Make up your mind. Liverpool were not 8 or 10 points ahead then suddenly lost all games. How about the Diaz goal that was disallowed? how about Mac Allister getting kicked in the chest by Doku for a last minute penalty. Theres 6 points right there they would have been up by. Not sure we will have a duopoly next season, with Arsenal and Man City vying for the top spots. Not long ago it was Liverpool and Man City. As shown by Liverpool it is hard to sustain that level of performance, hence Arsenal last year took the fight to Man City and again this year. With Klopp gone we'll have to see what happens to Liverpool, Chelsea appears to finally be seeing light at the end of the tunnel, can Man Utd find an identity on field and then there are Newcastle, Aston Villa and Spurs who will strengthen in the off season. I'd dare say we'll see some fallout from the FFP charges against Man City also which could put a huge question mark on whether they could be stripped on the title and end up with a huge points deduction at the start of the season.

So City lost Gundo and Mahrez, KDB for 5 months and Haaland for 2 months and after the successful last season I would have expected a drop off but fair play to Pep the standards are as high as ever, Arsenal lost 5 premiership games and were knocked out of every cup competition so had a free hit at the premiership. SJ says he doesn’t have an agenda against City, whatever

  • @MCFCTheMadHatter

No PL game is a guaranteed win. As a City fan, I’m def nervous about the game tomorrow. The positive is that City have outscored opponents 28-5 in the last 7 PL games while the negative is that we’ve yet to even register a goal at Spurs in the PL. Spurs will def have something to play for so this will be a difficult game. Perhaps this season is the season of bucking historical trends: City finally scored a goal at Spurs in the FA cup this season & Arsenal won at both City and MU. Perhaps its City’s time to do what Arsenal did to City and MU🤞

Getting boring now, fellas. Clear to see how good this team is now. You dont fluke a 2nd and potential 1st finish twice on the bounce. Especially in the manner they have. The stats of this team, wins, goals etc have eclipsed the best wenger teams of the early 2000s. The only thing missing is the trophy. The best teams win the trophies. And at the moment, Arsenal are 2nd best (potentially 1st best) in the league.

His only chance against Guardiola is to put the buss in front of Vicario and counter attack when he has a chance to score. Guardiola can bit Ange even using his second team. The best Ange can hope for is an equal score at the end of the time.

Shows the mentality of this generation who would rather their club lose to avoid their rivals winning the league. Its exactly that mentality that prevents Spurs from doing anything and it's also a disgrace to want matches to be thrown or suggest that they don't Try for the Premier league. At the start of the season time will always settle things, every club should do their best and let the results just fall as they come.

In the realm of football, a cunning plan is set,
Where Spurs play a role they won't forget,
To let Man City rise and Arsenal fret,
A twist in the tale that fans won't let.
The game of tactics, where alliances are made,
To shape the destiny of a league's crusade,
Spurs' sacrifice in the football charade,
A move that leaves their rivals dismayed.
Man City's triumph, a strategic ploy,
To dash Arsenal's hopes, their joy,
In the sport of kings, where ambitions deploy,
A plot twist that no one can destroy.
So watch the drama, the tension rise,
In the world of football, where passion lies,
    Spurs, Man City, Arsenal, ties,
A narrative that never truly dies.😁
