This is so dramatic... 😮 Thanks so much for documenting this of course. It got very breezy and the people were definitely trying to get supplies at Costco. What a video!
I've been living in Florida for a few years now. It's really not that hard or expensive to buy a case of water every week until you have "enough", and then just buy them as needed after that. It's wild to me how unprepared people are for a situation they encounter literally every summer. Up north I would buy my salt in the summer, and watch the prices quadruple right before the first snowstorm assuming it's even in stock.
I can maybe shed some light. I have a brother who likes to drink the family's water storage, but doesn't do the family groceries. I mostly drink from the fridge so it could be a lot of lack of communication or dysfunctional families. It wasn't until the pandemic that my family started listening to my advice to keep extra necessities like dogs food and toilet paper so that we don't actually "run out" when the first package is exhausted.
I agree...I moved to Miami from France 12 years ago and my wife and I have absolutely no problem being prepared for such things... It's just common sense... Besides, a hurricane will pass through and last a few days...if that...I remember Irma a couple of years ago, it was a category 3 when it passed through Miami ( we live in South Beach ) and the next day except for a few downed trees and some minor flooding everything was open and everything was available... Unless people have huge families and they might be without power or running water for a few days I don't really understand why they need to get 5 cases of water... But maybe there's something I'm missing...
I'm glad you stocked up on some items and made it safely home driving in the rain. 🙏 Rain + Bad Drivers = No Bueno 🙁 Please stay safe. Thank you for documenting and for sharing, AK! 🤗
Kenneth, thank you for putting up this video updating all of us! Very concerned for you and all who are affected by the hurricane. Stay safe and take good care.
I can attest to the bad drivers here in south Florida AK. Been living and driving here for 16 years. Ive seen drivers just drive through a red light and even drivers driving straight into a water canal smh. Anyways good content as always my friend thank you!! 💯🔥
I'm surprised you didn't get away from the hurricane. Usually you avoid them. Now that we know you're there stay safe my friend. Yeah you know people run and grab all the supplies. Yeah that was crazy seeing the trees swaying like that
I hope everyone is safe down there in Miami I was there in Miami Beach 🏖 from August 12 until August 25 I leave just on time I'll enjoy the the weather the Beach the food the Florida environment no issues with my flight was on time great vacation now I'm back an safe home in Delaware
AK thinking of you all in Florida. Just watched the video l heard a storm is brewing 😊. Hope you guys are all safe sending much love from your friend in New Zealand. Keep up the great work 👍 I'm still catching up on all your vids. 😊 . Sorry been MiA been unwell I'm still to here in support .
I heard about that horrible Hurricane Idalia on the news and it's driving me insane! Pretty please find shelter like a hotel or something my NYC friend ActionKid thanks for taking time, sharing it, and stay safe!🤗
Ok I went a cat 5 hurricane, everyone says get food, get water,??? well We always have both but we had access to food and water in 2 days , WTH do you do with 5 cases of water??, its so bizarre.
because getting all the empty bottles on can get and filling them up with tap water wouldn't make sense??? So Miami Florida 🤔🙄🤨. I've lived here for 60 years and this city get more and more crazy. I'd move if I didn't own my home.
Check the news out of Tampa as they announced that somehow the gas supplies were tainted by diesel fuel in normal gas. It’s coming out of the port of Tampa. The federal government is already going in to fix the issue but it will be a bit before prices go down.
Every fricking hurricane this happens. Every time a weatherman says hurricane near Florida, everyone goes into panic mode. I was lucky Sam’s club had anything left. It looked ransacked when I went yesterday. Costco was the same.
Those drivers are clowns. That white car driving in the turn lane and then going the wrong direction in that lane (against the direction of traffic)...no other word describes it other than reckless driving!
1:15 Unreal how especially with the strong winds, she couldn't just return the cart properly. She doesn't care that it'll hit someone else's car and take up a whole spot, she just cares that she save 30 seconds of her time. What a clown!
Hi AK....I'm watching you for years....but as someone who divides time between NYC& South Florida,I respectfully disagree with your commentary on Florida drivers. Yes...they are bad. But I don't think you can make a broad sweeping generalization...calling South Florida drivers the worst in the nation. Sorry, but NYC drivers are just as bad...I'm a native New Yorker&when not in Florida I'm in Queens. The drivers are atrocious... Queens Blvd isn't called Boulevard of death for nothing. Someone in my building had a daughter killed in a horrific car crash on Queens Blvd in Forest Hills. Drive anyday on the LIE,Southern State,Van Wyck or Grand Central...drivers merge&change lanes at such high speeds, you literally take your life in your hands. Not to mention Manhattan drivers! Nassau County is terrible as well...Plus in today's world,we have no idea who is licensed or not. So again, with respect.. I disagree. NYC driving is awful too&South Florida is not the worst in my opinion.
Never seen drivers so damn disorganized. Even worse than my city! Almost as bad as what i see on your videos for NYC. lol hope you have GREAT insurance. Lol
The ActionKid will be on the scene should the hurricane change direction. As always , he is prepared with supplies & gas. 🐼
Better to be prepared!
Hello Action, I feel so much better now that you were down there. As a popular RUclipsr people are glad to see you. Be Blessed.

@@ActionKid I'm glad too! Also, kudos for adding the timestamps of the different bad drivers you've encountered to the video description! 😂👍
I agree with you AK , I usually visit the west coast of Florida and the drivers are the worst I’ve ever seen , glad your keeping safe ❤
Kenneth, thank you for putting up this video updating all of us! Very concerned for you and all who are affected by the hurricane. Stay safe and take good care.
You're welcome, I hope this hurricane doesn't cause too much trouble for people.
Have been to northern Florida but not Miami so nice to ride along while you drive. Stay safe.

As I said before, he's the only RUclipsr that I know of who travels and shoots videos like this, stay safe my friend
There's many more than me
I'm watching this a week after the storm, but glad you went to Chevron and not Citgo due to the tainted gas situation.
Only a few minutes in and I'm scared - hope you're ok, AK!
That was an AMAZING video, AK!
😮Stay safe, AK! Hope you got enough essential supplies.
Stay safe AK Blessings! 🙏 higj winds and thunderstorms stay indoors!
Thanks, it was scary seeing the trees sway in the winds!
Hurricane is symbol of season change, but for some areas are dangerous.
Be prepared whenever hurricane arrives.

See you soon.

We have our own Jim Cantore out on the streets, Lol!! AK be careful down there. NC is also under state of emergency mainly for along the coast.
They say it's going to be a Category 4 Huricane when it hits landfall this morning in Florida.
Hey Kn, wow it's a nightmare in Florida. Keep yourself safe sir.
Knowing how much the trees swayed just from this brief moment in Miami makes me worry for the future of this storm
Please stay safe my friend. 🙏🏻♥️
Stay Safe AK
The palm tree s are beautiful even in a storm 🧩🥧
Always be prepared...AK brace the storm and rain to do this video for us...thank you and stay safe...need to be calm on the road.

Hi Ken, I hope you are well. Have you experienced a hurricane 🌀 or preparing for one before? What was the experience like?
Stay safe AK.
Geez it was nuts in Costco! Lol. No offense intended but I'm glad im not down there dealing with that. Lol
Best of luck everyone!
I'm in Orlando and Disney World is still packed 🤔
Hello AK, Have you ever regretted moving to Florida? Would you still move there if you go back?
They say the super blue moon 🌙 may increase the tides for this hurricane. Please be careful AK. 🙏 💧🌊🌧🌧
Thanks for updating us! Stay safe Ken ❤
3.69 a gallon?! Up here in Washington its $1 more than that! Been in the 4s for several months now. :(
Very scary. Can’t imagine how anxious this would make me. AK.. please stay safe and be careful ❤🇬🇧
EVERY store has a generator you can get milk, bread, water, and a delivery , the over hype is crazy.
The magic of video? I've been following the NYC to LA videos.... how are you in Florida?
That’s was earlier today ?
That's awesome I didn't think u knew how to drive
That is funny!
Stay safe AK 🙏 ❤
I hope Inter Miami vs Nashville play this alternoon
You leave engine running while you get gas🤔?
we were right of biscayne on 108th lol; we fly back to NYC tomorrow afternoon!
You have to livestream the hurricane. Get up to Pensacola. Speaking of Pensacola, you need to do a vlog up there. It’s the best city in Florida.
I heard a statistic that 1 in 6 drivers in Miami is not licensed.
1 in 6 drivers in Miami probably aren't even legal.
@@bllasae Do you discriminate against African Americans too?

"Actionkid" - the new "Hurricane-Hunter" ("The Eyes Of 🐯").😆

why didn’t you get gas at costco?

AK I think you are feeling Franklin
People who stock up for a hurricane that isn’t even mildly close are people who aren’t Floridians
Hello
Take.care of you Ak
what car you using actionKID
AK-💙💙🧢👍🏼...Stay SAFE🙋🏼♀
In certain neighborhoods in Fl car thieves will steal your RUNNING vehicle while you are gassing it up. TRUST NO ONE.
and its just the beginning lol
I think the explanation for bad drivers is 70% of Miami is Hispanic, 54% Cuban. People don’t drive the same where they come from
Let's hope for a short and not so destructive hurricane season this year. All people in the particular region stay safe 🙏🌧️
We saw who was hoarding water.
