Despite the controversy at its launch I’ve been running a 4070ti with a 13700k and it is a fantastic card. I’ve been mostly playing on an ultrawide 3440x1440 and some on a 4K tv and it is really
Impressive for the price (compared to current GPU market) obviously still too expensive but at this point I think it’s the best value for a higher end card

@@ryzendave9303 I think “best option” is subjective because if price isn’t a factor than obviously 4090/4080 would be better but for the price the 4070ti with the 5900x should be a very good upgrade over the 3070 at those resolutions. Also I’ve only ever had Nvidia cards and I like the features and software so maybe an AMD card is better at that price range in some ways but I just can’t speak to that personally

I just got the Arc750. So far it's pretty good. There are issues with HDR on some titles and youtube specifically (no hdr at 1080hd, it just frazzles the whole window, esp fullscreen). The driver updates have been noticeable improvements. I've played a few games and I don't notice any issues, everything is set to high. 12900k, 32 gb ddr5, 2tb ssd. Games run better at higher settings. Prior to the last update it would throw up a warning that it may not work but I didn't notice last night. The warning was boilerplate and did not ring true.

Super happy with going for the 4080 at a price that is way lower than normal - only $20 above the price of a 7900 XTX (*$180 OFF* thanks to the GameStop employee discount) for rasterization that trades blows with its competition, way better ray tracing, and DLSS.
Worst case scenario, even if the rasterization may be slightly worse at times, I’d much rather get the card that’s only slightly worse at times with rasterization, but WAY better when it comes to frame generation tech and ray tracing. It’s worth forking over just a measly extra $20 for the card that’s more well-rounded, especially for my first ever desktop gaming PC.

the i3 was always intel's little budget build card that packed a bit of a punch. Unfortunately I think those days are over as the quad-core CPU just isnt gonna cut it anymore. I'd look into the 12400h instead with its 6 cores, surprisingly good performance per dollar, and the fact that this is the lowest intel card you should be realistically running anymore (in a gaming PC).

Hi, can you recommend which CPU, GPU, memory and storage if I want to play FF7 remake and FF14 a realm reborn (after graphics update in the upcoming years) at 4K 120 FPS all the time? I just need to play these 2 games at 4k 120 FPS and RTX 4090 is too overpriced for that.

Hey out of curiosity I just built my first pc for gaming and whatever else she wants to use it for I used the ryzen 5600g because at the time I wasn’t sure I would be able to get a gpu quick but now I can I have the ryzen 5600g with a gigabyte a520m s2h and 16gb ram at 3200 what gpu do u recommend for this set up I keep coming across the Rx 6700 xt as a good option for this as she will be playing in 1080 and she also wants to play in 1440 the monitor is capable of that just need some recommendations on a gpu as I know nothing about any of this stuff thanks

I don't game nearly as much as I used to but want to get a new GPU. I'm still kickin' it with a 1070 Ti and it still gets the job done but I think it's time to get a new one. I don't have or need 4K. my monitors are just standard 1080p Dells that I have had for a while now. I have always been team green so I keep trying to convince myself to stay with them....but I refuse to pay over $500 for a GPU. My 1070 Ti cost me around $450. I also probably need to update the whole thing at this point as my current mb/cpu will be a bottleneck due to it's age and not PCIe 4. Any suggestions for me? Anyway I look at it I am going to need MB/CPU/GPU/RAM...ugh....I need a whole new build actually now that I think about it. Never mind...nothing to see here. :)

I play all genres of games from large scale strategy like stellaris, competitive shooters like Apex and looters like borderlands. Thank you 🙏🏼 looking at 2,500 on new egg trying to keep under 3k

Should be fine, just make sure your 5600 MT/s RAM has 28CL or better, sometimes you can find 6000 MT/s RAM at 30CL for similar price so don't be afraid to look at those speeds as well. Could probably save a bit of money switching to a Gigabyte or MSI motherboard. Current gen Gigabyte and MSI motherboards often have better build quality than the ASUS ones anyway, the Asus prime boards in particular have pretty weak VRMs and lackluster features compared to the offering from Gigabyte and MSI at a similar price point.

I bought myself a new 4k monitor being the first step to 4k gaming (not sure if its the monitors issue or just coincidence) like in this video i tested all the stats when playing a match in rocket league and it says that GPU runs no lower then 60% and as high as 85%, then my CPU isnt going no higher then 30% and my memory usage is at 60%. So if ive understood it correctly then the bottleneck would be my GPU?
