    Bantu works on naturals too, I leave it on for at least 5-10 minutes but make sure to deep condition afterwards. You can mix the kaolin with your deep conditioner,and add it to your favorite deep conditioner along with your favorite oil, mix to a icing like consistency. Leave on your hair as you usually use your deep conditioner. I've use these methods,including the Maison 276 (black woman owned)and get regular compliments about the color of my grays. Thanks for the information that you provide.

    Great info. I have a band of gray hair that frames my face. Started using some natural products to prevent breakage and shedding. Everything was going great until Neem oil was used. It turned my beautiful white/grey hair yellow brown. I almost passed out when I saw what had happened. Been using purple shampoo. Slow going. Have stopped using fenugreek seed preps in my hair as well. Down to aloe and msm. Will be trying the some of the products that you mentioned.

    I have used the Bantu Yellow Out Conditioner on my relaxed hair. As a matter of fact, if I didn't use it, my hair would be soooooo yellow. I recall once when the hairdresser and I forgot to put it in after washing out the relaxer.
    She went ahead and set the hair in rollers and I sat under the hooded dryer. About an hour later, we were both surprised by the colour we saw when I sat in the chair for her to style my hair! Yellow! All yellow!
    She had to take me back to the shampoo station, put in the Yellow Out Conditioner and do the setting and drying process all over again! That was years ago and it is an experience I won't soon forget. Sigh. Needless to say, it never happened again. Lol

      I am having a fit currently because Bantus yellow out has been discontinued. I am at a loss because most of my clients that are gray do not want purple hair. The problem is that these people are relaxed, so as mentioned in a previous comment, when you relax gray hair, it is going to turn yellow. While the purple shampoo and conditioners do lift it to a certain degree, many times it’s left with a yellow cast still. Any suggestions to replace the Bantu yellow out in a situation of after relaxer? That seems to be the best thing; hands-down.

I've used ACV as well and let me tell you that first rinse mixed with 2 cups of water...... OMGoodness! My hair was so soft, so shiny, but did not feel stripped at all. The best is rain water from your roof when rain ( my granny do that and after washing she use vinegar , just little for the last rinse - never conditioner - there where no conditioners that time - so one spoon or teaspoon is not much problem)

    8:06 just discovered that product - Mofajang! That’s exactly what I’m using while my roots grow out to a length I prefer before I cut off my colored ends.
    I finally chose to go instantly silver by using that temp color all over black coily hair. It blends my silver roots using temp colored gray over the black hair.
    It’s a bit messy and time consuming to cover all my black for sure but because my hair is short it works perfectly! For me, it lasts a full week although it tends to fade.
    I basically had no transition phase. Went from black to full out gray because all of my roots are mostly silver - which I just NOW discovered after not coloring for 2 months (25yrs of hair coloring)
    That product would probably be too much for all-over use on long hair but would be awesome for those who want full streaks of gray if only parts of their hair has silver roots To me it feels like a defining hair gel when applying but hair has to be only slightly damp or dry for the color to stay in when applying I found. Love that it just washes out with water and doesn’t make the hair stiff.

      thanks so much for letting me know you are using it to transition. Please email me at nina@naturallygraysful.com I would love to document your experience for others who want options on how to go gray. I agree with the definition it gives because that was my experience too.

      @@NaturallyGraysful OK I sure will! 😆I’m actually experimenting with white instead of silver mofojang and I’m liking white a LOT more than silver. So much more that I’m considering a big chop. That said, since I work from home, I’ve been a bit lazy with my hair. Letting the gray grow out mostly under caps and wraps.
      Every couple of weeks, I do the mofojang on my entire head because it’s a fun change to go “suddenly silver.” 😀 That white tho! Even better than silver! (for my liking anyways). I may try mixing white and silver and see what happens.
      I have an undercut in the back and about 6 inches on top (which looks pretty short with shrinkage). About 1.5 inches of silver roots. When next I come out from under my wraps and caps and rock my curls, I’ll take some before and after pics of how I turn all the black to silver/white with mofojang and send them to you by email.
      Since I’m mostly in my home office, no-one has actually seen my transition to silver yet so I’m planning a 2021”suddenly silver diva” reveal. 😀 Not sure if I’ll big chop by then or not. We’ll see. I’ll keep you posted via email.

    Thank you for the suggestions. My hair is copper at the roots. Would your suggestions help with the copper color. I color my roots because I don’t like the copper color.

    • @NaturallyGraysful
      @NaturallyGraysful  4 года назад

      That’s a great question Flee! I’m not quite sure how it would come out on a copper color I am guessing that it will come out OK but you’d have to try and see. Please let me know if you do try it so that I could let someone else know who has copper hair, thank you so much for watching and your continued support!🦋

    • @karenpulliam5103
      @karenpulliam5103 3 года назад

      Hello, is your hair copper at the roots due to the hair color base? If so you might try a different base color to offset that color. A professional hair colorist may be helpful. If that’s the case.

      Hi Sheila, I use the waxes to brighten my hair or help add depth to the color. They are temporary so they wash out after shampoo. Thanks for your question.

      You rinse it out because it is acidic. Dilute it. It takes the place of shampoo.
