Why do we take the speculation of pundits seriously? A few weeks back, Jordan said that Liverpool would win the quadruple for Klopp. Then a few weeks after which, he claimed that Arsenal would win the league and that Aston Villa would be no trouble for them. After Arsenal lost to Villa, he then said that City would win the league. Moreover, last week he argued that Southampton will definitely finish in the automatic promotion spots in the Championship - they however lost 2-1 to Cardiff on the weekend and 5-0 to Leicester last night. Just shut up and stop speculating!

In a 3-horse race, you can never get 100 points. That means it is more difficult this season than it was between them and Liverpool. If a 3rd force was in the midst, there was no way the points tally for each would have gone to where it got. It is common sense really, and I would expect you guys to have that.
City are a behemoth. Arsenal and Liverpool are so close, were so close. But they must win when the pressure is on; they did not.

The PL becomes the super league more and more every year especially in the past 5 years as the likes of West Ham can outspend Milan. That City team only got to the CL quarter finals.

The quality of the league is better now. More teams are taking more points off top clubs. Getting 97 points is very difficult in this day and age. And it is a 3 horse race. Of course this is the most difficult. If you know maths you will agree.

If Pep continues to play his absurdly high line which has not worked this entire season (every team we’ve played has received great chances to score on the counter with the miles of space we leave wide open down the flanks), then I think it’s be a miracle if City were to win it. If Pep adds a little pragmatism to his game and drops the high line a little, similar to last season, then I think we have a good chance at winning the league.
All comes down to Pep’s ability/inability to recognize that what he’s currently doing is way too risky especially given all the evidence of nearly an entire season showing it’s a poor trade off.
I always find it fascinating when ex-pros analyze d game. Winning a league title by a lower point tally is not a sign that u are weaker than when u win it with a larger point total, it just means that the teams around u have gotten better and league is more difficult

Most pundits predictions are mostly commercial and marketing statements so as not to lose their credibility and media rating. Its a lazy and convenient prediction to say Mancity will win the league. Even if Arsenal wins the league, most will still predict Mancity to win the league next season.
