I literally just saved Ritz. There was a dead mage and she said something I didn't hear (I just got the docs and npcs seem to talk when I'm near, without prompts)
I was inspecting the stuff on the ground and she was gone
how in fucks name did i screw up most of the connections agents

If you're playing a dwarf inquisitor you don't need Varric to gain Ritts. I just dorfed her in myself.
Flavortastical yeah. a good number of these have the option to do it yourself if your class or race is a certain way. like, Enchanter Elandra was recruited by my Mage without needing Vivienne.

I love your channel. I just started the game a week ago (I finally broke my destiny addiction) and was looking for advice because there does seem to be a bit of a learning curve.

Haha me and you both, got all the exotic guns and all worn out of the gambling feeling. Minus helping a few new raiders. I took a slight break from DA for Evolve and dying light but i can hear the inquisition calling me back ;-)

One thing about some of the agents; Clemence can only be recruited before Champions of the Just and In Hushed Whispers is complete. Also, let Sky Watcher finish his dialogue before recruiting him as it may glitch and not allow you to have the conversation option.
This was very helpful, I saw a few npcs I forgot about later on and this reminded me of them! Also will be using this for 2nd playthrough to get the agents trophy! Thanks!

you can also recruit the mage in the hinterlands w/o vivenne. I spent my first 4 inquisition perks on knowledge and it gave me the option to persuade her to join. Also, getting 150 exp on each codex is great! :D i also suggest getting the 4 perks before getting to skyhold. makes leveling up so much easier! :)

BTW...I've only played a human mage so I have no idea if race plays into it
i don't think race has anything to do with it. haha! :) as far as i know, race only affects romantic relationships and sometimes you get special conversations. :)
You don't need Varric in your party to unlock Ritts. You could also unlock it by playing as a dwarf or by having underground knowledge...
Viv can also help you get Horse Master Dennet and I think using her is funnier.
great vid and very helpful, another recruitable agent in redcliffe is the herbalist and you can recruit her with cassandra in party even before doing her collection quests
Mage lady with the dead lover (can't spell her name) I believe can be convinced if you're a human or Elven mage or have the noble dialogue perk...
Oh.... I didn't know Rits could be an agent. LOL I didn't even get that dialogue.... (And I had Varric...)
Those 11 Agents that you can recruit at the first act in order to gain the achievement Persuasive:
Hinterlands: Vales' Irregulars, Ritts, Speaker Anais, Enchanter Ellendra, Dennett, Tanner, Clemence, Berand
Fallow Mire- Sky Watcher
Storm Coast- Blades of Hessarian
Val Royaeux- Belle
You can only get Alexius as an Agent once you have gained Skyhold and judged him to work as a magical researcher at Act II. On the flipside, if Barris survives on Champions of the Just, he will be automatically becomes an Agent under Cullen (if you take the Templar path, you will have 12 agents before the end of Act I).
There is Michal Chevin (forgot spelling) in Emprise du Lion after you defeat Imshael
you can also convince horse master Dennet to join you if you have Vivienne or Dorian in your team too; they'll insult his horses by suggesting mounts from Orlais or Tevinter would be superior.

For Enchanter ilandra you don't need Vivian with you. you can recruit her if your main character is a mage.

You should do a play through series for Dragon age like your viewer driven story but go through all three games. I think it would be awesome to see all the connections in one play through. Just a suggestions :)
When youre deciding over the fate of the avvar warlord he joins the Inquisition but only if you sent him to tevinter
Also, Tanner can be aquired via dwarf or Varric in your party or with underground knowledge

plenty of people have already said it, but basically tanner and ritts can be acquired by playing a dwarf -- since cadash was part of a crime family, they know what's good, lol.
there is also Jana in Crestwood, but you'll need Solas in your Party

Can you do a video on the trials in dragon age Inquisition please their is nothing i can find explaning what each trial does to the game

Alternately you can also use Vivienne to recruit Master Dennet.
Note, to unlock Redcliffe Village and Tanner + Clemence as agents you would need to have completed the quests whereby you decide to ally with either the mages or templars. Also I think Clemence can only be unlocked if you decide to side with the mages.
Zade Rose Hale kind of late but I think all you have to do is just visit them you can leave without siding with the mages

Is there a way to be balanced between Forces-Agents-Connections so Skyhold is fortress for all three for epilogue instead of one of them?
Do u have to have the correct party member the first time u speak with the agents or is it possable to come back with the correct party assuming that the character is still there ofc? Lets say u asked the horsemaster something else instead of the recruiting option is it still possable to go back and do it?
You don’t need varric or as a dwarf to get rits I’ve done it as an elf and human
I couldn't get the first one as i didn't have any of those conversation options and i did have verrick in my team
Finishing up a few more playthroughs. Full game walkthrough with player details. That we all wish we hadn't had to look up 100s of different videos to realize what we should of all been told and known at the end of the very first one we watched . Time is money and most dontt got enough of either one to be able to even access the web. Let alone look up a 100 different videos. People seem to take everything for granted worse n worse, and itsis starting to bleed through this current reality we now find ourselves in. Hopefully next reality has more fruit n at the very the least when it does bleed it hopefully doesn't smell like copper, iron, gold ( no video games though too is irony n too sad n btw no device that I am currently viewing global broadcast to use as well). Lol funny cus in end it's all done so that those in power n at the heads of all leadership roles or even behind in some cases can bare forward their rubies and diamonds purchased from our blood. So that we admire their control over us by seeing a magnitude of type of irrational magnificence upon idolisation or having follow or be lead by another cus of most not knowing any other way. Rather than simply seeing the evil reflecting off their diamonds,rubies, n gold. Which if you look real close you ll find it traumatically ironic that it looks exactly like all of us that r cuurently seeming to be staring at it. Rather than take it back from them all. N crush them under the boots of steely design and altruistic fate. Binarial design is flawed, cus most systems if not all . Will ever be able to account for or fix errors or problems that happen to arise constantly. If they have not already dealt with whatever it is appropriately the first time. Or for that matter at least getting it right by the 3rd time. Our species is prolly on its programs millionth try n most cantbget it right till the day they die it seems. Let alone first try. My point being that this 100 th video I've had to look up. N the people of the world deserve better no offense. Your Vids are good. But after watching all yalls vids n noticing what they lack. How do you recruit Bernand as Connections? The game always defaults to Forces when I tell him to join the Inquisition.
Instead of telling him to join the Inquisition, tell him to go home and use his influence (Connections) ;)

Oh, okay. The wording for that other choice is really misleading though, since the Forces one says "Join the Inquisition" and the other says "Go home you failed" with no mention of joining at all. Which do you prefer? I want to go back and make him connections purely because there doesn't seem to be many agents for Connections and so many of the perks require +4 points.
I was able to recruit tons of these agents without any of the followers you said

There are many ways to recruit agents... u just need to know how they can be recruited

what are agents good for?
It basically counts as a perk in the tree so you don't need to put an inquisition perk into something. Like more healing potions requires 3 perks in the forces tree, so instead of wasting 3 perks you could get 3 agents for your military and then when you choose to spend your perk you don't need others to unlock it, you can just unlock it straight away.

The flame sword? It just came with the game.
if you buy the extended version of the game there is a chest in hut where you wake up in Haven that gives you a weapon and armor based on your character
I've had trouble recruiting Skywalker. Not sure why but sometimes I cannot talk to him and if you leave the Fallow Mire without talking to him he is no longer available.

What does power mean in the war room?
Going to most/all areas need a certain amount of power to unlock them, but don't worry you get more than enough
Noob question: what is the point of getting the agents? I've stumbled upon 2 or 3 of these but I dont actively search them out b/c I didn't see what they actually did to help me
Decreases the time war table missions gets done.
Some Inquisition perks require a number of points to unlock. Agents count as points in a category.
If Deft Hands needs 5 points on Secret and you have 4 agents on Secret, you just need to spend a point on Secret to unlock it.

Question, is there a difference between followers? like is Vivienne a better mage than Solas or is it just a matter of bringing who you like.
They each have there own unique skill tree they unlock after a certain point in the story. Early on they are the same (excluding Varric and his awesome crossbow) so just bring the ones you like.

Hey was wondering if you had a tip on beating the first dragon like party members to take I'm a dual rouge and it's giving me a problem I'm level 13
Try later on a higher level and then make sure you have a mage with ice/cold spells
Glad you wrote that. I tried it at lvl 8 Mage when I thought I was getting somewhere in the game. Didn't last 30 sec, lol.

What do the agents do for the story
Inquisition perks. Every agent is assigned to one of your council, ie. Cullen and Forces or Leliana and Secrets. With each agent, two things happen:
1) Theere's a 5% reduction in time required for the council member to complete war table operations for each agent acquired to their group
2) Inquisition perks; some perks such as Deft Hands for Leliana require 4 perks acquired prior to being made available. Each agent acquired counts as one perk, as seen when viewing the perks, the agents will appear near the bottom of the perk list with a check mark. Perks like The Short List can be taken much earlier and easier with agents since it requires 5 previous points. Also saving valuable perk points since all in all you get 19 total.

what do agents do exactly?
Many of the Perks you get from the war table requires a certain amount of unlocks to get the good ones. Agents count towards those perks, also the one they work under can do missions faster if they did not.

And they count as a point in the inquisition perks... So if u need 4 points in there to unlock a certain perk... Having 4 agents in that category will unlock that perk aswell
