S2000's have been a dream car since i was 18 years old, when they first came out i was a senior and use to go to the car lot with my highschool gf at 9 o'clock or so and look at them after the salesmen left just so i could look and hope one was unlocked and get to sit in it. Still love them and now that they're older i can't get myself to pay that much for a 20 year old car
Agreed, there's no doubt that an s2000 is a better car than the Miata of the same era .....but like the prices are double an NB or NC Miata haha, it is for sure unfortunate
I would never change my miata with an s2000 even the honda is amazing. I love my mx5 Nd2 RF in its splendid red crystal. With few mods it is superb to me.
@@lucianolucidi8624 I had to think a little bit. s2000 is one of my favorite cars ever but.. ND's are very nice cars. Once I drive an ND I can make the call haha.
Try to get into the habit of having your palm facing a bit towards your right when you shift from 3rd to 4th. The same goes for all gears really. Aim where our want to go with your palm. You might do a moneyshift under pressure with your grip.
I’ve owned an AP1 for 10 years and can say for sure the steering is not as communicative. Any gen Miata is way lighter and has hydraulic steering, instead of electric, which I think is the main factor
Stock e36 u.s spec m3 will eat these things for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. S2 has no chance! U.s 3 is gone ! The torque difference 😅😂😢
Owned two E46 m3s. and a 1999 3.2 e36 m3, the S2000 blows them both out of the water in terms of rawness and feel.... E46 m3 is still one of my fav cars of all time and I will get another, but I will never sell my Ap1 S2000. As for speed the S2000 needs to breath and with a proper exhaust and coilovers they are very quick cars...

I'd trade my Miata for an s2000 in 0.5 seconds. The prices of them are finally reflecting their quality and performance (unfortunate for us!)

I went from an NA8 Miata to an AP1. The s2000 is better in every way, EXCEPT for the steering feel. The miata's steering was just perfect.
That looks like a very well maintained s2000
Topher did drop like $8k in things bring it nicer
@@BitcoinTo150K makes sense! Cause it looks too good for that price

What paint code is this car?
an s2000 will always be superior to a miata in every category
-looks
-reliability
-sound
Agreed! Though the one benefit the Miata has is price
Steering is the main area where it’s significantly worse
