Chuck G. Co-founder of moe suffered a stroke the week of November 9th 2021. Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family my brother. We love you, our thoughts are with you, and we hope that your recovery is quick. Peace and lots of positive vibes coming yourway.
Moe. Will always hold a special place to me. First trip to upstate, first band I really connected with during the hiatus, such an amazing catalogue that is still being added to. Much Love from Baltimore.
Palace was the last place I saw them before all this shit started. Fitting that they played this there . Hoping to be able to catch them again come June, I miss it but it's for the best.
Also! Our friends at the Palace Theatre can really use your help. Help us help them keep the lights on with a donation. Donations can be made at bit.ly/SupportPalace
Back in 02 some friends told me about this band called moe. They loaned me a cd and I immediately found a new band. In 03 moe. played in Memphis at The New Daisy. My friends took me and we had awesome seats. It was a magnificent concert and one I'll not soon forget.
Hi everyone! So glad you can join us! For those asking about CDs This Is Not, We Are & Not Normal will be combined into a 2 disc set. You can pre order now at moe.themerchcollective.com Orders will ship around 12/7 and everyone who pre orders is entered to win one of 3 test pressings signed by the band. Enjoy the show!
I love your band, your music and groove! -Kristen Shiner McGuire, marimbist for the Rita Collective; past percussionist for Malestrom Percussion Ensemble ~ so nice to see another fine mallet player out there integrated in a band like this!
Sounds outstanding. Indeed, did the fact that Chuck was on the Rob's left and Al was on Rob's right improve the harmonic balance? Will this be the post-pandemic version of moe.? No doubt, with its skill and musical complexity, moe. is the best blues/jazz/rock/jam band in America. I can't wait for the next concert. Stay safe.
I think it's the same alignment from a live show...Al and Vin on same side, Chuck and Jim on the other. If their microphones were facing the front doors it would be just like a live show. Besides that, completely agree they are the best band in the world, hands down.
Seems like a weird place to set up at the Palace. It looks like they are in the lobby 😅 but hey, maybe they know something about sound that I don't 🤔 And by the way, I absolutely love pill vacation! Went away and took a holiday right at home! That pretty much sums up life in general 😅

God what a gift it was to be a child of Upstate NY.

I have listened 3 times or so, this video has a good play time and the Rob song grew on me. Great performance!

The Palace Theatre is a beautiful venue, this is the main lobby...Sadly there's no video of going inside..

Hoochie Mama, yeah that was pretty ok ;)
And who said Vinnie can't chew gum and play drums at the same time... (41:30)
Vinnie is cheese whiz...you ever hear the drummer prior 2 vinny...he had chops
Cait wait for the Post-Pandemic Party!!!!!!
radiohead from the basement vibes
Turn up the mallets! can’t hear Jim!

They rushed it a bit on this. Studio version is more relaxed.
Would have been nice to have a director who knew the music a little better...
How technically sound that drummer is…..
