@@quentincrisp6933 it’s rather sad right? To see former champions out of shape, out of their prime. Not everyone can walk away from the game with dignity or a grand slam win like Sampras. Some linger around too long and get bageled by some young bloods on their farewell tour. But they deserve a chance to say goodbye even if it means losing 6-0.
Two very good back to back wins for Radacanu even if they were against opponents well past their best. Isn't it surprising how many players seem to find their game goes to pieces when Radacanu plays well. All the doubters like to put it down to opponents playing badly or being out of form. But when Radacanu serves well and hits to a good length there is enough penetration to put and keep opponents on the back foot. Sometimes you only get to play as well as an opponent allows and when Radacanu is playing well she makes it hard for her opponent to get into the match.
She has a great deal of raw talent no doubt. But now analyzed, she has continued to have trouble with the top players because the coaching is now much better then ever and studied, she has yet to move into that top tier imho, but she's awful close and continues to work on her game. this habit of not making many errors is winning me over. I might be a believer if she can pull off another great us open run(not necessarily win)...
That might play a small part but primarily it’s Emma adapting to playing full-time on the tour, when you look at the matches she’s losing and observe her serve percentage, the lack of depth on her groundstrokes and the passiveness - it’s clear she’s struggling with the physicality, and she was playing more cautiously. As she adjusts, this level and her US Open level will become more and more normal. These two matches will’ve helped big time - I think she’ll probably win tomorrow, when Emma gains momentum and confidence she’s dangerous, and Jessica is ranked higher than her so there’s no pressure and she will’ve seen Emma bagel two major champions back to back, so Pegula will definitely be feeling it tomorrow.
@@crazycatpetera1404 The hardest thing in any sport is to play consistently at a high level. I watched the entire match live. There are some distinct differences to her game compared with earlier on in the year. One is that she is hitting earlier, closer to the baseline and more aggressively on the rise like how she did when she won the US Open last year. Two, she has developed a wicked slice serve swinging out right on the deuce court that takes the receiver out wide and opens up the court for a winner. Three, and this is significant, she has reduced the number of times where she pumps herself when winning a point, reserving it only for very key moments. Finally, she has rediscovered her technique of successfully changing direction by hitting winners down the line, instead of just playing down the middle. All in all, I wonder if this has been Tursunov’s impact. If it is, she should retain him. He took Annett Kontaveit to world No. 2, after all. And she has faltered after their break-up.

Raducanu played the wide angles much better than the previous tournament, so she won the first two games here easily, need to continue the aggressive game plan.
Raducanu is back in form!
Мне очень нравится как ана играет умница такая пусть будет много Побед успехов крепкого здоровья благополучия удачи
Bravo, Felicitări și mult succes în continuare !
The ligther ball they use in Cincinnati and the US open certainly suit emma's game.
They have those balls in all the Northeast American tournaments it seems. She didn’t play this well in Washington or Toronto. It’s not to do with the balls, you could see from the get go she was going for more winning shots and being more aggressive. She was more passive in those events compared to this match.
I know that this is not the best version of Azarenka that we've ever seen, but still Emma's domination of a former world number 1 is very impressive.
After all the losses she is finally back!!
Emma's on fire handing out those bagels 🥯 like they were candy 🍬
Yes! Towards the end she completely broke Azarenka physically and mentally! Look at the sheer power of Emma's shots! But if you see her physical training it is just scary!!
Raducanu is back…! Playing like she played in her 2021 U.S. Open Singles Title Champion.
OMG these Emma fans, get on my nerves! A couple of weeks ago, y'all were quiet as a church mouse, NOW she's GOD again!!!
Emma is back!!! Same level as US open. She creates the pressure that makes her opponents game fall apart. Same thing happened at US Open. Vicka is still a good player. Emma was just too good and didn't give her a look in.
It’s been two matches against two veterans. Don’t get too far ahead of yourself
Leylah fanboys really worried right now 😂Emma is the real deal. Fernandez is a fluke.
@@MrGenexxx they're both flukes
@@ahmedfouad2659 nah. Only Leylah lol
@@serveoutwide vika is still 22 in the world. So still at a good level
Emma play good she beat two legend excellent performances
Tursunov does a good job!
Raducanu seems very composed and in good shape physically, touch wood (not like that you pervs :D). Is it just me or has her footwork improved? Difficult to say. Her serve seems to be improving throughout the year too. And her mentality is impressive to me, for a youngster too...
Well, you wear a dress *that* short and guys are gonna perv - it's normal. She is bigger and stronger than 9 months ago though, and can hit the ball harder. She's faster as well I agree. Good luck to her at the US Open.
As I said after she beat Serena... Emma is back in US Open 2021 form.
Your best for a long time, now go for it!
Raducanu is on fire! Azarenka is "big game hunting", tennistically speaking.
Wow, I expected Azarenka to get more than two games. Radacanu is playing well. She could go far in the US Open.
lol!. sure
Don't put any money on it.
You will lose...
@@stevefowler3398 I'm not saying she will win the US Open, but she might win 3 or 4 rounds. She won't face anyone higher-ranked until round 4.
@@potzysk2 very optimistic of you sir.
BUT..........
Stunning performance by Emma!!!
Playing like a champ!
Emma is on a roll. Can she continue? I certainly hope so .....Jessica will be the big test for her. I predict a close match. I like them both.
What "roll"?? Serena and Vicka just folded!! Massive unforced errors in both matches! I'm wondering if those matches were thrown!!
What "roll"?? Serena and Vicka just folded!! Massive unforced errors in both matches! I'm wondering if those matches were thrown!!
I wouldn't say she's on a roll, she's only won 5 matches in the last 5 tournaments (excluding Cincinnati), now with two dominant wins she can build onto a roll heading into the US Open
I still can't believe Emma only had 1 UFE the WHOLE friggin match againt Queen Serena. Just that stat in of itself is crazy !
@@Dan-sc7us Thats an interesting point considering the sudden surge in her game when it was so poor just last week. And Azarenka is a FIGHTER, I saw none of that here. Interesting....
Hahaha.....you can tell who has got the cream of the sponsors' millions, at the coin toss,Azerenka is all pumped and hyped up,jumping up and down while Emma was busy doing up her hair!🤣
Didn't help Azerenka did it? Emma, on the other hand, looked fabulous whilst slamming winners in every direction!
Emma on the move
Love ❤️ you ragukanu you ❤️❤️💘
As US open time comes, she is beatener of legends ^^
youth defeated experience. Azarenka is getting in shape with every tournament.
Ce o fi gândit Azarenka înainte de primele puncte?! O minune de jucătoare Emma Răducanu !😊👏👏👏❤️🙏👋
I would have preferred a closer and tougher match here but it is good to see future players like Emma beating legends. As inconsistent Emma has been this year, its tournaments and matches like this and against Serena that can turn things around.
She's been consistent. She's lost early all year so what are you talking about inconsistent? That would mean she is winning alot of matches in one tournament then bust in another which has not been the case. I'll give that title to Anisimova
@@ghsense2626 inconsistent, was not the best choice in words reading this back. Her performance has been poor. If that makes more sense.
Beating legends?? The legends just gave her those matches!!
@@Dan-sc7us Sure... because that's what "legends" do.
Ledgends love getting beaten give matches away they wake up and say" I want to be bageled and humiliated today ".... sure.....
Amazing, I love this.
I love RADUCANU
It seems I was totally fooled by match scheduling or time zones so missed watching this live. Relieved at another tremendous result for Emma who seems to be on a roll. Huzzah!
Emma having an impressive run in this tournament.
Raducanu está on fire ya lleva dos 6-0
Emma game has changed !
Little different than b4 .

Well done Emma.🙏🖤
Well, another solid victory for Emma. Nest! 🙌🙌💪🎾🐬
