Thanks BillieJo and Dave for the great videos. Im a recently retired Elect Engineer that would love to drive a cross country truck. I don't know anything about it but you two make me want to start tomorrow. I would love to one day I can stop and meet you both,
Hey Dave, these micro maneuvers you are making on those portable ramps at TSC aren’t really necessary if you want to try something different. Those ramps have wheels that raise and lower just like the trailer legs. Just use the crank, lower the wheels and move the end of the ramp a few inches in one direction or the other as you need then crank the wheels back up. That’s what they’re for. You will probably see the ramp anchored on either side so it won’t move more than a few feet but at least it will help you get right if you need options 👍✌️😄
Dave, really appreciate the videos. You go to places that I may never get to, but with your videos, I feel like I’m riding shotgun with you guys. Thank you for all of your time and effort that you put into the videos. Be Safe and Have a Merry Christmas and a Healthy Happy New Year.
The only place I haven't been is Hawaii and that's because they never built a bridge or tunnel to it lol, but other than that, yep been there, to including the Dalton highway in Alaska
Hi Dave and Billy Jo! Long time viewer. Love your videos. You two make such an awesome team. Very cool to see the travels throughout the country thru these videos. Thank you for all the great videos and the many more to come. Happy Holidays to both of you and be safe!
It’s good to have a team driver, especially when it’s someone you care about, I remember team driving with my brother both of us in our 23s green as hell, when we first began our trucking life and it’s moments I’ll never forget 😀 Having each other’s back. Now we have our own trucks, and do the same routes, but I never forget those team driving days.
I was a business traveler for about 7 years and instead of a semi I drove rental cars all over the US. I can relate to the "I've been there!" conversation, I do that all the time while watching TV. lol
Hey Dave and Billie Jo! You guys should get a couple of those old school Razor Scooters to jet around on when doing your pre-delivery recon or when you guys need to try and find an empty 🙂 All the best guys! Drive safe!
This is the first video of yours I have seen. Loved it. You two are funny. Watch those tumbleweeds. They can get caught around your pipes and catch fire.
Definitely a difference between north Texas and the Texas panhandle where Pampa is located. Home of the Pampa Harvesters. Hereford Texas pronounced Her-furd.
That is awesome Dave I am so glad that you and Billie joe are enjoying it and I am so thankful that I am back into trucking I am with a trainer I love the company I am with I hope that ya’ll have an amazing merry Christmas
Hey Dave, do you drive truck anymore? Lol. I like your channel. Hope you and Billie Jo had a wonderful Christmas and have a Happy New Years. God Bless you all and drive safe. Keep making it Great!!!!
You two got lucky staying south, I was up by colorado picking up a load going to Washington, on i25 north going to Wyoming it had winds 60+ gusting wind I seen 3 trucks flip over and they had road close for light loads and wind
Very nice video. I like how the truck is an auto and the fun you guys have while working. I wish you would have showed how they uploaded the trailer at the tractor place. Perhaps CFI don't like you recording what the actual load is? Loved to seen how they used that ramp. Any rate, happy trucking. Look forward to more videos.
Tractor supply in rhinelander Wisconsin that place is a mess of 4 wheelers difficult to get in and out of too but on the bright side there is a Walmart and a really good Chinese buffet next door
Merry Christmas from the Alsup family to you and Billie Jo. Enjoyed the video as always. You two stay safe out on the road. Seen a CFI truck around Jonesboro, AR today and was actually looking to see if it was you guys.
Man seeing this video makes me wanna become a truck driver Fr now my grandpa was and he drove to so many different states I bet he seen some dope shit maybe some boring but still dope
I have a question to solo driver. How do you guys easily find truck stop before 11 hours. That’s only one things that I’m afraid to do solo coz I’m not sure if I can find truck stop before my 11 hours shift. Anyone help me or any advice ?
Genuine question. Do you recon CFI would sponsor a visa for a Brit? I need out of this country and into a better career (Van driver for a supermarket right now)
I'm still wanting to truck, but right now honestly I'm having so much fun at FedEx, I'm a driver there, I've never in my whole life enjoyed a job like this one. I thought it was just the honeymoon phase where you do everything right and you wanna look good to your bosses but no, it's been a month now and I still love it, I'll do trucking one day, but if I keep having fun here then why even quit?
If you're interested in trucking with CFI, you can apply to join here with my link! go.cfidrive.com/rwd
Dave do you drive anymore?
Well talk to cfi cus they dont work with californian newbies!😤
Merry Christmas
Dave- what is your driver code? I am coming to CFI and want to put you down as a referral. I forgot to use your web link.
Are you not driving anymore???

One nice thing about winter and cold temps , no bug splats on windshield
Its the best when you dont have to maneuver around a ton if things and instead just pull a big turn and back up. Thanks for the video Dave!
