I've never seeing anyone like Tony Iommi. He's been playing for 40 years. And he is yet to stop writing amazing pieces of music. He still cranks out beast riffs and amazing solos. I love the solo from Age of reason on 13. I don't think there's many guitarists that can do this after so many years.
My top 10: 1) Heaven and Hell 2) Kill In The Spirit World 3) Computer God 4) Dirty Women 5) Zero The Hero 6) Symptom of the Universe 7) The Warning 8) Supernaut 9) Lonely is the Word 10) Paranoid
i love the 'Over and Over' solo...my fav, don't know why, i just love the way he goes mental at the end and sounds like some kid jamming in his garage...
When I was young my friend and his dad and I road tripped to Chicago and he played their self titled cassette on the way start to finish over and over, dashboard drumming and singing Iommis solos all with with his big ass foot hanging out the window, flying down the highway. Been a fan from my first listen.
For me, I Go Insane is his best solo. In fact, I'd say that song has his best studio performance ever, it's nothing short of outstanding. Also I think the solo from Symptom of the Universe should have been included, but whatever.
Good selection. His playing on Volume 4 was really out there but I guess not to everyone's taste. I think Mr I deserves a top 20. Also well done for get I Go Insane in, one of the best songs of the last 10 years.
Would've been an awesome troll if you had put "Heaven And Hell" off Live Evil on here. That's one of the single worst instances of his playing I've ever heard. He also gets really sloppy and even out of tempo at the end of "Over And Over". Some other really good moments for him would be "Dirty Women" live off the Reunion album, and I remember "In For The Kill" having a good solo too.

I think " you won't change me" is one of his best
The solo from ''born again'' is killer aswell.
Love how the description says: "The 10 greatest solos from that one dude from Black Sabbath"
He created Heavy Metal 😈❤
Some excellent choices. Thanks for reminding me how good Over And Over is. Only thing missing is Wheels Of Confusion.
The legend :)
I could've sworn his full name was Anthony Frank Iommi, not Anthony Michael Iommi.
HELLO IOMMI 'fans! For me the best solo of THE PLAYER is included into the song:
IN FOR THE KILL !!!!!!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas and God bless you Tony Iommi
the whole guitar part for warning is number 1 for me

Тони Айомми ты гениален!!!
@Luxmaxnike I was being ironic.
super!!
"Keep it warm" have the best solo.
@zorland876 That live version is my all-time favorite Sabbath song.
Frank Anthony Iommi! :)
Anthony frank iommi
Guitar human🤘🏻iommi
For me the 2 most moving solo's are snowblind and nib
How about the song Evil Eyes from B-S Cross Purposes album, at the end he takes off.
Turn up the night?
@zorland876 The last great epic with ozzy
Children Of The Grave?? :/
Only disagree with Sabbath Blood Sabbath. Probably one of the least inspired Iommi solo's.
@Thetarantinomaniac Hey I didn't think anyone else liked "Dirty Women" XD
@zorland876 " that one dude from Black Sabbath." you aren't a big fan, are you?
Number one is Die young solo /watch?v=scVKnzK_mTM
