Visited the cathedral for the first time a few weeks ago and to visit the tomb of King John who was my 24x Great Grandfather as I'm a direct descendant of him. Beautiful cathedral and well worth the visit 👍
I've spent many hours in here also Tewksbury Abbey and Gloucester cathedral, they are magnificent, on every visit you will always spot something new
Is the tower still open?

I don't know? I haven't been to Worcester Cathedral since 2017.

The time they put into building their cathedrals and churches just shows how powerful religion is. Churches built today aren't as artistic and beautiful as then. Mainly cause religion now is speculated all the time and faith just seems light. But back then it was their only way to explain the unproven, and the unfortunate. It was nearly impossible to find someone who didn't believe in some sort of after life or unexplained being, and buildings like this prove that. Loving the content as always.
Well said and I totally agree. Thank you for watching my videos. :)

King John has had a very bad press all these years and it does rattle me, he was basically stuck between a rock and a hard place.
