If you had $333,000, would you flip a coin to either have $5 or $750,000? I guess if you're rich and the money doesn't mean anything to you, then it's actually a +EV move. But for most people going from $5 to $333,000 is a way bigger value than going from $333,000 to $750,000.
Yeah, $333'000 is 66'600 times more than $5 and just about half of 750'000, there's no way I would have no dealed. Maybe countered with 375'000, but I doubt that

#2 played the game EXACTLY the right way. One in the hand is worth two in the bush. If she said no deal and the next case opened was the $500,000 then her deal would have dropped, she made a smart move for a guarantee of $165,000, well played!!
I would've dealt at the last offer of $302K (assuming the banker would've actually offered that), since there was a safety net up until that point and $302K was well above EV.

*opens case*
“girl!”

Please bring this show back ASAP!! My favorite show and I miss it so much!!
Well u got your wish
Thank-you so much! Seen the new one last night!!! @@jpbproductions3872
Jesus Christ, I felt that last one man
Dude got owned 😂
I remember watching the 3rd clip with my mom on tv, we both cringed when we saw what he got
Poor guy
Buy a single shot of house Whiskey at Applebees
I remember there was this game in the timezone area in the mall...i saw deal or no deal there and i just pressed the deal button and ran as fast as i can...few minutes later when i came back some kind was crying already there lol....
I saw it on TV too and I was happy that he lost because greed got to him that shows you not to be greedy it's one of the seven deadly sins!
$5 worth of tissues wouldnt suffice for the shyt move he pulled... karma got his counter offer drama real good...
Seeing someone fail and still walk away with $25K when it should be basically nothing isn’t satisfying to watch.
He could go at least $100,000(Take the deal with a price of $75,000 plus an $25,000 from the sponsor as a present)
I'm 2 year late but can we just appreciate how beautiful the Christmas version are?
Christmas decoration sometimes looks cheesy for me personally but the stage look absolutely divine, and the graphic with deep red tone and metal looks sleek.
LOL the last one is hilarious. 333K nope! what was he thinking
Can’t wait when this show comes back on June 12 !!!
There was this one guy who won 10 dollars, that one should've been number 2 insted of the lady who won 160k
Yeah sure theres way worse contestants. She just didn't understand the odds were in her favor to double the amount.
I bet the 3rd guy thought since it was the Christmas special maybe they thought it would be a happy ending. 🤦🏽♀️
But he was on the naughty list.
For a game about pure luck, there really isn’t a fail
"your gonna get 10 dollars"
yeah, he's gonna walk out with 10 dollars
this is my counter..NO DEAAAAL!!!
Takes 5 and goes to sleep..
😂😂😂
Was badass the way he did it though
5 dollars don't even buy you 4 dollars lol
don’t be greedy and bad things won’t happen y’all !! #Preach🎙️🗣️🎙️🗣️
ok third guy.
everyone was shouting: take the deal,
then why dont he take deal? he wouldve easily earned one of the highest amount of money in that round, and the odds were stacked against him
Swag yolo money man he made the right play , he got away richer than he came
@@youtubegimme8646 Logic and math would disagree with you
@@kaylasheppard7746 he made a dollar din he
I'm sure he spent money (more than $5) while on the trip, so, no. Still negative money, still foolish of him to not accept the deal.
Even could've counter offered
6:23 "Even when you lose everything, State Farm is there"
Counter offer? I didn’t know this was new.
Yanks love to ruin TV shows from the UK. You don't need me to tell you that USA MasterChef got the contestants making hamburgers for kids parties while the UK version was actually cooking food in high-end restaurants. Or how about our sitcoms like The Office? It's not the citizens of the USA that is dumb; it's the TV executives that dumb down the shows that affects the audience. 'Murica!!!
Yeah it’s one of the newer episodes
I don't understand the point of making a counter offer in the last offer tho, like the 3rd one wanted to do.
Imagine a sec you make a counter offer:
-if your case contains more than the counter offer, the bank will accept it
-if your case contains less than the counter offer, the bank will decline it
@@soupe2000 there's no way for the Bank to know what's in the case, that would be influencing the game and would be seen as rigging an outcome, game shows take great pains to avoid those allegations since rigging a game is illegal. It's why so many game shows are so strict about stuff such as not allowing contestants to leave their waiting rooms without an escort.
@@MattZRJSRoxy In the french version, the bank knows exactly what's in every case. They even play with it, making complety stupid offers, and calling for a bluff.
They can offer a ridiculously low amount of money when you have still a ton of very high sum of money cases on board to try to make you think you have nothing in your case, to make you accept the low offer while you could've continued. They also do the opposite just to disgust you when you NO DEAL all offerd because you thought they were bluffing, but you end up with a lot less than what they offered you. It's counter bluff
This has nothing to do with rigging the show, it only makes it more interesting
George should've countered between $60,000-$70,000 with that $53,000 after he knocked out the million
Should've taken 120k lol
Maybe so, but I do think countering was the right thing to do in that situation.
@@luke_222 What about that safety net he had? I would also have said No Deal.
Second lady was a winner. 165,000 is not a fail in the slightest.
She literally could have had 500,000 if I handed you 165,000 and 500,000 which 1 would you take
@@MichaelSchumacherfan91if you handed me 165k or a 1/5 chance of getting 500k I know what I’d be picking.
@morbideddie no not a gamble if I just said 2 you in the street here's 165,000 and 500,000 you don't have 2 do anything I just handed it 2 you what would you rather have
@@MichaelSchumacherfan91 so what you’re saying is that if the rules of the game were totally different then the result would be different? Ok, fair point. But what if the rules of the game were like the rules of the game?
The last guy got really greedy 🤣
The last one was just that older male nurse episode but 2019 version. when he has $1 and $1million, had an offer of over 400k but said no deal.
619 WWE FAN Well, at least the nurse had $10K from his heartbeat challenge.
Steve Fleshman idc about that, he still deserves to lose it.
Knocks out the last highest number at $400k... Family member goes "thats ok! thats ok!" lol
the ones who are greedy always lose.
It’s so satisfying to see greedy people lose everthing in front of their eyes
6:40 she was ready to break up with him when he lost that 400,000😂😂
#3 with a dry smile getting $5. Lol 🤣
Grill Wasabi Sushi Channel wah, wah, wah, wah......
gambling addiction will leave u broke. his wife left him lol
The pause at the start of 11:28 is epic. Yes, 2 wasn't really an "epic fail", as she still walked away with more money than a lot of ppl have, and she just wasn't greedy. Still, given the context of the show - making the right decision regarding your case vs the banker's offer - it does fit as example. It's just the opposite direction from the more typical greedy ones like the last guy.
You need 3 big numbers left to continue playing with offers in your favor. When there’s only 2 big numbers left you’re playing the bankers game.
The last one “NO DEAL!!!” He so left her after taking that advice from her lmao
I don't get why the last guy didn't counter...Probably could've walked way with $375k
That’s exactly what I would counter at!
Forget countering, I would just take the Deal!
@@petercolbeysgameshowmania7176 There were final offers of over $400K when there’s a low amount and $750K left except this game! I would make it fair and counter here for $375K.
That'd be pushing it-that's exactly the average of the two remaining cases. Probably could've gotten $350k. $17k more than the offer but still $25k below the average. It's the perfect counter.
countering is even too risky at that point because the banker doesn’t have to say deal. if the banker says no deal, you have to keep playing
The last one was a riot! Who does such a dumb deal! WOW!
Richie Bell....
Im so glad the 3rd only took 5 dollars, you wouldnt you take the deal, there no need to be so greedy
everyone that comes on this show doesn't know how taxes work or probabilities.
In Canada you're not taxed on winnings as in the US
Yeah. But this show is in America
Plus, you Canadians tried a version hosted by Howie, and that didn't go so well.
why are taxes relevant to this video? larger winnings are still larger after taxes
fail number 2, where she took the 165k.
There is NO WAY the offer should have been over 300k when the two cases left were 500k and 10 bucks
It should be less than 250k
Yes, they just did that to make her regret her decision.
Not true I’ve watched quite a few episodes and sometimes the offer is more than half the amounts added up. They just want to buy your case at less than its value and 300k+ is more convincing to the player than 250k if they have a high chance of holding onto the 500k
The #2 is all but a fail, its the best decision! She was smart! We say in French "un tiens vaut mieux que deux tu l’auras" or "A bird in hand is worth two in the bush" for you
That last guy I'd be surprised if his wife hasn't left him he obviously doesn't make smart decisions and willing to gamble their lives away
7:00 had me laughing so hard!😆
The last one doesn't make any logical sense. I would only really take a chance with a 50/50 if there was 750k and like 250k. I can do a lot with either amount.
The second last one wasn’t unlucky. It’s what your supposed to do. She got 125000. That’s a huge win. It’s like the casino - you get in and get out. The chances of wining between 4 00 thousand and a million are very rare. It was a good move. The last one was unbelievably dumb. That’s the type of player casinos want
Don’t forget about the dude with $1 and $1,000,000
I know
Even crazier if it was the penny and the million and he didn't get the $10k bonus.
Greed is def. not good. The second player still walked out that room with a lot of money compared to the third guy who is very greedy 🙂
Wow the new set up looks so much better I loved the old set up with the red light when the banker calls and so on but I can dig this
imagine taking a 50/50 chance of $750,000 when you could’ve taken $333,000 guaranteed lmao
Woah that $333,000 can buy you 16 houses in my country
@@liamii5603 my country is worth 900k average
Where do you guys live?? It would buy exactly half of my shanty lol
#2 wasn't really an epic fail...
Terence Attema yes all it was that half a million was in their case nothing else wasn’t disappointing or fail #2 should be Kristen Tex cause she went home with only $750
not a epic fail like the other 2, however she couldve doubled her prize. Her family didnt guide her to the smarter option.. She was in maybe the best possible situation you can be in on the show.
Number 3 is 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😆😆😅😅
He already enjoyed his 5 dollars LOL
hes such a germaphobe i would how many times you gotta tell excited contestants dont touch howie lol
just because he is 1 doesn't mean that he won't allow others to touch him, there were tons of times in the old run where he would allow contestants and even their supporters to give him hugs
The fact you put that as the title for this video, earned you a follow
13:54 soo.. where is the queue to punch this guy?
Some WSB dude the last one🤣
The last one was harsh 😭
Fully deserved, show offs dont deserve big money
The last guy must be a right plant pot.
50/50 chance you go home with just $5 if you no deal, compare to $333k in your pocket guaranteed.
It's a no-brainer
the 2nd one, "whats she callin for" (thinking she got this on lock) lol
The first guy chose 2 of the unluckiest numbers ever, 6and 13
13 symbolizes Death
Does anyone know what season and episode is the first clip?
I like the original models and the original banker and the original soundtrack.
Same Claudia Jordan was my favorite model
liking this since I agree. Leyla, Anya, Sara, Pilar, Ursula and Katie were some of my favorites BUT Lauren, Jenelle and Megan weren't bad either, that's the Megan that returned for this run as well
If walking out with 165k more than i walked in with is a fail...sign me up!
the value would be 222k
It's interesting how folks get greedy and act hurt when their bubbles burst.
@14:30 the look on her face says "what were you thinking"
You dont gamble those odds. Numbers too far apart. This guy is a selfish fool. He would of blown the money anyway
Three hundred and thirty three thousand dollars! Deal or no deal? Me: Write the check! I'm gonna warm up the truck. 😂
