I need that fountain of youth type of rain storm! Holy crap!!
bhahhaha
That Raptor equipment machine is a beast! Great job and love your sharing and showing of the water pump set up. You make me want to work and help y’all. Keep up the good work buddy. Look forward to see more videos.
Nice work Josh as usual. Good to see Miss Stoney Ridge. Glad you guys are making it work whatever will be will be brother.🤘🏼
Hey Josh thank you for the video it was good Woo👍
Our frost line is much lower. ha. zo.I have to blow my 2 hydrants out every season.. It looks flat, won't ware and tare your well pump. You don't need water in deep freeze ha. Except the main the well drillers put in. Those are great! 30+ years still works in December! wooo!
I think we were all cringing with you buddy, but we would all do the exact same thing! Thanks for another great video, it’s great to see Ms. Stoney Ridge!
To help you with the hose clamps they make a torque wrench a T handle torque wrench. You can find that in the plumbing department.
I love the videos With Mrs Stoney ridge in it ..thanks
Josh, where are your mud boots?
Mud boots will keep your feet dry. My mud boots have steel toes, that way if you drop something on your toes or a cow steps on your toes, your toes don't get crushed.
Good video and glad to see Miss S R
The frost line at our property West of Duluth MN is 72". What a difference.
yes! You guys get cold up there!!! Really cold!
That will be a beautiful place to have weddings! I got married in my bestie's backyard under the pagoda by the pool (her backyard is a tropical garden). Getting married at the beach here is so blasé & touristy- the mountains are perfect!
😁👍
Josh, using a tee rather than an elbow where the pop-up is installed makes sure the tube will drain.
Looked like you all did an awesome job getting the pipe in n buried
Looking good Josh the land leveral did an awesome job
20:09 Oh look, it's Yosemite Sam! ;)
Love the channel. I like how she gets to work!
Good video! Nice T shirt w/message. Josh, gotta give you all the credit, you've learned a lot on the farm, and you've busted your hump, and you've become a dang good business man.
Lmao, I was like, who's this fella when you popped on the next day. I was like, "what in the BILLY MAYS just happened lmao" Dat Beard is Dark boy shuuuuu!!
The dark beard reminds me of that spray paint bald spot cover stuff or that powder shake stuff.
Got the Tom Jones of beard going on🤣🤣🤣
bhahha
Josh, great Video and man, you looked tired at the end of it, stay safe.
I’ve been tired for weeks! Need a vacation soon!
Dude, looking like billy mays with that beard. You should do a super clean infomercial
Good morning! There is still a similar hydrate in our old barn my husband installed back in the 1970,s. Still working.
We don't have to worry too much about frost line here in NE Texas: until Texas froze a few years ago. Code for buried water lines WAS six inches. Being changed to 12" in most places now..... Got down to -12 here in Longview when that freeze froze Texas. Good woman btw: she jumps right in there to help.
Wish it was 12" up here in Northern Michigan -My frost line is 42" and I just had to dig 18 holes for my new cabin foundation
@@mikesims9181 wow.
@@mikesims9181 right im in ohio which is 36 watching all these southerners able to frost proof stuff at knee deep, while we can barely rent a walk behind trencher to bury water lines lol
Enjoyed. Wooh!
Good morning Josh, you guys did one heck of a beautful job, looks great!
P.S I love the 35-40 minute long videos
Aww, Mrs is so pretty.
The beared looks good
Too early for the Santa Clause white beard but just right for the Black Pirates Beard burring his treasure, dead man's chest and a bottle of rum.
That’s good idea for land lever . Be nice if they made one for JD 1025 R. For the front end of tractor, I like that.
Dang Josh you found the fountain of youth on the 2nd 1/2 of your vid LOL
Josh, the longer you leave the dye in the darker it gets regardless of what shade you get. Leave it in no more than 5 mins
I used a heat gun on a plumbing repair at my moms house. Only knew how how to use a heat gun on plastic pipe because of watching YOUR videos!!!
nice!
Nice job! Would the Land Leveler be good to go over the ditch before the concrete guys arrive? Nice driving with the GEHL and it looks all matchey matchey with that bucket! Love it!
I think the corrugated pipe for down spots and the pop ups is a kind of hack job, personally I use schedule 40, proper clean outs at the base of every down spout and I would have daylighted them at the bottom of the hill.
You think we need to use pipe that’s designed for pressure for drain lines? I don’t 😉 it’s gonna last forever just like this brother
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer 100 percent see where your coming from, i along with my family in our business see this all the time, we see this pipe as being a jack of all trades grade but guys that replace it and see it collapsing over minimal pressure is something to note, there’s never a problem with putting in something it’s the long term that I think about, I see that pipe collapse over a few years due to not that much strength, being that you want to put full in and who knows in the future expand that shop, and being that you’re building a generational farm, a few dollars more here and there might save you time in the future.
all in fun.
Do you have a “hole shooter” shovel? They’re a long, narrow bladed shovel, that I’ve found that work’s awesome for working in the soil here in Central Texas.
Man thats a big ole trench for that little watter line
Another great vid.. stay safe 🏴
only a pop up! I thought it was gonna be the hydrant 😊
both!
How do you clean out the stuff that accumulates in the gutters (leaves, dust etc) eventually going into the pop up and clogging it? That's a lot of roof to drain.
🙋🏼♂️ BLUTO style beard ……mines like ZZ TOP 🤠
impressive beard color transformation!
GOOD WORK YALL LOVE FROM LONNIE IN N.C.
Josh, turn your often roll over than the way you had it.
...lollol...yep, getting older, matey...😂
Good operator
I think the beard looks pretty good.
I thought you said that you were going to flag that exact one you hit? Lol😅
With the dye job on your beard, you look like Bluto of Popeye fame.
7:49 Best is the metal one, this will be big weak point later on.
lol, hair is great. you can cut it off and it will grow back. Try another color next time. maybe blue?
Lol

@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Hi JOSH, Sorry to hear that just subscribing doesn't put a penny in Your pocket. Finances are stretched thin at the moment so Maybe Next month? Hopefully sooner! BLESSED BE!
WHO that’s guy, lol let’s Gitter done.
Hello, you ran into my father at the competition today and I just wanted to say thanks for sending the video. I’m andy but on my brothers account I watch your content with my dad Daniel from farm land fencing and I just wanted to reach out to you and see if you would reply and will not forget to subscribe.
Awesome! Your dad is a good dude!
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer thanks
Enjoyed the video! 😀
Well all I can say is that your beard ain't green.😂
What's the name/brand ont the Pipe cutter it Made look as an as job 👍
it's just a generic pipe cutter from lowes
Luckily facial hair grows quickly and the wrong color won't last long. But, seriously, even though it's a little on the darker side it's barely noticeable since you wear a cap and your hair color isn't seen much.
I'm a friendly, and I saw this in last video too but didn't ask. OK. I can't believe those piles for your outdoor kitchen, at the base are on Bolts raised from the concrete block base! I don't get it.
It’s far from completely done my friend. Stick around and you’ll get it
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer ok. it makes no sense.
Where’d u find rain in nc….?
@brianparks6700 ...Think that there was a COLD FRONT moving over the area? Pen-pal in Maryland talked about wind and rain!
idk if theres a reason for it, but all of my hydrants got a tpost on em theats cut off just above grad to brace the hydrant baybe an idea to reinforce em
Trench warfare…..under the gun get her done.
Josh way to hustle I don't I don't think that I people from the northwest or California know what it means to have a storm coming when the wind starts blowing down in North Carolina or Texas even worse that means a storm is eminent often and you got to start hustling absolutely have to haul buns because it can come in and just be ripping it I live in Texas for 10 years coming back home to the Northwest all of a sudden it started to blow wind up here I was running around and my boss cuz you don't have to run you're not down the South anymore I've gotten so used to hustling and running when a storm was coming in I was just conditioned way to get it done I'm a little worried about as you mentioned that plastic T on the bottom of your frost-free I'd be tempted to go back in and put a brass one in it Josh of note usually they put a 10-inch lift of dirt in on a ditch and then they compacted as they go along worthwhile noting if your back filling for something like that trench going along put in a 10 inch lift of dirt and stamp on it or better yet use a tamper it's to avoid setteling
WTH.....no dye please :)
Why do you need the trench and pipe for?
@sandipaul9553...There was an earlier vid about draining the rain that will come off the MEGA SHOP. Not sure how You find it??
to get it out of the way, and to keep it from freezing
is this non-potable water? or is that black poly safe to drink from?
I’ll let some of our plumbing pros answer that for us.
Polyethylenes are safe for drinking water. Most plastic bottles and cutting boards are made of it. However I would have laid it in sand, pea gravel or a sleeve since it is under concrete, never around rocks. Also if that Hydrant is surrounded by concrete protect it with some sort of wrap that will last for years, Maybe some type of rubber sheet. Please don't use duct tape or electrical tape. Been a Licensed plumber for almost 40 years....I would have also tamped that trench in 6" lifts. That stamped concrete is $$$$....One other thing, I would have used a brass nipple at the bottom of that Hydrant....
You know Josh just because you may love Miss Stoneyridge just because she may love you does not mean that y’all still don’t or shouldn’t use the terms please and thank you fact is, I think it’s all the more important as you were telling her what she needed to do You didn’t say please and I’m sure when she got done you probably didn’t say thank you but you did say thank you to the guys at psi who you’re not in love with at least I hope not
and with people you love it’s all the more important just a thought
Somehow the videos are not in the timeline
Please please please
Do it in a timeline 🙏🙏
Yep not sure what you mean. But try refreshing the app or browser my friend. Nothing has changed on my end unless RUclips changes it
Please don’t always hid Mrs. Stoney Ridge’s beautiful face behind sunglasses unless of course it’s for medical reasons. Thank you, should have watched until the end.
Nobody is hiding anything lol
you dyed your beard?! who even thinks of doing this? who do you have to impress? Paint your nails next, cows will love it
Lol I’m Just glad we live in a country where we’re free to look like idiots bhahaha
@@StoneyRidgeFarmer Josh, YOU are a long way from being an idiot! I see You operate all of the tractors, back-hoes and other mech gear and my eyes bug-out and my jaw about hits the floor! You ROCK DUDE!
You said 1st Generation Farm. Ok, but who taught you about raising cattle or laying water pipes ? Or chickens 🐔 eat bugs 🐛 out of manure ? GREAT VIDEO 📹❤😎👍💯🚜🐎🐃🐃🐔😋💩💩🐔
