy the stories on Tennessee Crossroads
Me too.
I love this place. And Joe Elmore's sweater, too. ⬅
It's amazing that Joe Elmore is still kicking it after 30+ years of hosting Tennessee Crossroads.
@@robbyosborne9708 You're absolutely correct!
Cherry Sun drop is very hard to find, and it's my favorite drink. I'm kinda glad that I can't have it all the time.

Is it a precursor to Mountain Dew?
