Tom is the perfect magician's guest. You KNOW he's for real and his reactions are genuine.
Great video! Watching you slowly ruin Tom Scott's sanity was excellent. 10/10
+Matt Austin hahah that was the goal!
The sleight of hand here is absolutely insane. I see him do the first bit and go "Oh. Any amateur can do that trick". Then Tom signed the card and everything after was impossible to distinguish. I can see some moves here and there, but they don't correlate to what's happening.. I'm sure I could go through the video frame by frame and figure it out but why bother? This is so damn near perfect. I have not seen anyone as good in a long while.
Thank you!
StevenBridges i didn't get this at first and after thousands of tries to figure it out I think I've finally got it and very well done cos it's DONE really well!😀
I think you just thought like that on the first part because he was covering Tom's angles but not the camera ones. I saw through most of the techniques he used but he does it brilliantly both in technique as in performance...
+themaun Sure, but it's also child's play. I'm not a magician by any stretch, but even I know how to do those bits fairly easily. So when I see a supposedly good magician/sleight of hander use techniques even I know, it doesn't exactly impress me. But like I said, everything after the signature was absolutely massively impressive. I don't know how he did it, and I don't want to know. I'm satisfied with it just blowing my mind
+themaun I'm not sure what point you're trying to present here..
As an aspiring magician who pretty much knows how these tricks are done I think it's cooler than being in the dark and wondering how he does it because of the incredible amount of skill that some of this stuff takes. Being able to move and speak so quickly while still executing these sleights perfectly is just art.
Tom Scott being in the thumbnail is, at this point, clickbait :P
yep
It certainly is if you completely throw out the meaning of the word clickbait :P
Tom Scott's in the thumbnail, could be clickbait
Tom Scott's in every f***ing frame in the video, can't be clickbait
clickbait is just something that makes you click. It doesn't have to be inappropriate, I think.
Well yeah, he's red and he's pointing, like an arrow
when this video was made tom didnt have that many subs
Alright Steven, you've had your fun! Now put the laws of physics down and stop mucking around.
Najey Rifai There's a time and place for mucking around.
How is Tom Scott everywhere in the world at once?
TARDIS?
Oh this is nothing, dude. Just you wait till 2020. ♥️🍍
@@odyseya You've fully convinced me that Tom is actually The Doctor
But did you notice Tom change his shirt?
hahahaa

?
@@ToMeK3001pro this might be referring to a Ted Talk regarding misdirection. I suggest you look it up if you enjoyed this video (which I did, by the way.)
@@Franco0510 I watched this because of the TED talk one😂😂😂
No, but I saw the gorilla walk across the shot lol
Absolutely staggering performance Steven, such a great routine with so many awesome stages to it, nicely done!
+NewGreenShoe Cheers mate!
The youtube speed option is the death of magic.
+Tim Warburton-Roberts ikr fml.
+StevenBridges Even at a quarter speed though it took over 20 replays to figure it out, amazing display.
+Tim Warburton-Roberts can you tell us what you figured out?
+StevenBridges That is if you don't find that it's rather funny that playing it at half speed makes everyone sound drunk.
+samramdebest I only found the one where he puts it in his pocket the first time, but that one was obvious, however you can only see the card at 0.25 speed. Couldn't find the rest tho...
Most of the tricks looks like is based on he actually having the card in his hand when he put his hand in the pocket, or having the card in his hand before he touched the box, and shaking in a way that you dont see where it really comes from.
I sort of see how he do it, but it must have taken hell of a lot time to learn to do it that good without being too slow or screwing something up.
And its also true with the back pocket thingy, just that the card you see when he turns his ass to the camera, isnt the right one.
Sorry if I spoiled more than +StevenBridges want to
I have zero interest in understanding how magic is done, I just love being deceived by someone who knows what they're doing. Good stuff.
+Vincent Costa Thank you! I think that's the best attitude to have when watching magic. :)
The thing is, even when we know what he's doing and we can reverse the video over and over, it's still really hard to see it because it's that good! That's what's incredible to watch.
Just realised that the first one was an even better demonstration of misdirection than I thought-
This to date is one of the best routines I've seen you do, sometimes I come back to it every now and again just for the sheer awesomeness of it.
+NewGreenShoe Ah thanks man! It's funny that it was born from a pretty intense brainstorm/practicing session with Ollie. Sometimes it's great to be locked in a room working on magic with another performer and no distractions. :)
I watched this video a couple of times last year and excitedly shared it with friends. Fast-forward to this year. Now I am more savvy about card handling. After a few recent viewings I could figure out how each effect could be done. Now I wish I could go back in time and un-learn magic techniques: this was so well performed that I want that wonderful sense of jaw-dropping amazement and mystery back.
Really well put together routine made even sweeter by the irony of the biggest misdirection being that you say you're using misdirection, when so much of it is actually other techniques. Very entertaining!
This might be my new favourite trick of yours, Steven! I LOVE the fast pace of it. It messes with my brain and it's wonderful.
+Joel Blundell Thanks so much Joel! Was really fun coming up with this.
poor tom looked so confused throughout the video lol
You two are really fun on camera together. This was nuts. You're too good.
+The RH Experience Thanks :D
StevenBridges Steven bridges double you tee efff. Where the fuck have you been you haven't uploaded in months bro. Smfh shaking my FUCKING head ughhhhhhhhhhh all the way from Long Island New York
I saw through only a few of them, but there are still points that I couldn't get. But honestly, the feeling you get when you figure out even a little part of the trick is amazing.
I keep coming back to this one! For sure one of my favourites.
Dude. You are amazing. Amazing. Even when i go back and watch the bit again, you are unbelievably fast. Props to you man. It's amazing!
Your tricks never fail to amaze me and this one was no exception! Amazing!! :D loved this!
that was incredible!!!!! I love how fast paced it was and that you explained stuff that was AWESOME
Oh man, this is SOOOO well done. I am officially shocked and awed.
Great video, Steven! Love all of your content, keep on doing amazing things!
this is my favorite video of yours ever. So simple, yet mindblowingly beautiful tricks.
Steven! I watched this video with a massive smile on my face! Amazing skills and very entertaining video :)
Haha! Loved this! So great to see you back in action! :D That was a dizzying experience!! =)
Absolutely fantastic work!!! Of course with the benefit of rewind and slo-mo few magicians can overcome - but you did a fantastic job!
This is in many ways far more satisfying to work out.... this is so skilled!!!!
Not only is the magic fantastic, but I love the routining and originality you put on all your performances.
As a magician I knew how most of this works, but it's still so entertaining to watch! Nice one :D
+Tom King Really glad you enjoyed it!
it has been 3 months since I first watched this video and I finally figured it out. Well done.
M1lkweed 761 the final color change ?
YESS! One of the first routines i could figure out.
Great work man!
When I first got into magic, I watched this and was amazed, but now that I've been practicing, almost a year into slight of hand now, I'm able to see a lot of what he's doing! Steve is still amazing, and he takes advantage of Tom getting ahead of himself! I love it!
Nice that you could watch it and be amazed and now learn something from it this time on :)
I really, really loved it! Keep being awesome please!
Damn, that was A LOT of tricks into one single act. Great job man... Solid moves and great routine!
I'm running out of shocked words to comment on your videos. I'm amazed!
+Gary C Thanks Gary!
the brilliant bit is Tom has spent so lmuch time in his corner of YT (great corner BTW 10/10) the first thing he thinks is "You know they'll be freezeframing and comparing signatures".
Mad props for the part where it goes into the box and is shaken out. That takes balls considering the deck color. Amazing bro.
Saw you on Tom's channel... That trick was awesome! I saw some of it, but that doesn't take away from your presentation! Spot on 😀
I love this video, hadn't watched it in years and it made me happy I love how baffled Tom is
Absolutely incredible video :O I honestly don't understand how you did that, and now I'm contemplating reality. Thank you for the great video! :D
I tried to make the video go slower and watch very carefully;.. still have no idea what happened...
I love working out how tricks are done just by rewatching and trying to follow sleight of hand etc and this was impressive! I'm proud of myself that I caught all the palms, only one I can't see how it's done is the first one with the (unsigned) card under the box unless it was a duplicate and force. Really good video!
Yeah. Pretty sure a dup for that one
legitimately a amazing demonstration of misdirection well done.
Perfect timing actually, thanks man! And I subscribed to Tom, too!
Replaying this over and over to try and figure out how he does it haha
ONE OF THE BEST CARD ROUTINES IVE EVER SAW "MIND THE CAPS LOCK" it's because i was screaming 😂❤️ loved it !
+Khaled Alarabi Thank you very much!
Man i love to see u!! In some case i can follow your hands but, you re so fater!! You're awesome!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
That ending just ruined my life. Love it man!!
+Tufayl Myburgh haha thank you!
I know exactly how you did all of it. Tom's brilliant reactions are why I won't explain it 😅
Very clean! Enjoyed this!
As always, awesome work Steven! :)
Wow, very well done. Didn't see the kicker coming at the end! Great job on the method, you definitely got me a few times, and that doesn't normally happen! 10/10.
+amz fishman Thank you!
Thanks for sending me here Tom!
Steven you are so amazing!! That trick was awesome!
I figured this out AND THIS IS AN AMAZING ROUTINE EVEN WHEN I KNOW HOW TO DO IT OMG STEVEN
Really good video!
I was able to follow all your movements and figure out the tricks :) Though I did have to rewatch the part when you had the whole deck in your pocket. Also had to rewatch the "deck swap" a couple of times to figure it out.
Actually feels great to be able to understand all the tricks for once haha
Ok, after watching several times, I got everything but the color change... loved every minute of it ^^
Such simple moves but performed so flawlessly
Dude! Love your performances--great flow
Nice work Steven , this is my card opener when I approach tables , love it , great performance . A bit of Mr Brown in there ? :)
"Get oooouuuut" hah
We love you Tom
The only time I like shouting at my screen "nooooo waaaay" is while watching magic videos XD I never wanna know how you do it XD
That's a really great routine. I saw some of the sleight of hand. But the ending was great. Good job.
The signature was always done on the red card and not the blue one, if you freeze frames and watch closely, you can pretty well make out the whole sequence and his pure sleight of hands combined with misdirection. Amazing......
I had never seen such a impressive performance. congrats!!
+Oriol V Well that is one hell of a compliment! Thank you!
That was insane! Great job.
really smart routine, and perfectly done
nice application of simple priciples. that's just beautiful
Bloomin' amazing! So talented and what an great talent to have! :D
+laurasobsession Thanks Laura!
That was very well done. never explain it.
simply amazing!!
This was fantastic!!
You're a miracle Steven.
That was fantastic!
Steven, you're still killing it, you are honestly the best.
Haven't talked to you for a while! How've you been! I just noticed you hit 75K! AMAZING! Been with you since at least 500 lol.
+CoinHuntingDrew Thanks so much man nice to see you in the comments! Yeah I totally remember you from the early days and I really appreciate you supporting my little channel as it's grown! :D
Love this!
Steven Bridges...proving speed and confusion is magic
Great routine!
AWESOME! I saw some of the moves but you still did a really awesome job!
Very good ACR! Well performed.
Beautiful routine and loved the kicker ending
I'm new to your channel, I'm sure I saw your videos somewhere but I don't know where lol
I love your work, congratz for 100k subs
I was able to catch it one time... and that is it it doesn't matter how many times i replay it.....
must watch over and over until I have seen it all happen.
+Hayley Jeffs this is witchcraft.
very good performance.
I really like to watch the reaction from people after seeing your trick :)
i spotted every bit of the trick because i was looking for it but in person you totally would have blown my mind. amazing job Steven you are getting better every video i see thanks. thanks
+brocksdaddy081910 Thanks Brock!
+StevenBridges /Brocks Dad!
That's a great effect!
I will personally fight the dislike person.
+Amy Shadows
You'll need some help going head to head with 9 people, consider me an ally.
10 now. I might as well join in.
I'll bring popcorn
AdenineMonkey
Bring a few baseball bats too, 4v16 means we could use a little edge. :D
+Amy Shadows
A recruitment drive is needed.
There are apparently 24 of them and 16 of us right now (i.e. upload dislikes versus your comment likes.)
you know, I learned a lot of good tricks from your videos so thank you
This was great. I knew most of the things and stil lI had to watch some parts twice.
Got all the moves just wondering when he switched the back color the card he was using to act as the cover for a full deck must’ve had some adhesive on the back and taken the false blue backing off the card (it was red all along and forced)
Saw how most is done. But still amazing
This genuinely made me happy. :)
Nice camera trick with the deck! ;)
I'm am, of course, referring to the one at 0:08
+888SpinR hahha woah it vanished!
Damn, you're good. So fast, so smooth, so far ahead. You just forgot to cover one move for the camera, but I saw nothing else without rewinding (and still don't know how you did many of the steps). I just wish you would teach your techniques.
Do you mean how he put the whole deck into his back pocket while taking out the one with Tom's name? Yeah, but I have no idea how it got to the other one :D
ou, now thinking about it, it was the red deck :D
If you replay it's pretty easy to see how he did the one with the front pocket, the one inside the box and the one with the whole deck. In rest it's beyond my understanding.
This was amazing.... it looks like he has tiny portals hidden in his wrists XD
I saw a couple of those but wow that was good. i mean it's a rehearsed routine so obviously it's perfect, but some of those setups were whole minutes in advance of the actual reveal
