What I don’t understand is why we don’t have Nacho Fries permanently on the menu here in the US because we absolutely love them. Also adding loaded nacho fries to the US menu would be a big hit because again we love Nacho Fries and it looks so damn delicious!

Former Taco Bell GM here, at least two years ago, you could get a side of rice. It may not actually be on the menu, but we served them frequently
US Taco Bells have had nacho fries a few times, but they're always temporary menu items. We also had the grillers (a few types, including the ones shown in this video) for many years, but I think they finally discontinued them.

To those who didn't know, we've actually had Taco Bell in the UK for many years, it started in the late '80s where a few branches opened in London but subsequently closed, the franchise then came back in 2010 only a few stores opened and all were in England but outside of London, they then further expanded to Scotland in 2017 and then finally came back to London in 2018. The franchise is still expanding across the UK but so far there are only 39 branches.
We have 2 Taco Bell's in Cardiff now.
There's about 100 restaurants in the UK now currently.
Ahhhh that's why i couldn't find any last time I was visiting London. Just saw the map, there are at least 20 tacos in greater London now. Will be there in a month so I'm looking forward to grab a bite in one of those. Unfortunatelly there's noTaco Bell in my country.

The beefy nacho griller here in the US was basically the same as the Beefy Frito Burrito. Only difference, Frito chips instead of nacho chips. It was amazing and now it's no longer on the menu.

Going to Taco Bell in the US is always a surprise. Our menu changes monthly, with new items coming in and others leaving.
For instance, we will only have fries available for a few months out of the year, and then they will leave for a year or so. They do it so people say “Oh, Nacho Fries are back at Taco Bell. I love those, and I need to get them before they leave again!”
They will then be filled with ultimate regret as they spend the rest of their day in the restroom. Taco Bell is one of the healthiest fast food options though.
Until you visit Mexico and taste teal mexican food. Then farewell taco bell.

I tried Taco Bell back in 1991 in Chicago and loved it then and there. It was so different. I only ever wanted Taco Bell to open in my town in the UK.
29 years later, I finally got my wish.
I do however note there are much much better options for Mexican Food in the US and that Taco Bell is nothing compared to them but I still like Taco Bell.
