- We tried everything on the UK and US KFC menus to find out the big differences between the two. From the portion sizes to the calories, the difference between the two chains was pretty surprising. The popcorn chicken box in the US was almost four times the size of the UK's largest option.

Fun fact: The US version (or original version) of Mountain Dew is illegal in the EU since there is a restriction on some of the chemicals in it and because of the sugar-liquid ratio
So if you packed US Mountain Dew and flew to France. You'd have it siezed for safety of our mouths?
@@Cosmik60 Not sure about that, but I mean as long as you dont distribute the US Dew I think there shoudn't be an issue (if you even manage to transfer over 3.4oz of liquid via plane).
EU doesn’t believe in freedom of choice and is a nanny state
It was more about the brominated vegetable oil, which is not good for you and banned in the EU. But they removed that ingredient a few years ago. Sugar to liquid ratio has nothing to do with it. There are plenty of drinks being sold here with more sugar in it. In fact, I have bought imported Baja Blast last year here just fine
@@Cosmik60 Food outside the EU needs to be thrown out.
