The caption is misleading there is no such thing as a ''Buddhist wedding''. This is more like a blend of several cultures or traditions. But this is a beautiful wedding. Bless you, both.
its sinhalese traditional wedding , so no problem to call it as buddhist wedding, cuz nearly 95% sinhalese are buddhists, and its bit westernized, sinhalese buddhists do not use alcohol in weddings
There is technically no such thing as a "Buddhist wedding". But we do have Thai weddings, Sinhalese weddings, German "Buddhist" weddings, Japanese "Buddhist" weddings. This wedding is mostly aligned with South Asian Buddhism than European traditions even though to me it has a mix of both.
@@jinidesilva6 Well not so traditional. There are no ' exchange of vows' in a Buddhist wedding . This is a modernised version with a blend of modified eastern and western traditions . They should not mislead viewers by calling this a traditional Buddhist wedding.

एक वर वधू मे लाज शरम होनी चाहिए. बुद्ध का धम्म नाच गाणे का नहीं है. शील पालन करना ही बुध्द के धम्म का सन्मान है.
