I watched too many of the old Macgyver. I used duct tape to fix my exciters on my legends pinball table. Not the control pad, but the one that comes preinstalled. They were loose and the sound was driving myself and girlfriend crazy. Excellent video. If my control pad that I preorder has broken exciters I am using the hot glue gun. Thanks for taking the time to post this video. Currently I am using a Gamepad connected to the USB to play my vertical games.
I am a recent ALP owner. I find that the control panel (JOYSTICK/Trackball) actually does give off vibes after installing. More so than others, but it’s there. Still…a MUST HAVE! The vertical games are the best 🙌
Great video. Thanks for sharing! I'm a little jelly because I want the new control deck BAD!! I can't wait to take advantage of it as I'm a huge fan of vertical shooters. Quick question though. When you demonstrated vertical retro games you had loaded them onto a USB drive to play. Do you have a video on how to do that? Thanks again and cheers!
Damit I was on the fence that it would construed my vision of the pinball screen. Like it would annoy me, but it looks so good and with the updated heptics i want one now. Thanks tempatech.
Tampa, I'm curious, have you ever hooked the control panel up to a PC so you can enumerate / see what type of chip they're using in their encoder ? I'm interested in seeing if it's possible to fab up a USB Button Encoder that will work in lieu of the full panel. e.g. if I only wanna add a couple of buttons, the built-in button encoder shown by windows via OTG shows unused buttons in the code. It reports 16 I believe plus the D-Pad. So, with only '8'physical buttons on the machine, I believe we can probably make use of the other encoder slots if we can figure out how to pipe the signal down to the Controller. Would you be willing to plug the USB control deck up to a PC and tell us what it says the Game Controller is ? e.g. is it just an HID Zero-Delay type keyboard encoder or something ATG proprietary ?
I just purchased the legends pinball machine and am curious about the game pad mod. After having it for a couple of years now, what do you think of it? Also, I cannot find a list of the games that come with it. Could you provide that list? Thank you!
My kids like legends ultimate because fighting games and gun games but I like pinball and vertical games like time pilot. Also connecting to pinball Fx3 on PC and playing medieval madness is awesome.
#1 time pilot and time pilot 84 #2 ms pac and pac-man #3 galaga and galaga 88 #4 donkey kong and dk jr #5 arknoid 1 and 2 #6 centipede #7 frogger #8 1942 1943 1944 1945 series #9 Raiden 1 and 2 #10 ? you pick, maybe krazy bowling
how did hot glue work for you on Exciter? i added weight like using washers and double sided table on my exciters it work pretty good . i never think of using hot glue I'm going to try it nice trick
@@TampaTec AWESOME…have heard that name a few times. So, I’m able to download to USB drive from PC, then plug n play to the Legends Pinball? Sorry…new to this (even though I’ve done a bit of research), but totally stoked and want to take full advantage of what it can do without doing the PC connection right off the bat 🙌 THANKS
No thanks mate pinball on a pinball machine that is all. I've waited all this time for the my AGLP and now that I have it I'm not mucking around with it to play some games I can play on my AGUL. Besides I can play V. games on my AGLM when it arrives in May. Joystick on a pinball table? NEIN.
I also have the legends pinball ..controller...and the legends mini reserved but I think I’m not gonna not get the mini because I can just use this pinball machine for vertical games on the bigger 32 inch screen...and I will have a trackball too...
@@yardman1977 If that's what you like mate enjoy it. I hope you have a great time with it. Just not for me pinball on a pinball machine for this bloke.

Wow, the black on black looks really good!

I'm not completely sold on the placement of the ball.... Nice review.
Nice info for the Legends Pinball and great review asalways.👍

Nice repair video 👍
Thanks for this video
frogger looks sick
so are the exciters both firing at once or is it side sensitive ,left and right flipper,, and is there only two in the machine??
feels like both but with different intensity each time it kicks.
The games you were playing did they come with the control panel
Did you map the buttons on the Controller Panel to Steam/FX3? If so, please share what you mapped to 'what' button.
Nice this video

Nice info. So, which do you get more enjoyment out of now? Legends Ultimate or Legends Pinball?

Tampa what is your favorite pack for CoinOps Next2? What's your top 10 list of vertical games?
#1 time pilot and time pilot 84
#2 ms pac and pac-man
#3 galaga and galaga 88
#4 donkey kong and dk jr
#5 arknoid 1 and 2
#6 centipede
#7 frogger

Can you get Time Pilot on that also? I haven't heard anyone say Time Pilot in at least 30 years. FYI I can beat anyone in Galaga or Time Pilot.
Yes, I got both games.
Ordered my machine the other day, but didn’t get the joystick. Is Frogger, Galaga, Arkanoid PC direct? Or are you able to flash drive it…
Coin ops x or addon to usb drive

Can you just make one from zero delay box. Or build one from a old gamer pro?
Do the cloud pinball games come with free subscription ?
Are you over 6 feet tall? The machine looks really low when next to it.
i wish in CoinsOps X there was a option and only show all Vertical Games
game machine
Can’t wait to get mine. Do you know if I can use my coinops usb from my ALU in my legends pinball? Also what is the name of the bowling game? Thanks 🙏
coinopsX should work it's icon is in the Legends pinball menu under byog. Krazy bowl.
How are the exciters holding up after a month,, are they rattling at all with that hot glue on them
So far hot glue works good as a insulation cushion, no rattle.
Still waiting for my Pac Man :)
Tampa using a lot of hot glue as an excuse to get high ;)
can't get high on hot glue, trust me I tried. 😜
I hope mine comes without any problems... I don’t have a glue gun 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Why is this in my recommendations lol
Who plays pac man left handed though? Unless your left handed.
