- ❌ It's hard to determine whether an email address is fake.
❌ Fake email address?
Determining if an email address is fake can be tricky and perhaps impossible. Be sure to pay attention to the actual email address, not the display name. Use whois tools to confirm the domain exists. Look for typos or misleading domains. Be cautious if the email content feels off. Scammers are clever; it’s hard to be 100% sure just based on the email address.

There may be clues. Or not.

Well said!
If there is a link in the received email that presents itself as something it's not, and something looks iffy to me, I right click on the link, often something different than what is displayed, and check the domain owner. Way more times than not, the domain is registered in eastern Europe, India, and Iceland. FWIW. Note: One must be ultra mindful about right click vs. left click.
Thank for the excelente video !
" From "Email address can be spoofed as well, In that case, whats the rescue??
There isn't one, other than being aware that it can happen, and being skeptical.
Well, you CANNOT "tell" right away, but we do know this is pure click bait!
