Right, so apologies in advance the filming is a little off on this one and you get that annoying clicky noise for a bit. (don't worry Phil, we still love you)
This is a card routine where I find all of the cards from a suit in order. It's a fun one. I used to use this as a closer when competing in card magic competitions.

Thanks for watching! New video next week!
watching this compared to the one he did with dodie u can see how much more confidence he's gained it makes me happy :)
To be fair, the crowd in this one is totally dead. Dodie was super excited, and it made the whole trick more lively.
Thank you very much. I completely agree with you. I do deliberately make sure the routine doesn't look too polished. Especially with doing the "12,3,4,5,6 and 7 cuts to hopefully get the 7". I can do it a lot smoother but once I messed it up a little bit and the impact went up so starting subtly restructuring the routine. Awesome that you've picked up on that! :)
This is actually really humbling to see. The trick is still amazing but you can tell this was a new trick he's been practicing for weeks. Even on a hobbyist level I hope to achieve this level of skill one day.
I've just now heavily gotten into "magic" and yes, you actually can! It gives you so much more presence than if you were just a normal every day person
I love the whole "everybody dancin" bit at the end
Its more about creating the suspense that magic is actually occurring. He knows exactly where the cards are. Good magic is about acting and feeling it. Nice work. :)
Thanks very much. Wasn't sure if people would like this video as much, very glad you liked it!
I had this realisation a few months ago. I'm really glad that someone else has noticed.
Glad you liked it! Was a little nervous for this one but good to see people enjoyed it.
Thanks mate, Nice suggestion. Yeah i've been thinking a lot about this routine since then. I've had a lot of feedback, negative and positive on the routine. I'm not sure if it would benefit more from being stripped back into something simpler. Lots to think about.
That means so much Marcus. Thank you very much! It's an honour to be compared to someone like Dynamo, means a lot that you think that. I've had the pleasure of meeting Dynamo, such a great guy. Very skilled magician, really cool guy. He taught me his trick where the deck of cards cuts itself in half and the card jumps out. I love that trick, it's one of the videos in a few weeks time so hopefully you'll enjoy that. :)
Thanks for commenting :)
Thanks so much for the kind words. Means a lot! :)
Thank you! Glad you liked it.
I like your trick. I don't know if it's intentional, but the bit of fumbling on the flare is actually pretty charming, I think it makes you more relateable. Seeing someone who manipulates cards perfectly like they're superhuman kind of takes away from the experience - yeah it might seem like more magic, but there's no tension. If there are perceived imperfections in the routine, if gives you a sort of possibility of failure which is very engaging.
I discovered your channel few days ago, and wow... With Michael Vincent you are my favourite magicans! I love your style
Thanks very much glad you liked it! :)
Glad you liked it :) Thanks for commenting.
Damn! Very nice! I know the trick where you pull four aces, but never seen one where you pulled out an entire suit of cards! Jolly good show!
Sleight of hand always blows me away. Great routine!
If it makes you feel any better, I'm never gonna give up watching your videos.
I enjoy looking your old videos so much! And i gotta say, you've grown as a magician!
In fact, your "one day of a streer magician" has inspired me to go in a mall and perform for strangers. And it was freaking awesome!
Thank you, it's a really fun trick to perform!
This was awesome dude. Seriously good magic !
Thanks for the feedback. I see what you mean about the lack of perfection and i'll take that on board. I actually can perform the routine a lot smoother but I deliberately make some bits looks 'sloppy' as to emphasise the difficulty. I personally feel for a sleight of hand based routined its good to demonstrate the skill and emphasise the difficulty. Saying that I definitely agree, this was not a great performance. Either way thanks for the feedback. Have a nice day :)
He knew where EVERY card was at ALL times.
Glad you liked it! Yeah I really like sleight of hand magic. Revealing tattoos?
Thanks! Glad you liked that part. :D
That was just pleasure to watch. That shows, little things can be amazing, when you do it smoothly and right time. I know exactly what you are doing, but still i learned so much about doing these moves smoothly. Great performance, keep going!
Thanks! :D More with people on the way!
Thanks mate. This is one of those things that is a lot more detectable on video than it is when you watch it live. If you see something like this live, its hard to see how any of it is done because the magician can direct your attention. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it though!
If you don't mind me asking did you find this video on reddit? I've just seen theres been a really random spike in views. If you could please post the link or tell me what to search for id really appreciate it?
One of the greatest magic trics.... You are awesome brother..... You are funny , great , cute and so creative.... God bless you
Ah cool! Sheffield is a lovely place!
I love their look at the very end! great performance Steven! :)
I caught it all, but really really nice and clean! Amazing performance!
This was very professional and very impressive, excellent job well done!!
Before watching this ,I thought you were born with a beard.
ракоb hahahaha
Honestly same.
:) Glad you liked it! Thanks for commenting.
Funny you should say that, we spent that night (or the night before, not sure) playing about 7 hours of poker lol. Loads of different people came and went, was a really fun game. But yeah, people trust me when it comes to poker. :)
Amazing. This is the kinda magics I like. You know it's skill based rather than deceit like many other magicians use ( revealing tattoos anyone?!)
Yeah, I sort of didn't want it to look too polished so that it looked difficult. If i'd done everything perfectly I think some of the impact may have been lost. Thanks very much for your feedback though. :)
Hi Stjustyle.
Thanks very much for your comment. To be perfectly honest, this performance is by no means a fair representation of my card handling ability. I actually do deliberately act a bit 'sloppy' at certain points but this is to emphasise the difficulty of the trick. If you look at some of my other video's you'll see some much smoother handling. I'm very surprised out of all my videos that this is the one that has got the most attention, which is why I have left it online. Thanks again :)
It was a beautiful performance and as for the actual trick most magicians at at least the intermediate level can follow it great work.
lol thanks. I'm really surprised this video of all my videos was posted on reddit but hey.
i know how you did it. the card was all in order up top. but your card handling is just perfect. couldnt do a better presentation myself. well played :D
Ricky Jay is legendary. Gregory Wilson created the effect I've performed here though :) Similar plot.
Thanks. Gregory Wilson does it a lot better, it's based on his routine off his video 'Card Stunts' although i've changed some parts. =]
I know how you found the cards, just how you did it was brilliant.
the deck was *loaded*
Thank you, glad you liked it! Yeah Gregory Wilson is a legend. haha, i'll pass the message on to Phil.
Steven does this trick again with Dodie - it's one of my favourite videos because it gets such an incredible reaction. It's amazing how you have progressed and are so much more confident and so much better at performing! Love seeing how you started out. Your audience didn't seem very at ease being filmed.
Why thank you! Yeah they really weren't
you are amazing! you deserve at least 100,000 subscribers!
keep up the good work!
Thanks! Yeah it was funny, they reacted after the camera went off. Do you ever get that? The pressure of the camera suppresses the reaction?
Thank you so much! Next video next wednesday - I'm really excited about it actually, people seem to love the trick... :)
haha. She's lives with my mate Phil. (ruclips.net/user/philjohnsonfilms)
I'll pass on your nice comment :)
I saw what you did once or twice but you are amazing. Much better than me!
Thank you, much appreciated!
Thanks!
Thanks very much!
Ah that's nice, thanks :)
I say "1, 2, 3 and 4 cuts to get the 10, the Jack, the Queen and the King. And that is that..... everybody dancing"
Lol I have no idea why I said 'everybody dancing'.
Michael Vincent is phenomenal. I'm no where near his level, but thank you :)
haha yeah what am I on about. The amount of times I randomly burst into song is ridiculous lol
Thanks :)
wow, very fast and clean! Great performance!
Thanks very much. Yeah it's a really fun one to perform ain't it!
Thanks very much. Yeah it's hard to get it perfect every time, especially when the pressure is on because of being filmed :)
You are definitely one of my favourite magicians ever, and if anyone asks me my top 2 favourite magicians, I would say Dynamo and StevenBridgesTV! I have liked all your videos, I have tried my best to comment on all your videos. I don't ever really subscribe to people on RUclips, unless they are really really good, but I am going to subscribe to you... DEFINITELY!!!! Can't wait for next video. Great!
Nice, the concept of the trick is pretty simple but in order to have variety you need a lot of technique. I do a similar trick to this one for my friends but with many less cuts.
Thank you! :D
I also noticed there is a large butted join running thru the centre. I would find that very irritating for spreads and coin magic. I built my own table which folds up but there is no seam and it measures 40 x 60 cms. Perfect for cups and balls. It mounts on a camera tripod and is very stable. I can make you one if you like.
hehe, i'd never cheat at poker. ;D One time I was playing poker in a casino, normally I tell people I'm a magician but this time I forgot. One guy came over to the table and said "You guys realise this guy is a magician?". Everyone at the table flipped out. :P
Was thinking it would be cool to film some At The Card Table stuff in an actual casino. What do you guys think? :)
It's a bit of a long shot as Casino's do not like filming but if I said 'pleeeeeeease' they might let me ;D
thats an awesome trick, i love how you got the wrong card on purpose so that you could make the right appear out of nowhere
Ummm, thanks for the comment.
So does mine :O Thanks for commenting :)
Hello stephen bridges of the past
Nice work. I like that you explained what subscribing is, it will get you allot more viewers, I remember when I didn't even know what it was and never clicked it when people asked.
Hi, thanks for your question. Could you please elaborate a bit? Did you mean how did I locate the 8 or how did they manage to find it? :)
Thanks so much! hehe well we shall see how it goes. :)
Thanks Jamie :)
Very entertaining and thanks so much for sharing your skills
Great work dude.. The practise is paying off ;)
Thanks Jemma :)
Yes... Yes you can.
Ok. So you were here in 2012? Oh my god you were good at the get-go!! Fantastic technique! hope to meet you one day when I travel to London! Would love to session! Sune, MCN, Oslo
Man I can do that now after watching your video 10 times.
Thanks very much! :)
Thank you :D
Nope sorry but if you PM I can recommend good sources to get started in magic.
awesome, I wish I knew how to do tricks like that, so impressive !
that dude with the beanie is just way to damn cool for magic
Sick magic tricks man :D
Thank you, I think my performance could have been a lot better but kind of you to say :)
yeas, it happens very often, unfortunately. but I can see they well very impressed even if they didn't express it so much at first
pretty good false shuffles man almost got fooled there for a while :D
This is so awesome. Is there any way you could do a review and show us all your tricks?:)
Simple tricks done very well in a good performance, one thing I might add though is rhythm and suspense, slow it down a tad and make it look harder, while doing that will add suspense in your audience , also make them pick some cards, do it in their hands and watch their expressions go from that was amazing to holy crap wtf just happened in my hands
Awesome dude! You should end every video with a dance.
awesome. i love this one.
Dude that's so badass, if you could show us a tutorial to this trick it'd be amazing !
And apparently shift and enter doesn't work either. '__' Anyway.... To be honest I don't believe in magic tutorials on RUclips. It's an art based on secrets so i'm not really a fan of just posting those secrets online... However, I can recommend a bunch of great books etc if you wan't to learn the sort of stuff in this video. Send me a PM if you're interested. :)
Very sharp mate. Looks like you have put in a lot of hours on tho and happy it is paying off for you. Good to see somebody doing what they enjoy. Mark T in OZ
haha thanks. My friend once made a meme type pic that said "Good Guy Bridges... Frapes you... With nice messages.:
If you don't mind me asking how did you find this video? I've just seen theres been a really random spike in views. If you could please post the link it would be really useful.
That was so badass man, if you could show a tutorial to this trick holy crap that'd be amazing.
you need to freaking teach me these!
