@jordansfilmquest1992 yup I just posted some pics from Key Biscayne we were there in April and I actual took some pics in the same spot where Brian and Roman car jump onto the boat. I was there and didn't even know it lol. I've done film locations in Wilmington NC for One Tree Hill, Dawson's Creek, Under the Dome and I know what you did last summer. I haven't done any youtube vids cuz I can't stand to hear myself talk 🤣
@jordansfilmquest1992 It was at the bottom of Key Biscayne Beach where the lighthouse is. I just posted on Historic movie sights on FB with a few pics of the spot if you're in there.
The scramble scene that used to be an abandoned warehouse back in the early 2000s. And the only reason why I know cause I live here. Miami and that building was always abandoned if I'm not wrong. For a while, that building was used for COVID-19 food Storage
Yes the Supra, Rx-7, S2000 were from the first movie I believe the Supra and Rx-7 were the Hero 2 cars in the 1st. But those weren't the only cars from the 1st movie. During the warehouse scramble sequence. There were a few Eclipses, Civics and 240Sx. Those were leftover cars from it. The Eclipse were Brian's Eclipse stuntcars, the Civics were the leftover black heist cars and the 240sx were Letty's. Now these cars were driven by stunt drivers. The way the chaos was controlled was the car owner/drivers were divided into groups and each group assigned a stunt driver/car they had to follow.
Another thing is that there's a shop in the Tampa area that has a bunch of screen used cars from the original FnF movie. Including the 2 Lightnings and the cars from the 4 way race(in different uses. I.E. stunt car, hero 2, etc)
another fact the corvette flipping that was filmed was a pure accident that corvette was never meant to flip as it was a convertible and would've been to dangerous to plan
Did not realize the houseboat and party scenes were filmed in Hollywood Florida. I have familia down that way. I was hoping to see the trailer park where the money was in the walls, but oh well.
It was a working shop I think for a while it was a performing shop. For cars Cause there's a couple of pictures out there in the early 2000s with a whole bunch of Mustangs And Toyota supras. And then after I think it became a shop to fix Engine boats That was in the mid 2010s. And then I think in 2018 they Demolish the building.
I love the content I thank you for doing this but these guys who do these filming locations no disrespect I wish they would do two versions. One like this and another one that simply shows then and now without all of the talking.
I get what your saying. And it’s a good idea. I do these locations simply because I love the movies I cover. So it makes me excited sharing it with you guys knowing we all have the same love for the film. But I understand what you meant. Thanks for watching though!
